The only alternative is to this mess is to make yourself more attractive by bodybuilding and dressing better and sitting back and waiting for women to approach you.

This is good, but I'd amend it to say that you body build etc. that will make the approach better, not to be passive and wait for women to come to you. The example of direct game with a having a sculpted body is Good Looking Loser. He still does approaches.

If you come across as stellar, than you can say almost anything to a girl.

There are good schools here and if you have the credentials you can make good money.

The thing with Toronto is that it's a trap like quick sand because the quicker you try to get out the more it sucks you in.

I should be moving next year but the city like and other things have slowed me down in getting school out of the way. Plus in Canada your options are slim. For all the shittyness of Toronto women the city itself is not bad. In the summer it's a great place and I enjoy being in a big place where I can be anonymous or known if I choose too. The only other City in Canada I can see myself in is Montreal for lifestyle, or Calgary purely for money making reasons. Both have their pros and cons.

Everything else does not offer much.

The East Coast is great but unless your in the military sector in Halifax your not going to make good money. Vancouver is more expensive than Toronto, with less stuff to do, and bleaker job prospects.

If you want that fast lifestyle in Canada you got slim pickings. I'm leaning more to go to the States after if anything just for maybe two years. Even DC might be an option for me lol that's how much better I view it than Toronto.

I agree with your points for the younger guys tho. Canada is a big place and you can get the same travel rush like being abroad going around the country working shit jobs, hosteling it, and bangin local broads and foreigners.


Back to game though. I agree with Rude as you have a ton of normal dudes whom are just drawn into the wrong system and approach and it just compounds and makes the situation worse overall.

IF I as going to do mall game I would pick the smaller ones like Sherway Gardans which is more high end, or fair view which has more suburban and Scarborough girls. Even Yorkdale is better the way it's set up, Eatons is just a big narrow hallway with chock points yes, but it's a zoo of movement in there and way too chaotic.

The grocery stores would be better. The high end ones are always full of women and they have the edge off since they are thinking about food.

The way I stay sane is by finding girls who are here in the country temporarily. Canada offers a working holiday visa to many countries so you'll find a lot of girls just here for a year. That isn't nearly enough time for the poisons of Toronto to affect their psyche.

I don't consider myself a particularly attractive man to be honest. I could stand to lose a few pounds and I'm sure most women don't dig my long hair. But what I do have going for me is my confidence and my "Gift of gab". I can talk with anybody about anything. It's really more my energy level to disabling bitch shields. If I am half awake and just feeling down it takes more for me to cold approach women with a, "how are you doing" versus pre screening one that shows subtle interest.

Does that make sense? It's the difference between being able to walk up to a girl, start talking to her, get her interested in a date/go on a date, and end it.

Watching my environment for girls that catch my glance and stare THEN do the open. This is normally a lot easier for me to do than what I described above.

If I wait around and watch my environment, my prey tends to make itself known versus finding a girl and playing my luck. My energy level needs to be at a certain point to be able to do number 1. I know how to get there, but damn it is difficult. I sometimes can do this right after the gym.

For the record I dread the thought of moving somewhere else in Canada, I am sure there are better places with nicer women. Montreal I would move too but career advancement would be a problem assuming I could find a decent job.
Vancouver sounds lovely and might be a better fit, it is more expensive and I hate rain.

Toronto is just unforgiving, you better have your stuff in order. I like the city, it has a nice feel to it. I live in the burbs so I tend to have my spots, local malls, Whole foods, Starbucks are my usual haunts. Eaton Center I stay away from especially after some people got shot in the food court.

None of those places are good to live in. Outside of the bigger cities in Canada, its mostly small towns with not much to do.

Easy women everywhere in Canada (and America). Just have to find them.

To be fair, I watched the whole first season, I thought it was pretty entertaining. However, you're right - once he'd basically forced them past approach anxiety, I don't really see what he taught them.

One area where I disagree with your sister...nothing wrong with 'fake it till you make it' - although that doesn't apply to wearing outlandish costumes. As lets face it, they are, fucking costumes.

I thought that the show offered a pretty sympathetic view of PUA.

And while your sister is correct, you've gotta walk before you run. If anything, PUA has offered an opportunity for guys with zero game to see their own potential. While it might have little to do with "game," if you convince a guy that has not had a convo with an attractive woman in 5 years that he'll be able to if he uses the right line and it works, it really doesn't matter if ANY opener would have worked.

This small success will be the first step in confidence building that leads towards him learning to be comfortable with himself.

People focus too much on the tangible appearance of PUA activities, rather than the underlying framework.

One of the biggest rules emphasized in "The Game" was to not do what everyone else is doing. The player's approach must be unique. Clearly, these "players" in Toronto are failing to pay attention to even that one rule.

Look, Having a direct vs indirect debate is useless. Let's be honest: This is about calibration.

You can go direct if you're calibrated, and nobody's going to freak out. If you pick and choose who you approach, and make each one count (because you're capable of having an actual conversation that lasts more than 30 seconds) there's not going to be any backlash.

Unfortunately, not everyone is capable of that, and so shit is - to some degree - being ruined for everyone.

It really is a shame.

I commented on that thread and no I have never been. Still a bit pricey to go there for a weekend or a few more days. I paid $500 the first time I flew to Iceland, I doubt I would ever get that price to fly to Newfoundland.
