Thoughts on this for like a late afternoon thing to transition to drinks?

I used to do exactly that, like between 5-7. City I used to live I would use a hookah lounge as a starting point because of it's nice vibe and perfect location at the edge of a popular nightlife/shopping area with bars, pizzeria, cafe, bookstore, ice cream and other misc shit including a park and parking garage I'd pull to. I hope your hookah lounge is comparably well situated.

I think in theory a hookah lounge is perfect for this because it's more casual and low-pressure than a bar but more interesting/intimate and less friendzoney than a cafe or eatery or whatever.

Most hookah lounges have a full bar so you can get her started on drinks right there before venue change..

Great date idea. I've been to one that was byob and thought it would be cool to bring a girl. I think you should take girls to places that you actually enjoy so don't do it if you wouldn't go puff by yourself

i don't like them they're too fucking loud but unlike a bar there's no alcohol

most people come in big groups it's more of a group thing then a date place

it does work fine though i've tried it. it's a personal preference.

Hookah is awesome before drinking (not after and certainly not during). There is a whole hookah culture in my country and the competition has produced some outstanding places.

Carbon monoxide from hookah makes you kinda dizzy because it takes the oxygen from your brain. After the hookah, when you leave the place your body craves the oxygen so it uses it from air in huge quantities, making you slightly high, talkative and a bit horny. Add drinks to that and you get the perfect recipe for first date bang.

There is a catch. Some people get sick from hookah. I've seen young girls vomit in front of everybody and dudes losing consciousness. Make sure the place is big and that she has water and you'll avoid this.

I used to do "shot kisses." I would take a shot, or make a drink at an afterparty put the drink in my mouth (don't swallow it no homo) and kiss them and pour the shot out of my mouth into hers.

Time to dust this one off
