Pictures make a huge difference.
At first, I only had a couple pics of me, alone, and wouldn't get many matches. Still would, but not as many.
Then I put a couple other pics that were taken at a club, well dressed (suit, no tie) both with women. One with one girl on each side of me and the other with another chick.
I get way more matches now.
Tinder makes me realise there's at least 1000 7+ girls that live within 2 miles of my home.
Where are they at the clubs and during the daytime??
they are fake
i'm convinced tinder has tons of fake profiles to make guys interested.
I've met some hot girls and have dates set up with them; and mutual friends on facebook. Not buying the whole fake thing when I've seen otherwise. My buddy thought one girl was fake, until I showed him the match with the same girl where I had a mutual friend and had conversed with her.
However, I'm still wanting to know why I haven't had a single match with girls I've liked, and only ones who have liked me first. I'm content with it as is, but I can't help but feel like I'm missing/wasting potential here.

Had 3 tinder dates, and am chatting with 6 other girls on whatsapp trying to convert them into dates in the following 1-2 weeks.
So far it works quite well. I do try to convert them to whatsapp and away from tinder asap. This also gives me their mobile number and real (full) name (due to a bug in whatsapp it sends their first message with their fullname) for easy fb checking of their other pictures.
I always use the same 2 lines though, opening with "where would xx miles from here bring me?"
>> response rate is 50-60%
and after a quick conversation I say something like "do you have whatsapp? Hit me up at xxxxxx, this tinder thing is draining my battery"
RX2 路 2013-11-06 10:17:00 路 #483
^I use something similar
"this app is killing my battery, let's move this to text"
usually get "sure xxx - xxx - xxxx" or "ok" then number
Then I say:
"i'll text you something dirty so you know it's me"
and really just text "something dirty."
they seem to laugh it off then i just joke about how they have a dirty mind, call them naughty girl and go on from there
^ Solid post.
I'm sitting on four numbers from Tinder - they are all hot. I feel my problem is that I've switched to phone number but now they won't see my pics anymore when I message them.
Whatsapp is the way to go.
Either I need to find a way to slip a picture of me into a text without trying too hard, or I need to revert back to messaging them on Tinder even though I have their number.
Will need to go for the former I think.

Why?
You're assuming that female attraction is visually based, when in reality female attraction is based off feeling and emotion. How you make her feel is 100x more important than reminding her what your picture looks like. Also sounds like you are putting the pussy on the pedestal/over-gaming a little bit by trying to continually impress her with your photo. If you have the number then the pickup is complete, you don't need to keep trying to pick her up. And if anything she should be sending you photos.
I've had girls meet up with me 2 weeks after I've blocked them on Tinder. Once you get more experience with online dating, you'll realize that your photos only serve to pass the initial attraction test, then it's all about feeling and vibe from that point on. She's not going back to look at your photo every time a message is exchanged, nor does she need to.
i'm completely inexperienced with online dating. so i don't know how it works. i tend to assume girls online will forget about me even after they agree to catch up for drinks.

Just be very straightforward online, more then how you would do normally. Confidence is more difficult to communicate online, so you can go further then you'd normally do.

I got 10 matches in 24 hours from this app.
To bad the really hot girls don't seem to bite on my profile pic.
Surprised by the quality in this app
quality is outrageously high in london. i'm knocking back 6s.
Ok Tinder is officially ridiculous. I have 10+ numbers of 7+ girls and it's easy as fuck. Then I call them on Whatsapp, tease them a bit, and they tell me how cute my Australian accent is. There is just a never ending stream of quality girls on this app. I don't know how I'm going to prioritise which one I want most. Could fill calendar quickly.
Ok here's a tip:
Girl: 'Do you use this much'
You: 'Haha first day, this is so weird'
Girl: 'Haha me too, I know right!'
You: 'Yeah'
Opener:
You: 'You look cute'
Girl: 'Thanks /

/ You too'
Here's another one.
You: 'Wait it says you're only 18'
Girl: 'And so?'
You: 'As long as you're a mature 18 yo there is no problem haha'
Girl: 'Haha

'
Yes, both parties need to like each other.
Does anyone have insight into how distance works with the algorithm?
Let's say I set my radius to 10 miles. I know for girls who've never swiped me, I will only see them if they are within 10 miles.
I've also gotten matches from girls outside my selected radius, say 15 miles or even 40 miles.
Does my distance selection affect how much I get shown around to other girls? If I choose 5 miles, will more girls within that area see me, and fewer girls outside that area see me? I'm wondering if I should put a higher distance so I get more exposure, or if my selection doesn't change how much exposure I get.
Also, I changed my distance and it seems like some girls that had swiped me disappeared from my stack.

they have been pulling in more and more outside of my area. I have mine set to a 3 mi radius, 21-28. I get a steady stream and never run out, but I have been getting a lot out in central jersey, long island, 10-30 miles out. I think thats how they are gaming the supply. three more tinder dates this week, one more bang, a 28 yo nurse, good times.
I used to match with several per day like 8 avg. now it's one. And the girls are all out of area. A girl with zero common friends and zero common interests is just not from my town even if it says one mile. It's a ton of fakes now
You can recognize the bots/spam/fake ones. Most of them start off with "hey have we spoken before?" and then follow some sort of script and never respond to any of your responses.
Ive only been on a couple of days and already ran into one. I didn't make it all the way through or get an invite to their paysite, but apparently that was only because I smelled a rat and stopped responding pretty quickly.

Not sure if this has been discussed but noticed how 95% of profiles of good looking girls always have 5 pictures.
Something tells me thats more than just a coincidence. Of the girls you guys have met how many pictures did they have?
Something tells me most profiles with 5 pics are fake ones
I've added about 10 good looking girls from Tinder on Facebook/Whatsapp, all have hundreds of photos dating back years. Not fake in London.
So what is the consensus? If I want to make sure none of my Facebook friends are able to know that I am on Tinder I should make a second Facebook page to be safe?

So far the only fake I encountered had 3 photos. I think the best way to tell is if they have 0 mutual interests. Anyone can create a fake facebook profiles using fake photos and use that to set up a tinder account and then use that for the camwhore site.
edit: I mean if it has just some photos and has not liked any music or movies or tv shows, that seems to be what the spam accounts are doing. Of course it is possible that you just have vastly different tastes and so you have zero interest matches. Or maybe her photo is real and she just never really liked any facebook pages at all.

I think having mutual friends is a good pre qualifier. I can only speak from my experience, but I've noticed that I am slightly more likely to swipe "yes" to women that are friends of my facebook friends. Don't get me wrong, if I am not attracted to them, I will still swipe "no".
