Here is what I think:

1). This was written by a woman (my mantra lately but for good reason).

2). It was written by a woman with no understanding of how basic biology undergirds what we call sociology.

Leaving aside the fact that no man here would ever use the opening phrase of that sentence, the reason why "sluts" are a bad deal for men needs to be assessed from a biological standpoint.

The reason we view some women as "sluts" is the same reason women see poor, short, crippled, or stupid men as unworthy of breeding with. It's because as humans we're not seeing the "gender," we're seeing the POTENTIAL PARENT. We're here to reproduce and both sexes assess fitness in terms of whom can best carry on our DNA. This is close to 100 percent what attraction is based on, esp. in terms of long-term commitment.

Men avoid committing to sluts, biologically speaking, because their lessened ability to bond makes them a flight risk (bad for the kid) and their notch count makes it questionable whether the kid you'll be raising is your own (bad for the dad and, eventually, the kid).

Similarly, women don't choose certain men because while those men might be great guys, they're potentially bad dads and/or providers. No one begrudges women for this, and you don't see crippled or impoverished men forming coalitions to shame women into marrying them.

So moving back to your original point, women can text men, pay for dates...hell, they can even play football while men lead the cheers. Go team!!! But you will NEVER change the biological realities I just spoke of. I hope you and your gal-pals learned some lessons, at least, while trolling this board.

While a few others call troll - I do think it's an interesting thought exercise (and I believe maybe that is what you are approaching it as? I hope so, at the least).

On a very primal level I am unattracted to girls that have been with a lot of guys, and even girls that approach me. Girls have approached me and asked me out - a couple I have obliged - several others I have not (objectively speaking: they were at my standards - emotionally speaking: they were sub-par).

I don't think it would change the gender realities. Or if it did, it would happen across the course of centuries, not years or decades.

At a purely physical level I do not care how many guys a female has been with, as long as she is STD free.

At an emotional level when looking for a LTR or the future mother of my children I would expect her to be able to count her notches on one hand, with them all being long term relationships.

Here's the gist, OP, I'll humor your troll.

Men and women have different 'sexual value' in the marketplace.

At a baseline, men are significantly lower than women because pussy is priced much higher than dick. Most men are never going to be worth shit in the 'sexual marketplace'.

No. What I was asking was what would you all think if the social rules got to the point where roles were reversed and men no longer had to put in effort. If a girl being a slut actually became hard and took skill because us men were now getting approached so much that our massive amount of options gave us the ability to reject 90% of girls who hit on us.
