In their minds they have a similar reaction to deeply tanned women that we do to fatties.
It's also interesting how us foreigners tend to lust after the tanned girls in Asian countries while the locals look down on them. I've seen the same thing in Japan and elsewhere in Asia.
I guess it's kind of like how some African guys really go after these extremely fat blond women, while we just think "what the hell was that guy thinking???" when we see them together.
Kind of shows how much culture can play a role in what we consider attractive. With the Chinese, every attractive person they see every day on TV, billboards and in magazines has this porcelain-white skin tone. The people you see with extremely deep, copper/bronze tans are usually country bumkins and bums who otherwise have horrible hygene. On top of it, you're constantly told that by people around you that white skin is beautiful (spend enough time listening to Chinese girls talk amongst eachother, you'll get the idea). So while I don't relate to it, it's easy to see where it's coming from. Must be be pretty fucked up for women who are born with naturally tanned skin.
I love hearing these attitudes honestly
- they're being honest
- they're neglecting the very thing that I like
You want a porcelain alabaster goddess?
You want a blonde blue eyed tall chick with a teenage boy's body?
You want to hump that stringy haired behemoth cause you heard fat girls give great head?
You want to play for the other team?
AWESOME. I love it when my competition eliminates itself.
Problem is, what I like, pretty face with a coke bottle body, EVERYONE ELSE LIKES TOO.

RE: China's lonely hearts
There's an article today about mixed-race couples in China on the BBC. It specifically addresses Chinese guys marrying Western women. Apparently it's a lot more common for Chinese women to marry Westerners than Chinese men. This is the same pattern as the U.S. though - Asian girls marry white guys much more than the reverse situation.
Quote:Mixed marriages in China a labour of love
In 1978, there was not a single inter-racial marriage registered in mainland China, according to government figures.
But the numbers of Chinese marrying foreigners has gradually risen, with 53,000 such couples tying the knot in 2012...
A sexual revolution has taken place in China; from the way people are dressing, couples holding hands in the streets in main cities, and young people becoming less inhibited about sex.
A factor in this revolution is that young Chinese people increasingly have greater autonomy from their parents in choosing a partner, Mr Burger says.
"For me to date and marry a Western woman was rebellious in a sense," says Jun, recalling that his father had cautioned him that foreigners could be friends but never lovers or wives.
More often than not Chinese families are wary or disappointed by such unions, but Jun says he was fortunate that as the youngest of three brothers his parents were more permissive.
By contrast, Jun is known as "the legend" amongst his peers as they generally regard having a Western wife as a "status symbol", he says.
But when it comes to cross-cultural marriage, far more Chinese women date or marry Western men than the other way around.
One of China's most famous scholars of sex, Li Yinhe, says one possibility is that Chinese men lack confidence.
Mr Burger agrees saying: "Men are engrained with a cultural imprint and are brought up to believe that they are the head of the household, they have the power.
"It is very intimidating approaching a Western woman, who has a perceived higher level of education, more money or earning power, and greater sexual experience."
It is in China's big cities that the surge in inter-racial relationships is most apparent...
"In the West, Asian women are portrayed as exotic beauties; a librarian in public but kinky in the bedroom. In China, the Western fantasy meets reality," she says.
"Chinese women are brought up to be the care takers - they know how to look after their men. But in most households it's the woman who makes all the major financial decisions."

(10-23-2013 06:09 PM)El_Superbeasto Wrote: I asked a relatively upper class Chinese national friend about this and found out some pretty surprising stuff. Apparently, large number of Chinese women end up unmarried and childless as well, despite the favorable m/f ratio. Because of the intense unequal distribution of wealth, only a small slice of the men are considered marriagable, and all of the women are competing over them. It's not uncommon for a successful man to have both a wife and a mistress. So even though it's basically a sausage party on a nation state scale, it's not like women are holding all the cards and the guys are at their mercy. There's basically a small group of men drowning in pussy (with more women lining up to offer), while most guys never so much as get a whiff.
As a foreigner who lives in China, I totally agree with this. I look at some Chinese men I know and I wonder if he will ever bang a girl who is not a pro. A Chinese Singaporean once told me that anywhere Chinese go, housing prices skyrocket. He explained me that if you do not own your own house, the girl`s mother will not consider you a suitable husband. Therefore, he told me, "Having a house is really important for your happiness".
And gaming is seriously frowned upon. I have a Chinese colleague at the office who is single. I was talking to my Chinese assistant about him, She said: "he is very lonely". No problem with that. But, 2 minutes later she says "he hits on every single girl who comes to work with us". And she said meant like he was doing something terribly wrong. Somehow, if you are a lonely guy, approaching girls is the one thing you should not be doing in China. Go figure.
