I've always wanted to go to JA, I've always done ok with American girls as well. I would like to combine a visit with meeting some American women.

Does anyone know of any good resorts etc that are likely to have hot young party girls? bear in mind I will be travelling solo.

I go to Jamaica at least one a year and will go back in December. Personally most girls in terms of banging go there for the black guys and weed.

Honestly you'll probably have more luck with European women in Jamaica. Lots of Europeans go to Jamaica for like a month to six weeks ata time and stay in the more budget hotels thogh you'll obviously find American girls as well and plenty of girls at the All Inclusives.

I go to Jamaica once or twice a year, have been going for the past 6 or 7 years. I absolutely love Jamaica. It's an awesome place don't get me wrong but it's more a chill spot than a spot for nightlife and because it can be somewhat of an intimidating destination for some people and because you hear all hte negative press that probably leads to less single women going alone.

None the less I do notice lots of single female travelers though like I said more Europeans than Americans.

I'd recommend going to Negril I love negril. Don't do ocho rios or Montego Bay, everyone I know who goes there hates it. Negril is much more laid back and chill, 420 friendly. Stay at a non ai hotel as Ai's often dont allow guests. As far as nightlife there's a club called the Jungle which is probably teh best place to hookup, you'll find tourists but also lots of locals most of the local women who come on to you are prostitutes and aids is a big issue so beware of that I wouldn't pay for play here plus most are like crack heads anyway.

There's plenty of cool day trips and things to do, waterfalls, weed fields, cool private beaches and stuff. Don't do planned tours just hire a driver. If you decide to go pm me and I can hook you up with my driver.

Cool story on one of my last trips there I wound up meeting a well known news reporter. Actually didn't realize it was her the first day I hung out with her, smoked a few giant spliffs, went to a club. A few times she said you can't tell anyone you saw me doing this which struck me as odd, we are from teh same city but really? After a night of clubbing all the sudden it hit me who she was. I was leaving the next day, saw her at breakfast and gave her the rest of my weed and a pack of rolling papers as she still had a few days there.

Good advice, Negril is definitely the spot, I'd second the recommendation to skip MoBay and Ocho Rios. In Negril there are two sides, the beaches and the cliffs, the beach had more "action", but I liked the cliffs better, more scenic and laid back, plus there aren't really any cops down there, which makes smoking weed more chill. Most bars and some cafes have signs that say no "ganja smoking", but I've been at places where there were Rastas blazing right next to the owner, and he had a good laugh over the "no ganja smoking" sign.

I'd recommend staying at the Blue Cave Castle, amazing location, moderately priced, and probably one of the most epic hotels I've stayed at. Food in Negril is good, but I especially recommend this spot called "3 Dives Jerk Chicken", best jerk chicken I had in JA, and considered by many in the know to be the best in the whole country.

Unfortunately I never made it to the Jungle, but it is supposed to be the spot in Negril, probably the best spot to try and pick up chicks. One cool thing about Negril is that there are a lot of reggae shows on the beach, and a lot of times they are big names that you may well have heard of. I agree that most Jamaican chicks who hit on you are going to be hookers and not worth fucking with, and personally I didn't find Jamaican women to be very attractive, with the exception of a few outliers. Also, the reputation is true, there are a bunch of white women that go there specifically because they have jungle fever and want to try some of the black shlong. Jamaican dudes are also ridiculously aggressive, like on another level of aggressive caveman game, and it works on a fair amount of chicks.

Cool to find another Negril lover on here. I could see many on this forum leaning towards Mobay as it's the place to go if you wanna smash 18-21 year olds but really why have a subpar vacation in what in my opinion is a less than desirable destination just to smash 18 years olds, may as well go to panama city. Negril in my opinion is by far way better, safer, less hassle, better beaches, etc, etc, etc.

My favorite hotel is CoCo La Palm however costs have gone up since a new resort next door openeed up they raised prices. There's definately some good cheap spots out there though. I agree cliffs are very cool, if your into adventure sports or being active some great cliff diving out by the cliffs. Ricks Cafe is a tourist trap but still pretty cool and worth checking out for an hour and a beer or two.

Something about Negril, when you run into people there most people are like yeah I been here 5 times, 10 times, 50 times, etc people love it and go back. Weed is very laid back there, mushrooms are legal though not really the same type as here in the states. Guys on the beach selling ganja banaan bread, brownies, etc.

I remember one night at dinner at a restaurant on the beach I asked the server for an ashtray, he said no smoking cigarettes mon, only ganja. He was joking of course but that was enough for me, pulled a bob marley sized spliff out my shirt pocket and blazed up as a 60 something couple was sitting at the table right behind me, cool thing is most people are very chill and easygoing whether older, younger, male, female, etc.

Yeah I forgot to comment on nightlife. The jungle is cool, best place to hookup. There are tons of live reggae shows on the beach and as OG said lots of pretty big names at the shows if your into reggae you'll probably recognize most names. Lots of places have live music but alfreds is one of the better known ones.

I agree that Negril is probably the best bang for your buck in Ja, especially if you're only going for a week, however, I wouldn't totally write off Mo Bay. Its a decent city especially if you're looking to scoop up a local gyal to take somewhere like Negril and there's good times to be had there on the weekends at Pier One and Margaritaville. If you're looking for a Jamaican girl, I suggest pipeling ones in Mo Bay, then spending 2-3 days there to hang out and party then moving on to Negril or elsewhere.

Since the OP is looking for American chicks, I can recommend checking out Bethel Court Guest House/hostel in Mo Bay, I've stayed there on three different ocassions and met white girls from the USA, Canada, Europe, Oz, etc, yes, many of them are there for the local bamboo, but not all.

I only stayed in Negril for 2 or 3 days, took a Mo Bay girl there, did some snorkeling and smoked my brains out, a good spot to smoke and watch a sun set is at the light house past Ricks Cafe, just keep walking about 10 minutes past Ricks and you'll get there, nice little spot. My favorite place in all of Jamaica is still the Blue Mountains and Kingston, I highly suggest checking it out. Ochi fucking blows, I don't recommend staying there unless you really want to do Dunn's River Falls, which is a tourist trap but fun all the same.

I really like Jamaica and look forward to going back, next time I'm going to hit up the Appleton Estate rum tour and chill in Treasure Beach for a few days.

Oh man, I wish I had been a member and seen this thread before I went to Jamaica. I searched all over on whether to go to Negril, Montego Bay, and Ocho Rios. Ultimately I decided on Negril and Montego Bay. I regret the Montego Bay part.

I will say that Jamaican guys have some of the worst, outlandish game I have ever seen. It was easy for me to talk to tourist girls, because I was one of the few non-blacks around, and the girls were tired of the Jamaican guys game. I would hear them saying stupid things like, "I got a camera, let's go and make a video," or "I want to marry you and go back to Germany with you," or "You do know that you're beautiful, right?"

Maybe some of that stuff would fly AFTER you've established some rapport with girls, but not off the bat. Almost every girl I talked to said they didn't like it in Jamaica and probably wouldn't come back. I'm on the same boat. Typically I prefer local girls when I travel, but they weren't very attractive, were kind of ghetto, and I assumed many were prostitutes. Most of the female tourists here were in groups of two or three and very receptive to being approached. Oddly, while Jamaican game was bad, they were not overly aggressive at the club. I don't think anyone ever tried to go up to a girl I was talking to at the club, even when we were standing away from each other.

It's more of a middle aged thing. With young women it may not do shit, but they're chasing the cougar sex tourists, and it works wonders on them.
