This does sound pretty screwed up, I was just on the phone to a CC chica in Medellin, she asked me to pick up the fare for her taxi, I told her to take the bus! There was no mention of Blueberries, perhaps I should stop off at the store and pick up a tub just to be on the safe side.

Never understood the logic behind not paying a women's taxi fare if she is coming over to bang the hell out of you...especially if blueberries aren't required.

Yes, it is normal for guys to pay the taxi and for coffee, drinks and food if you invite them to eat.

Colombian guys pay and you'll have to pay also or risk being labeled "tacano". jajaja

Whereas paying for drinks, food is very normal. I can't think of any other place I've been in the world where the girl asks for her cab fare to get to a date.

I've found that Colombian Cupid has varied depending on where I am, here in Medellin it's been pretty crap but in other places I've met some hot girls and one absolute stunner.

I've only met young girls, I think the oldest would be around 24, it's not that this is my personal preference it just seems that these are the only ones that reply, I'm not even sure if mid to late 20's single girls without children exist in Colombia.

Colombian Cupid is something I do on my down time....I never waste much time chatting with women before asking them out.

I think I had a stroke of beginner's luck with the first CC lay and am finding further efforts to just be wasted time. I had two dates scheduled for yesterday. One texted me 5 minutes after the meet time to say she was running late and wanted to meet someplace else farther from my apartment and I said I wasn't going there and she could call me if she wanted to meet by me later. Well I love Cali....but it's not for everybody....you really need to have friends here to get the full effect....then you'll be in the large groups partying your ass off instead of the lone gringo wondering how to approach.
