Honestly, there are two types of Taiwanese girls.

Girls who date exclusively Taiwanese / Abroad Chinese and Girls who exclusively date white guys.

Really though, the pool who dates white guys is around 25% of girls at the club, I see the same asian girls with different guys at different clubs. Especially this one chubster, always hooking up with a different white guy everytime I see her. Use protection fellas.

The good news is that those girls are definitely looking to fuck a white guy, so can be found in the dance floor waiting to be picked up.

There is definitely a huge surge of xenophobia. Taiwanese media (who have really nothing to report since there are no mass murders or anything of the sort here) like to project the image of a "horny foreigner".

You won't notice it all though, especially if you don't speak mandarin. Most Taiwanese guys are pretty much weaklings who just love to annoy you by cockblocking. Sometimes you see these 5'5 guys try and box you out with their skinny frame. Quite effective since you would have to literally push orbiters out of the way to talk to the girls.

But I've noticed a very, very racist attitude towards people with darker skins. This includes aboriginals, and even ordinary Taiwanese. Especially in Taipei. Most of the local guys want that white pasty girl, and would rather fuck a chubster / meh face girl then a hot tanned girl.

Unfortunately, same for dark guys. I've yet to see one good looking asian girl with a black guy or indian, and I've gone out quite a lot. You'll see gangs of Taiwanese use the n word quite a bit. Quite ironic.

My recommendation would be to skip Taiwan, unless your skin color is more of the light variant. Save you hassle of dealing with the weird social customs of Taiwan.

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah, I am on the lighter side for sure. But good to know this. Living in the states, the asian girls here seem much more open-minded -- including the very attractive ones, especially at good schools. Other than Koreans, Asian girls seemed very open dating people of every race (with a preference for white guys). Oh well, more than enough in Sing, BKK, and Manila!

Interesting. I certainly did notice this. But then again, I came here after Korea, which has MEGA-xenophobia in comparison.

Maybe if I went straight to Taipei, I would have noticed this more.

There are some reports on here which talk about xenophobia in a much more negative light than I did. Maybe I just got used to it.

A lot of girls I talked to would harp on about the 'loser English teacher' stereotype. But really, it goes away once you dress well and have some game haha.

Very interesting. I can actually only recount one instance of being cock-blocked, and that was the one mentioned earlier, which wasn't really cock-blocking I guess. (The girl with the boyfriend. Who I later blew a kiss at.)

Most of my Beta friends had stories of getting cock-blocked, or stories of EXTREME hostility from Taiwanese guys. (Like, they got into fights and stuff. And fights don't happen in Taipei that often).

BUT, I really do think it was down to their poor dress sense. They fulfilled the stereotype of 'dirty, scuzzy, sloppy foreigner'. They'd go to a club in shorts and a t-shirt. And would be piss drunk. Hence maybe the Taiwanese guys were 'protecting' their friends. (Somewhat understandably). The response I typically got from them was akin to 'a welcome change'. Taiwanese guys were always absolutely awesome in my experience! Very accommodating! Hell, I'd probably buy a guy a beer here on the sole basis of being Taiwanese.

Though I did kinda used to barge them out the way on Luxy dancefloor :-P

They just DON'T piss off!. They stand behind an uninterested girl with their arms in the air, as if they're getting somewhere! Sometimes you've gotta take action!

There were a few times where I just sifted/barged through the mass of Betas, walked up to a girl head on, grabbed her, danced with her, and thirty seconds later started making out with her.

Ah, I miss those days :'). You can't do that in Bangkok. There's less of a 'dancefloor culture'.

"There must be 100 other clubs in Bangkok like RCA, that city is huge".

I really wanna find that stuff. Luckily, I've made two pretty attractive female Thai friends (a 6 and a 7.5 in my book). They keep inviting me out. They went to RCA four times last week haha.

I'll be milking them for all the social proof I can get.

In my opinion, It's very hard to compare the two, because they really are VERY different. I could compare Korea and Taiwan quite easily, but Thailand feels like it's on a different continent sometimes.

Also, It's worth noting that I've only been here for sixteen days (Though I came here for a month before), in my opinion that isn't long enough to form an opinion on a place. I can give a general comparison based on my experience here so far, though I'll probably say something different in a few months :-P.

RioNomad, Beyond Borders and DirectDanger know much more about the place than I do. But anyway:

(Omitting the pro's and after-hours clubs as I don't 'do' shoring):

Attitudes of Girls: Bangkok wins: Taiwanese girls are more westernised and bitchy. You're more likely to get blown out (rudely), ignored or looked at like shit in Taipei.

Taiwanese girls have a massive 'princess' complex (particularly the 'Type A' ones). It can be annoying.

In my opinion, Taiwanese girls a require a more 'American' game. You have to neg more and quash their entitlement. With Thai girls, you can tease more and be more playful. My game is much more 'Russel Brand' here than in Taipei, where it was a little more 'James Bond' (excuse the awful choices of people haha).

Actually, there hasn't been one approach in Bangkok where a Thai girl hasn't been nice/receptive. (Though I got fucking BLOWN out by a Korean haha). I've made every one laugh actually. And I've approached a fair few.

BUT: I haven't been to Funky Villa/Demo yet. Could be different. I still have plenty more clubs to visit, before I can be conclusive on this. This is just a general opinion based on multiple trips to RCA/Khao San/Levels/Unibar etc.

Also, it's worth mentioning. None of these places have a prominent 'ONS culture, but it seems a little better in Taipei. Taipei is a bit more westernised. So, whilst those 'lower-class' girls will go home with you easier in Bangkok, I think the 'middle-class' girls are a little easier to take home in Taipei.

Overall Quality of Girls: Draw

In terms of working-class/middle-class girls (In Bangkok they frequent: Levels/Upper Sukhumvit/Khao San. In Taipei they frequent: Luxy/Babe18/Lava), the quality is much better in Taipei.

The only clubs that are similar in the two places are Levels and Luxy. So if I am to compare the two, Luxy wins in terms of quality. The girls are just cuter and are usually sexier.

Though in terms of middle to upper-class girls (Bangkok: RCA, Taipei: Myst/Spark): Bangkok absolutely wins. Upper class Thai girls are some of the most beautiful fucking things I've ever seen. Unbelievably feminine, and they seem so much nicer. I think any man would love one of these as their girlfriend.

Working-Class/Broke University girls: Bangkok wins, hands down.

Khao San Road looks like a good place to bag these. They're not 'high-quality' and they're not 'girlfriend material' but some of them are very cute. Definitely some 7's knocking about. I pulled a 7 here on my first night, using little game.

The backpackers in this place dress like shit, so if you go in a shirt, you stand out above the sausage hoard.

From there, just open girls and tease them. I found the backpackers don't even bother approaching. They're much more concerned with drinking from buckets and shouting 'LADS ON TOUR'. (I bought a dude a drink in there and he said "DUDE THAT'S 120 BAHT :O". That gives a general overview of your competition. (Actually, he was my biggest threat haha).

In my opinion, these girls are easier to game than the 'Type C' girls from Taipei. And generally, they're actually a lot cuter. In Taipei, you can really tell which girls have been pumped-and-dumped more times than they've eaten beef noodles.

Middle/Upper-Class Girls Bangkok wins

'Type A' Taiwanese girls are hot as hell, but oh man are they bitches. 'Type A' Thai girls seem much nicer and look way more feminine IMO, so Bangkok wins.

Ease of pulling: Both seem INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT. In Bangkok: Social proof is absolutely VITAL here. They don't want to be seen dead with a foreigner. You'll need to infiltrate a social group. In Taipei: Probably about as difficult, but for different reasons. You 100% need good Mandarin skills to get anywhere here.

So to stress, and echo the sentiments of RioNomad/Beyond Borders who are slamming their heads on the desk every time someone yells 'Thailand is easy'. If you go for these girls, expect a LOT of work. I'm slowly building up social proof and will slowly infiltrate. (A far cry from my 'Lets get a ONS' game in Taipei).

Nightclub layout - Taipei wins, hands down

In Taipei, you can just walk around an approach whoever the fuck you want, whenever you want. Then you can go for a dance and approach whoever.

Not in Bangkok though. In the good places, the dancefloor is packed with tables and Thai people are huddled around in a close-knit social group. Your goal of the night is to get invited to a table.

So in Taipei, it's all on your own back. Which is difficult, but you're in control.

But on Bangkok, you'll get nowhere unless you're invited into the social group. This is what makes it hard.

Rolling solo is fucking awkward and difficult in Bangkok, and the clubs are boring, so it's hard to get into the right mood. You have to be prepared to sit through some awkward times. I recommend taking up smoking. But I guess once you're invited to a table, it's not too bad.

So in Taipei, you can play the numbers game and approach fifteen girls. In Bangkok, you can't, you have to screen more and play a slower game.

Taipei clubs are WAY more fun. Bangkok clubs are boring as hell (apart from Levels. I really do like Levels).

Flakiness - Bangkok wins (i.e Thai girls are less flaky)

A number-'close' in Taipei - failure and NEXT (Their flakiness is very close to your assessment of Japanese girls in my opinion)

(NOTE: I really hate the term 'number-close'. It's hardly a close until you stick your penis in her :-P)

You have to shoot for the ONS in Taipei, or the moment's gone. That's it. Escalate, escalate, escalate and bang. No other options. Unless you find a really cute Type B girl who goes to club once a year. Those are hard to find though.

Actually, that's another point. Most Taiwanese girls don't go clubbing (same with Thai girls, but Taipei is smaller). You'll see the same faces. A lot of these girls have developed their entitlement by getting validated in the clubs every week. The type B girls are the untouched goldmine of Taipei. It requires daygame. Something of which I don't do (and probably should).

A number-'close' in Bangkok - not so much the case. In my short time here, girls I've number-'closed' girls who are way more up for meeting.I think you might have to get the number and slowly build up to the bang with a date. Thai culture is different, they seem less likely to go home with you that night.

So to summarise: I prefer Bangkok. But OH MAN do I wish it had the layout of the Taipei clubs.

I'll try and write something less convoluted in a few months time when I have a better idea of the place.

As for my Thai language skills. Very basic. Translates to "Chicken. Rice. Me. OK?". "This one. OK?" "That beer. OK?"

I'm kind of a Dash Global when it comes to learning languages haha. But this time I'm gonna learn more, as language will help the infiltration. Much more important to learn the language here, as it's not based on one night stands.

I agree with you that definitely need the high energy to work the dance floor magic. Last night my friends were working magic, I was being useless. Small crowded dance floor doesn't help. A new mega nightclub is in its "beta" stage right now and its frankly fucking amazing. Its gonna blow the crap out of any other club in Taipei.

As an ABC though its very easy to chill back at the bar and talk to the girls who look bored. Numbers aren't that flaky for me, I've gotten some lays from the first daters. A lot of cuties chilling.

Actually, yeah more lays from dates met during the night then ONS so far in Taipei.

Real hot girls though are almost damn near impossible, their shield is up from the get go. Harder then the west.

This is very surprising, considering that the few Taiwanese girls I've met outside of Taiwan so far have been the least flakey women I've met. Then again, I'm working from a relatively small sample, but I was surprised as each of them had agreed to meat up even under circumstances where I would have expected most girls to flake. To add a disclaimer: My game is pretty 'energy' based. If I don't feel I'm gonna get something really soon (sex) then I tend to move on very quickly. I can be a bit impatient, but I think I can suss out early whether the bang is possible or not. I don't try and slowly infiltrate a vagina (though I'm starting to go slower in Bangkok, it's usually vital here if you want quality).

It has/had to be ENERGY ENERGY ENERGY, BANG. (If that makes any sense. it probably doesn't haha). If those girls are not the club-going type, then they are the 'cream' of Taipei in my opinion. A 7 in that caste is girlfriend material. I think those girls are shy 'Type B' girls. They probably go to the KTV's rather than the clubs. They're usually impossible to find unless you do day game. I'm 100% night game haha.

yeah thats not ture. Levels may be the only one on weekends, as its mostly full of dark isan girls looking for white guys. But yes there are hardly any other clubs like RCA (route 66/slim) in Bangkok where you will get the same hit rate %.

Very detailed datasheet, great effort you put in.

I was only in Taiwan for three weeks and like most of the foreigners there I was a dirty backpacker. I didn't pack any nice clothes with me and I looked pretty scruffy for most of the trip. Taiwan was just an unexpected stopover, or else I would have prepared.

I went to a few of the clubs in Taipei and found a lot of the girls there to have princess complex, bitch shields were a little high but not quite western standards high. I didn't pull any girls but I also didn't have anywhere to take them as I was staying in hostels.

Kaohsiung I found to be completely different though. The girls seemed much more approachable with less ego. I pulled a 7.5/10 girl from this club called Dreams really easily. She was a Taiwanese flight attendant and dragged me back to her 5 star hotel. It took two elevators to reach her room and when I entered some of the floor was glass with flowers and shit underneath. I remember waking up extremely hungover in the morning with absolutely no idea how to get back to my hostel.

The award for friendliest girls goes to Hualien. Very small, clean and pleasant town that most Taiwanese will vacation in. I had girls greet me on the street all the time.

Awesome data sheet - any thoughts on the best way for a foreigner who speaks conversational mandarin to use it to his advantage? Perhaps loud clubs wouldn't be the ideal spot to meet people?

Also, I've heard there are alot of South Americans in Taipei. For a Spanish speaker, any suggestions on how to tap into that community?

I think daygame could be a real goldmine. Unfortunately, I don't really do it, so I don't know how well a white guy would do with it. (It's gotta be better than Korea though lol).

Well actually, I know some foreigners daygame in Taipei Main Station, but I would avoid that place and those guys. I was curious about how well they were doing, so I contacted a guy from that group and asked him for his notch-rate (after giving mine). His response was 'PUA's don't usually disclose their bang rate'. So either that place sucks, daygame sucks or he sucks. (I'm going for the latter.)

90% of the good Type B girls never go to clubs, and they have a much better attitude than the 10% who go regularly.

The ones who go every week have MEGA inflated ego's, due to receiving so much validation from guys. I've occasionally met the odd gem 'Type B' in a club, but it's rare because they'll only go like three times a year. I think the club scene is partly responsible for the 'Princess Bitch' attitude of most Taiwanese girls.

The one's who don't frequent clubs are really pretty, but bizarrely nice, because they don't get approached by twenty drunken guys per week. These girls won't put out easily, but they are the highest of quality, and they don't have the princess-complex of a 'Type A' gold-digger.

In fact, the 8/10 I dated for a while was only at the club for her friend's birthday. It was her first time in a club that year. (I really should get into daygame. IMO, that's the way to REALLY hack the quality in Taipei, nightgame is fucking painful at times.)

But yeah, there were many times I'd walk around Taipei and think "Fuck, you never see these girls at the club". I'd see an 8/10, dressed pretty averagely, eating noodles with her friends or something. She probably never gets hit on by white guys.

Nightmarkets may be a good way to go. Particularly the less-touristy ones. (Banqiao has a pretty good one). The vintage shops in Ximen/Zongxiao might be good too, I got some traction there and got two numbers. But I'm impatient and got sucked into playing for one-night stands, so I didn't really give that a good go. (I'm trying to get rid of this ONS-or-nothing attitude, it's detrimental at times).

Drinking outside the 7-11 near Myst/Lava/Babe18/101 is good too. Many people congregate there at night. I did some approaches around there, and usually talked to people before heading into a club. Perhaps some Mandarin ability will stop you falling flat on your face with the girls like I did haha. (There's also an area outside Babe18 where people sit, before going into the club. I approached here a few times. Didn't get much traction though lol). There's another 7-11 near Luxy too, that gets a reasonable crowd, but not as big as the one near 101.)

In terms of clubs, though, Myst has a big balcony area where you can approach, without a blast of music. And Spark has a big area outside where a lot of people congregate (primarily to escape Spark). You don't even have to bother going into Spark, just approach there. I did some approaches there, maybe should have tried it again, but never got round to it.

IMO, there's not THAT many. I was made aware of the South American contingent before I arrived, but was kinda disappointed by the actual numbers. Twice I found a Honduran girl in a club, and one time I talked to a half-Brazilian. Other than that, didn't really see any in the clubs. (But I usually only notice yellow girls :-P).

I googled and facebooked for Spanish groups/Language Exchanges/Salsa clubs, but didn't find too much.

Then again I don't speak Spanish and only used google-translate to try and find these things.

Plus I have the attention span of a fish. Whilst typing this I've already gotten up twice to kick a ball of socks around my room and pretend I'm Eden Hazard, so perhaps you'll find this a lot easier than me.

There are definitely some there though. South American countries acknowledge Taiwan as a country, hence young people can get free/cheap university here. I did see some random nationalities walking around NTU in the day. (I also once met a guy from Nauru. NAURU).

Maybe daygaming at a campus could be good? I never did check out any of the campuses due to having a vampire-like sleeping pattern.

By the way , i have 3 friends who join me at taiwan when i was there at differents times but for a short time (one week end for one and one weeks for the two other ) .

just arrived taipei from jakarta.... thanks for the funny and detailed post. Gonna bump this so I can share my experiences too. I too lurked this forum for a while (6 months) or something. Leighton recommend a friday night club. Sunday I already got a girl booked from skout, 6.5/10 amazing body average face. But got the weekend free.

If you're white then:

Luxy both nights 100%, there's just nothing that compares man.

If you want, you can go chill at the 7-11 nearby from like 10 onwards. Grab a street beer there. Usually there are people to talk to. Open up the guys as much as the girls. (If you want, shove a bottle of Heineken in your pants before you go in to save you 200NT inside :-P. Yes I used to do this, with two sometimes).

Get there early, 10.45-11pm, there'll be no guys there.

Start in the small room and grab a beer, then just open people up. I've always done MUCH better there when I've started in the small room. Great place to approach girls at the bar.

Then, you can approach the girls standing near that corridor on the way to the bathrooms. Always groups of them early on and they're usually nice at that time of the night.

Generally, avoid approaching the girls at the circular bar in the main room. Most of them are fucking princesses who are being looked after by the thirsty Beta barmen and their paying orbiters.

Then hit the dancefloor as soon as it starts (Maybe midnight), later it'll be fucking RAMMED and you'll have to wade through loads of Beta dudes orbiting the girls.

12:30am-2am is prime making out time. Very easy to get a makeout here, if you want one, you'll get one, just a bit of work to find a 7 who will come home with you :-P, but certainly do-able.

It's probably the only place for a white guy to get quality girls without a MONUMENTAL amount of effort. I miss Luxy.

Then if you get get nothing by 2 or 3am, Run over to Roxy99 (After hours club/ Stays open till the morning. Quality is usually all gone by 4am BUT cute girls do drop in late as they come here to party after the other places close)

Some cute girls in Roxy99, and some massive sluts too :-P. One of the easier places to ONS from.

But if you want to go to a different place on the second night, just for the sake of making the trip more interesting, go to either:

1) Carnegies: Dive bar hell. The quality and ratio is fucking atrocious, but it's pretty funny to see. Full of old, fat westerners and a few slags. If you can find a cute girl there, you'll pull her as you have zero competition.

2) Myst: The high-end club. Cool to experience but mega-hard to pull at. Outside patio is pretty nice. Girls have mega princess complex. Expect to be blown out like you've never been blown out before!

Well done for getting Sunday booked. There's nothing on that night

But if she flakes, the only place in the city worth partying at is Babe18. It's terrible, but yeah, it's all-you-can-drink and beats staying in haha

That's good you said Korea. If you've been there, you'll be fine coping with the attitude of Taiwanese girls.

Actually, I've been worried recently that this datasheet is slightly too positive.

A man landing in Taipei from Korea is going to find Taipei comparatively amazing. (I remember practically screaming with glee on my first night when I actually saw males and females dancing with each other in a club!)

But a man landing in Taipei from Thailand is going to find it disappointing (though that's not to say all Thai girls are easy, very difficult if you want quality. Just in Taipei, there's no easy 'lower-caste' like there is here with the university girls).

I've always maintained that Taipei is no place to go for a short 'bang' trip. So don't worry if you come away without the flag.

It took me three weeks to get mine and a lot of members here have gone for short trip and left without a flag. Just have fun, enjoy it, get drunk, and have a shot at it. It's do-able.

Then go and see the sights of Taipei...... hahaha. It's one HELL of a boring city for a tourist, and the food sucks.

Fantastic place for an English teacher to live though. Good money and a workable nightlife scene.

In terms of prostitutes in Taipei: I should probably clear this up as I've seen them mentioned above.

There are about five of them in total probably. They're all old and fucking ugly. One time I approached one from behind by accident. She turned round and I nearly screamed!

so now its 11:58 am, gonna write my sloppy FR... if it is even an FR, its actually just fucking stupid experience but a good learning one.

I took your recommendation and hit the club Luxy just before it got 200 TWD more expensive, like 10:57pm loool. It was kinda empty... so I was unsure if coming early was the right choice, however scanning through the crowds is always a fun thing to do. within an hour the people came flooding in like swamp rats...a lot of guys.. but also a nice amount of girls. The ratio was quite a surprise to me....it was surely 60% guys but when you club in europe, specially in the netherlands ull never find 3:2 ratio.

Anyway so the crowds were dancing and jeez i had my eye on 2-3-4-5 girls instantly, i didnt know were to start. I found it a bit uncomfortable to dance between 11-12:30 cuz there were million eyes upon the dance floor and its a bit weird if ur alone... so i kinda waited it out till it got busier and people got drunk.

12:30: i see a cute girl with her flat belly showing, i instantly walk up to her and her friend and said 'ur cute, lets dance'. she hesitated but smiled, we went to dance. bad choice she was fckin jumping from side to side and going down low by herself and back up...it was like watching mario irl. despite her 6/10 looks and her flat belly i was like this is going nowhere. luckily she says "im going back to my friend to get her to dance" my queue to gtfo.

i let the cutie go dance on her own and within seconds she was surrounded by SS-Generals lookalike germans. out of instinct i shifted direction to another 7/10 girl (Y) who happened to sit next to the birthday girl. she asks me to dance after she smiled at me. we went to dance and damn she amazing. we made out for like 15 minutes, neck kissed etc. the typical and she was smilin and continuously up for it.

so....i learned a lesson. whilst dancing and kissing Y, girl X saw us and kinda got...idunno...jealous isnt the word but she knocked my head and said u stupid. and i was like...u were obviously having a good time with them (germans). she brings the germans up, but they got played just as bad as i did, they got unlucky as i saw them leave room with nothing 5 minutes later. Me being drunk and focusing on X while im dancing and making out with Y, was the biggest mistake. My game was fckin amateur at that point.

at the end, 4 am. i got nothing. i had 2 girls in check, both showin IOIs, (who doesnt do that in clubs) and both cute, but i lost X cuz she went back with her girl friend and I lost Y cuz i got heavily cockblocked by another taiwanese guy who had the advantage of the language barrier that i had with the girl. the girl showed heavy interest in him. why? idunno. he looked like a typical metrosexual guy whose body can be snapped with 1 kick to the waist.

TL DR= I came back empty, whilst being incredibly close to gettin at least one of the two. Big mistake: Focus on one girl whilst dancing with another.

too be fair though if i left the group early i couldve picked up other girls as they were eyeing me continuously+, however i wanted the best of the best....so greediness on my first night in taipei mightve been another error. but yea...luxy is great. xD
