So I just turned 21 and have been taking full advantage of it. Do any of you guys go about your day kind of drunk?

I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm a self-study guy, so I'm just going about my days mildly drunk and doing the work on my own time. It didn't start out as a game thing. I just like drinking and classes are boring sober. I'm a natural introvert and just don't have the desire to socialize all that much sober.

But when I have some drinks in me, I find myself socializing with everyone on campus and girls seem to love me drunk. I even answer more questions in class and participate in discussions and shit when otherwise, I'd just be dicking around on my laptop. So the professors seem to enjoy it as well. I don't get belligerent. I just sip on 12% malt liquor throughout the day. Think Four Loko. Talk shit, but it's cheap and does the job and looks like an energy drink, so I don't have to transfer it to another container. Beers don't do much for me. Ukrainian genetics with an alcoholic bloodline and all...

I've also had really good results with a bit of Xanax and alcohol. Also throwing some Vyvanse into the mix on occasion. I'm kind of a pharma nerd. This may warrant its own thread though.

So yeah, daytime drinking, it's good shit so far. Let's discuss.

Alcohol addiction has brought down has brought down more talented people than just about anything else.

The obvious elephant is wealthy, famous people who get fat. They can get the best food and medical care, why are they fat? Answer: They can also get all the booze they want

Just off the top of my head-- Marlon Brando, Orson Welles, Jim Morrison, Val Kilmer ( Who ironically played JM is a movie)

Stay drunk a lot and you are gradually rewiring your brain so it's built-in to your life.

One whiff of alcohol on your breath from a professor and good luck getting a serious recommendation from them, ever.

Some people are genetically set up to immediately fall in love with alcohol and find it helps everything. They take the longest to realize it is taking over their life.

You sound like you're really at risk for fucking your life up and stunting you development in an important period for a long time.

This is so classic and stereotyped it might be a troll.

Like I said, it's only a few days a week. I spend most days sitting at home trading and reading and whatnot. Alcohol is a big upgrade from what I used to do for recreation. My grandpa's 80 and he drinks vodka all day. He also was lead engineer on the Baikonur Cosmodrome and at Chernobyl (I know...lol). Great grandpa was a decorated WWI vet and was drunk constantly. Lived to 95. Functional alcoholism courses through my veins. My uncle is a successful real estate guy in Ukraine and is drunk all day. My dad was a banker and was drunk all day. I'm pretty sure he was also schizo. Or maybe the KGB really was after him. Who the fuck knows. But drinking is fun dude.

I'm not gonna tell you how to live your life, Floss, and if you want to drink you're a grown up so drink all you want. But iknowexactly is right. Regular day drinking as soon as you're legally old enough to buy for yourself is kind of a red flag. Most of my friends are Euro guys who drink lightly in the afternoons and I like doing that sometimes myself, but if you drink to function that's kind of a bad sign.

Side note, as a long time experimenter of awesome drugs, xanax and booze is a pretty dangerous combination. I would recommend just about ANYTHING else with booze over xanax. Either do xanax, or drink. But doing them together can have serious consequences. I don't mean to be a fearmonger about it, just don't want you to hurt yourself.

Try it as a funny story for college but the effects of alcohol (brain, aging your body, calories) are too negative to maintain this lifestyle for too long

Nothing is harder than direct day game.. Try telling random girls in the day that they are cute and getting their numbers and other social interactions will seem easier

I know all about the synergistic effects of benzos and alcohol. I have it down to a science by now. Been messing around with pharmas since age 15.

And like I said, my entire male bloodline are functioning alcoholics. And they all live(d) great, successful, long live. If I like drinking, it's my life. Why the fuck not? I get a blood test every month and my doctor says that I'm completely healthy.

And I don't drink to function. I function just fine sober. It's just fun to do when in social situations and I don't really need to be 100% mentally when I'm in social situations. The only time when I need to be sharp is when I trade.

I've had a lot of life experience for my age and I'm, not to sound cocky, fairly attractive and have a unique style. But I'm totally an introvert. So my natural self + alcohol = social king. It's a fun feeling. It's new for me.

The problem is you don't want people to label you as "oh yeah, he's only fun when he's drunk" personality. If you want to keep going like this, you're going to have to detox your body every once in awhile. I mean no alcohol consumption for 2-3 weeks, otherwise you're just hurting yourself.

No offense, but is this a serious thread?

I'm sure just about anyone who has done some drinking in their life has been day-drunk on occasion - hell, I did it as far back as junior high - but anyone with half an ounce of common sense can see that embracing it habitually (and on purpose) to spice up everyday life is just asking for trouble. And you seem like a reasonably intelligent guy, judging by your writing.

So........are you trolling us, by any chance?

I'm a 'natural introvert' by definition.

Sometimes I don't feel like talking when I am on campus/going to classes either.

Some days of the week, besides some idle chat with someone I order food from, show my gym membership to, I don't talk to anyone all day.

It's important though that this is by choice, and not restriction.

I go out 1-2 nights a week, and try and get a few day approaches in every week. Those times I am at a social maximum.

When I go out and I made a dozen approaches a night, meet some cool girls, escalate with a few.. I'm all sober. Girls sometimes try and call bullshit on me being sober after I approach them confidently and take them for a good dance.

Give my sober game post a read. Could help you out a bit.

Sometimes when I drink, its mostly to relax after a long day, or casually shoot some talk with buddies.

Do as you please, just don't go to class drunk.

Your professors smell alcohol on you? So. As long as you're not flat out drunk or making a show it doesn't matter. Say you went to a bar for happy house lunch. There will be many professors will come across, one will eventually do your recommendation.

I'm introverted but alcohol opens me like a loose poosay, but I only drink 2-3 beers every week. It's all about moderation. Don't let it make it you dependent. Some guys take Viagra to improve their confidence, soon they can't function without it.

I have some alcoholics in my Russian family. I would suggest following a set of rules to limit the amount of alcohol you consume:

- Try not to drink more than the equivalent of 2 bottles of wine per week. This is the generally recommended limit. Exceeding it occasionally is alright, but make sure you don't exceed it every week.

Traditional Russian drinking rules are there for a reason. I'm making these up - some of them are my own, some are part of the Russian culture (the culture of non-alcoholic Russians, that is).
- Don't drink alone. I break this rule quite often, but if you drink too much then it make sense to follow it. For example, always go out to drink, hit on chicks, etc, but don't drink and stare at the wall.
- Don't drink when the sun shines. Yep, only nighttime drinking. One exception is when you're out with friends and it's hot outside, so you can have a couple of beers during the day.
- Don't drink to cure the hangover in the morning. Have some pickle brine, take aspirin, but don't drink alcohol.
- Don't drink and drive.
- Don't mix drinks. If you do, go from lower to higher %age of alcohol.
- If you drink too much, don't keep alcohol at home.

Follow these rules and you'll be a cool Eastern European guy who enjoys his drinks, not a loser alcoholic.

Switch to weed if you need a vice.

Save the liquor for when you party with chicks. Drinking to bang chicks is more than enough alcohol consumption.

Your genetics are a great asset since you have tolerance and your family can drink so much without having serious complications.

Use that power when you need it, i.e. making chicks go into party mode, and entertaining men that will help your social/business connections. To entertain yourself is a bad option. That is why God made weed. To fight off pills and booze during the day.
