At first I thought it was a 14 year range, as someone mentioned here. But yeah, it's a 10-year range. It might be a good idea to open accounts that say you're 28 (18-38), and your birthday was yesterday. That way you have 364 days left until you change.

I've developed a style of opener that allows me to endlessly substitute a couple of words. I send out a few openers and then make the substitution.

I have a couple of others that I change around the word order on and rephrase slightly.

No problems so far

MrXY, how did you save your messages? Did you save them in Word or just look at the messages you sent the day before?

General point, POF's message filter seems to not work. I just sent 6-8 messages using 3 templates, all passed through and are shown in the "sent" folder. Marcus may have been trolling us all along.

Changing the words every 8 messages is inefficient.

When I want to repeat a message I just change the spacings between words, dashes (-), and if all else fails, just hold enter, once I finished my sentence.

I once messaged a woman and it told me that my message was too short. So I put in one sentence and just held enter for 20 seconds. The message went through and I nearly fell off my chair laughing.

I don't see how your strategy for getting older women is going to work. If your listed age is 37 and they see a pic of you, they're going to assume that you are 37 and using very old pics, meaning you must be gross looking now. That's why you aren't getting many responses.

And what about if you actually met them. Do you think they're not going to notice you're very young looking? That's not going anywhere.

I would list your age as 25 if you can pass for that and message women from 18-35, you might get some that way who like younger guys.

But I don't think the system allows you to change your age and if you make another account for the same IP you might get banned, Maybe use a proxy service

POF allows you to change your age for 2 weeks after your registration.

For now, I'm 38 but state in my profile first sentence with bold letters: "I'm actually 21. Since POF does not let one search beyond 10 years I decided to game the system".

Most broads seem to look at my profile so I guess they read it. You're right though about the older pics part. My pics show me with long hair but now I have short hair....lizards don't like long hair as much.

47-49 times and not once was my message "not sent" or filtered.

Also, are you putting that you're looking for a relationship? I did that since most broads have that selected and don't want "looking for an intimate encounter" messaging them.

Edit: I managed to send 60-65 messages before POF stopped sending them. So 60 is the max.

10 out of 60 have replied, I'm doing cougar game, and got one bang set up. She lives down the street like 1 mile away, probably less.

This seems better than OKC where it's a hit or miss, some days I get a 0/25 response rate and other days an 8/25.

Have any of y'all gotten your account deleted? How do you know it's been deleted?

I created a second account yesterday, everything was exactly the same on both profiles, so I could spam message lizards. Today I tried to log in and get "Invalid username/password" on both accounts.

I'm not sure if they were deleted because I had two or because I lied about my age (37-39 instead of 21). POF never sent me a "your account has been deleted email" either.

EDIT: My accounts were deleted off their database....I was able to open another account using emails associated with the previous accounts.

EDIT #2 POF does not allow you to change your age, when you add your profile details, you will confirm your age and it will stay that way.

IP's may be individually banned - never quite tied that down.

And yes, age is fixed very shortly after you sign up.

POF is pretty weird, I registered for another account using the same screen name and email as the second account that was deleted....and I was able to get the account back. Even the previous emails were there.

POF used to let one change their age for two weeks from the day of registration, now it's "once you click accept, it stays on".

Yeah, it has creepy and fat broads. On the other hand, it lets you message 60 at a time which is pretty good.

The thing you need to remember with Markus is that he is the laziest guy in the world. Seriously, that 4 hour workweek guy was way late to Markus' party. Markus got famous mainly for being the guy who posted pix of his 6 figure checks from Google AdWords. Somebody asked about all the links for eVow & whatever? He gets paid every time you click and gets paid more if you sign up. His incentive is not having anybody get married, his incentive is to have you use the site a lot and click on the ads.

Professional programmers have spouted so much hate for PoF from a technical basis. It's sloppy, ugly, stupid code. It does so many things wrong, tech-wise. Markus basically says "scuse me? I can't hear you over all this money I'm making!" Can't argue too much with that.

Honestly, the idea of using a website for finding good relationships is stupid. If it actually worked, his userbase would evaporate because they'd all be happily married. Markus is rich because people, ESPECIALLY women, suck at choosing mates, so they keep coming back. ANY dating site is going to be best at finding superficial hookups.

Anyway I've got a great tip to get something out of those girls who are under your age restriction. On the mobile app it stills shows you girls who are say 18 or 19 that you can't contact. I've had a few girls message me but I can't message them back before because of it. Get kik messenger onto your phone, view these girls profiles that you like (some even click they want to meet you) and hit favourite. Before doing this pop your kik username at the bottom of your profile saying it's for those who can't message you on POF something like 'if you can't message me on here, hit me up on kik - (username)'

POFs filter is too strong, I was creating a profile then doing their dumb online personality survey....

when i submitted the survey the profile was banned from POF

I think they block by your pictures or something, my last profile lasted like two week and I used a new pic.
