Day 6

Today I ran day game on the metro train lines.

A major part of the reason why Montreal is so well reviewed is because there are so many young girls in the city center. This is due to multiple big universities within close proximity to each other. As far as sheer numbers of hotties, the only mass transit that comes close is NYC; Where I am originally from, and dislike it because it gets stinking hot down there during summertime.

Bought an all day train pass. Went from 1:00pm-4:30pm. Opened about 2 dozen girls. Asked for directions on the platforms, and on the trains. I did not get a single ignore or blowout. Most of them I just let die because they had a boyfriend, or I wasn't feeling the vibe, or language barrier. Some distinctive points I am noticing about Montreal club scene;

1. 80% of folks are a mixed group at a table /w bottle service. Usually a bf/gf couple or 2 among them.
2. 10% are wolfpacks. They almost never make approaches. They sit at their table, and run social circle game from said table.
3. 9% are 2 guys or 2 girls, without tables, looking lost & miserable.
2. I have not seen a single PUA/ pro gamer making the rounds. I guess this makes me the 1%. The only mack in the entire club rolling dolo.

It was claustrophobic. But my god these women were looking fine. Just too many perfect ass specimens on display. Lots of Armenian and Italian blood in the club tonight. Way more white washed here than the St. Laurent clubs. Bitch shields set a little higher; medium strength.

Got a txt from hb9 brunette while at the club. Tells me the reason she flaked after getting so close was that our age difference was too much for her (35/23), and that she doesn't want kids until after 30, and after she makes partner, and that it wouldn't be fair to me. Day 7

Day date today from an earlier in the week # close. Blonde 7. Insecure personality. She lives in the suburbs, and took the train downtown to meet me. Works at a video store. Didn't know those still existed. She has a cute face. Body is a little on the meatier side than I'd prefer, but day 7 with no bangs I am getting less picky. We walk back toward my place arm in arm. At this point we have run out of conversation topics. Along the way I detour us through a park, but she is fighting my leading with her body language. I stop us near a tree. Pull her in for a hug/kiss, but I feel resistance. Feeling rejected, I keep walking us to my house for a hail mary. I do not have the will to long game a feminist 7. Get to my place, and yet another one will not come up the stairs. I try to overcome her objections about 13 different ways, but she's not having it. She tells me to give her a call tomorrow. We're here now. Why put off to tomorrow what we can do today? Eventually I just turn around and go up the stairs alone.

Delete her number. Throw on a button down, and head out to Tokyo Bar. The weather is too shitty to haul down to Newtown near Crescent st.

Immediately upon entry spot an adorable Italian/Israeli looking curly hair beauty by the bar, with a horrid goblin friend in tow. Curly girl is a sweetheart. We bond over travel stories, judaism, and mutual love for salsa dancing. Friend is predictably, a troll. Luckily I am able to # close raven haired beauty while goblin was talking to the bartender. Just in time too, before goblin girl pulled her away from me.

Head to the upstairs rooftop bar. Sit down across from a couple of hb8 redhead barbie *twins*. I open with "are you guys twins"? They are. My game is super tight and funny. I loose them amid the packed crowd, as I get caught up watching an epic dance battle between a black & asian dude. I feel like I am watching "Step up the the streets - Montreal". It's so awesome. These guys were creative as hell. I am inspired to step up my own dancefloor game. Along with my French, Russian, and a zillion other things I want to learn. Eventually the black guy is declared winner, after the asian kid resorts to street fighter II dance moves.

Turn back to the other part of the bar. To my horror, both barbie twins are now getting tongued down on the dancefloor by 2 other brothers. Dudes were observing from the shadows while we were dancing. Straight cherry picked my set. Super pissed now. Robbed of my jessica rabbit, I seek revenge through grinding the rest of the club girls. Sadly, none of their buying temp is sexual enough. All are just having a good playful time with friends. I bounce early; 2:00am, and grab some late night thai. The pad thai is money at least.

Best moment of the night? Seeing the barbie twins walking home to their car from the club alone. Selfish perhaps, but knowing that the dudes who cherry picked my hard work could not close, and went home empty handed made me feel great

BTW, did you ever make it to Arahova? The gyros/souvlakis there are really good....you can bring your own wine too I think. Actually a lot of restaurants around St. Laurent and Le Plateau have this option, think you pay a small corkage feel - Montreal seemed to always be good about that, not sure about what it's like these days.

This is what I have been trying to say for a long time on here.

Montreal is a somewhat baffling city. It "seems" on paper that it would be easy. The venues are well set up, the last call time is reasonable, there are fly girls in heels and dresses at the right spots, guys are friendly and places are easy to lock down.

However, you roll out there, spit mammoth Game, have The California ID, talk to fly girls, kiss girls, have a great time and then you all of a sudden are walking home solo.

Then you are like "what the f*ck happened? I should be swooping?".

You are doing the right things. And it will happen for you, but it is a drawn out bloody affair.

I have swooped some really fly girls in Montreal, but when I think about it I probably should have swooped three to four times as many girls.

I don't really know what it is. It could be as simple as I am not exactly what girls are looking for in Montreal.

In my experience you need:

1. A Bankroll to sustain a night after night attack.
2. Impeccable venue selection.
3. Dope wardrobe. Custom. Hand-stitched. Not any of that mall crap.
4. Strong stamina for night after night boozing.
5. Numbers Game.
6. French language Game.
7. Strong Reputation and Street Credibility.
8. Ability to Lock Down Venues air-tight.
9. Controlled Mayhem like Ricardo Mayorga VS Vernon Forrest.
10. Ability to Innovate Forward Thinking Fresh Game Moves on the fly.

Essentially, you need to really bring the noize. A lot of people "claim" Montreal is easy, but one will notice whenever I press them for details like where they are going they fold up real quick like a bad hand.

Sure you can get "lucky" there as with anywhere. But are you going to rip down fly girls night after night in Montreal like you can in some American cities? No shot. I would be shocked if someone can do that.

I personally have spit some of the best Game of my life in Montreal and I have a pretty spotty track record in my own personal assessment of myself.

When you do swoop a fly girl there it seems so easy. But you can do the right things night after night and come up empty handed.

All in all, acquisition cost is pretty high in Montreal.

One has to determine if it is worth it to them.

If you want "easy", you are more likely to find that in America.

Some questions for you:

How are you picking your venues? You seem to have a pretty good grasp of the place for being there only a week. It took me some serious time and money to figure out the dope spots.

How are you meeting so many super young girls? I rarely meet 18 year olds at night. But most of the girls I swoop there are on the younger side of things, more like 23-27.

Because girls will open & chat you so effortlessly here, it is easy to Backslide into Beta . Caught myself after the first few days. Then got back to spitting game proper. I was going to comment on Courage's third point about girls being harder to bring home. It's definitely not easy.

Getting the ONS is not impossible but, I think it's harder to do solo. I know a lot of guys are keen on doing things solo but I recommend hitting MTL with a solid crew. My friends and I have had more success doing group game there than solo game. The reason being is a lot of these (fly) chicks roll in large crews that are impossible to penetrate while solo dolo. Even if they like you, the attraction won't be strong enough to prevent the cockblock. Any time I've seen chicks in pairs (smaller sets), they were college chicks who aren't even old enough to drink in the States but can drink at bars in Canada. These chicks by and large are a waste of time. They'll give you the number or even a makeout but when you try to schedule a meetup you won't hear from them again. Happened more times than I wished to remember (something I mentioned in my MTL data sheet).

Also, dinner dates (resto game) in some cases will be necessary to closing with a chick. This is a popular thing to do in MTL. Girls like to meet at restos as opposed to bars more often than not. You may need enough time in the city to hang out with a chick 2-3 times (if she's fly). Practically you're in the beginning stages of a relationship. Make up the reason for why you're there if you have to (read the vibes they're giving you). This is more believable if you have a spot through airbnb. If you're with friends, say they're biz partners or just visiting you for the first time. Even though this approach is time intensive, the good news is a lot of these chicks will insist on either paying or going dutch. Girls in MTL typically have no qualms about going their own way.

Ultimately, it's a numbers game and the good news is there's tons of chicks around so there's no shortages for approaching. You'll need a lot of energy and solid logistics to be at the right place at the right times and execute. If you're rolling with a crew, make sure they're "credentialed." Montreal is not for rookies.

Day 8

Caught a cold. Aching muscles. Laid up in bed almost the whole day. Wanted to die. Almost threw up multiple times, but couldn't quite do it. Hot & cold flashes. As a Quebec City fellow who's lived in Montreal for a few years, I approve of this thread.
Only now do I realize how good we have it compared to Toronto or DC folks. Kind of, anyway.

Quebec City will be easier I think, but don't expect a huge city, of course.. If you go over there, check out the old town and the 'Grande Allée'. I think Quebec C offers you a possibility of developing a case of priapism. For venues, 'Bars de chansonniers' are good too, in Montreal try 'Les 2 pierrots'. I could give other places, but they probably closed down by now, or renamed. Main venue in QC is 'Le Dagobert' on Grande Allée.

Sadly, only know the English Montreal, I'm oblivious to the French part. Something I must fix pronto upon my returning there. This one time in French territory, through social circle game a girl literally invited herself over to my bed. I just had to show up and bring a modicum of intelligence along that evening.

lol, I just returned from a weekend in Montreal yesterday. Everything said here is 100% accurate. I was like WTF. WE had masses and masses of girls on seperate occasions, dancing all on us, makeouts and all to an unreal degree. Then it was like at the end of the night.. They all vanished. From my experience, it seems as though, the begining stages are rediculously easy,(approach, esculation, ect) then the middle ground is where the challange is(getting them actually home). I felt like the cheata in a flock who couldnt focus on one..leading to emptry handedness. Beyond as shadow of a doubt, If you got that far(make-out or further) with that many girls you would be banging a few in the US. Fuck...even in DC.

Fond memories of that place...got my French flag after starting out at that place with the girl. Seem to remember it was a lot of fun and sort of a crazy atmosphere with the singers and people chanting, singing etc. Funny but 15+ years ago Vieux Montreal was nowhere near as lively as it is now and had relatively few places to hang out and sort of shut down late night. As I understand now it's much more happening.

Dude, SECRETES??? WTF are you talking about. didnt you live there? You would know that we couldnt descover anything in a weekend. Its a 3-4 block strip with bars and clubs. I dont go with plans to go to certain venues. We just went were we saw the crowd. We hit main stream places like musique, and tokyo, but also small bars as well. I DONT REMEMBER. I could see if there was a secret area.. But its St Laurent... The STREET was packed wit targets on fri & sat.

Courage - I chuckled reading the terms "cardboard box" and "Bill Cosby." You're a good writer. Do you write for ROK? If not, you should consider it if you have the time. You describe the encounters you have with girls in a detailed and authentic way. This life isn't for everyone and you convey that well. I appreciate the bare all approach to your challenges and successes while on the road. This is another positive innovation to the data sheet a la Vicious (I think). The whole introspective running narrative while spending time in a city. Much more useful I think. Really makes the data more credible.

Wow. Thanks for the kind words. I never thought about writing articles about this stuff. It means a lot to hear that though.

I haven't updated lately because I've been feeling sick as a dog. I could hardly think about getting up, much less going out. Combination of room spinning, head throbbing, about to hurl but never quite happens type sick. This wasn't supposed to happen in north america. Am feeling a little better now, so I'll write about the hospital. Afraid I've lost track of the days.

So I dragged myself to the clinic day after the Romanian bang (@gmanifesto, that one was a cupid girl). The security guard no inglay, so I used Google Translate to say; "Feel sick. Need drugs". I waited for an hour and half in the lobby in a row of blue chairs. Old ass frenchman with a cane, busted nose, and what could only be described as the stench of leprosy busts into the lobby. Homeboy is *holding court* in the emergency room. He is chatting up everyone/ coughing in their faces. Most of the room is utterly repulsed, but a few are laughing at his antics. Then he sits down...right next to me.

I mean. There was an entire row of other blue chairs he could have chosen. He tries to chat me in french. I am feeling more nauseous by the minute. An hour or 2 goes by. I loose all sense of time. There is some French show about flowers on the tv. New security guard takes over. He notices me spazzing out in the lobby. Comes over. I start to type into google translate, but he asks me what's wrong in English. I tell him I need to see the doc, please. He tells me I am seated in the WRONG COLOR chair section. I have to be seated in purple to get seen.

Move like a corpse over to purple. Sit there for another 2 hours. French zombie man follows me. I make a motion with my hands for him to not talk to me, but he keeps pointing to my orange drink. He's asking if I'm fin? Tell him go nuts bro. Zombie man finishes my orange drink.

*finally* nurse calls my name. Tells me I look like hell. I thank her for her powers of observation, and ask to see a man who can prescribe drugs. Takes blood pressure, gives choke stick, all the rest of it. Tells me to go sit *in the blue chair* section, a doctor will be right with me.

2 more hours go by at the hospital. Free health care is great, eh? Zombie man is still saying slurred things to me in French I do not understand. At one point I made a bad life decision and looked at him directly. His nose was literally falling off to the side. It is being held onto his face by an old band aid. Horrifed I look down, place my face in my palms, and pray this is all a bad dream.

Another hour. They call me name again. [email protected] I wobble over to the window. "Monsieur? Do you have a medical card?" Nope. "ok, let's see...to see the doctor today will be $1005."

Come again?

Front desk girl then scolds me for not getting my medical card. I want to say something smart, but my head is too hot and aching for words to come out. My brain is fixated on the extra $5. I imagine kicking the ass of the cheeky hospital administrator is who got a laugh out of dissuading would-be tourist paitents $1005 a visit instead of just extorting a straight G.

I try multiple angles around the fee, but no dice. Eventually I offer the girl I will pay $100, and take her to dinner later. Not even a laugh. They give me an old map showing the location of a clinic 20 blocks from my current location, however it's closed today, and I can't make an appointment because it's walk in only. I actually consider paying the $1005 for a moment. Then I imagine if I were a caveman. I stand up, get myself together, and make it out of the hospital on my own 2 feet.

I'm exit the hospital. Walking through the parking lot. I hear shrieks of "Monsieur! ...Monsieur! ...

Monsieur!"

Turn my head. To zero surprise, zombie man is waving at me. He is laughing maniacally. This time though, has a hot brown haired blue eyed cougar fixing his face bandage. He has his arm around her waist, palming her ass. He is cheering me on through my slow walk through the parking lot, while his 30-40 y/o younger wife/gf is fussing over his face. Game recognized, zombie man.

It was easily the worst vacation day I've had in my entire life. But I learned a valuable lesson. No matter how bad it gets. 90% of the world can think you're an asshole. Fuck, your nose can be falling off. But if you've still got a little game, and a lot of attitude, you can still pull a hot piece of ass to put it back on for you. RT.

Nice Montreal writeup! too bad about the hospital. With regards to your Going Nomad post, one reason why some people suggested a place like montreal or berlin to start is so that when stuff come up you can deal with it without excessive drama. Here there was a minor language barrier, but in Romania or something what do yo do? the only time I got really sick from food poisoning I flew home (it was like 2 hours)! Then the base city helps out, because it's close, and there you might have health insurance and a kindly babe who will come make soup and for you while you convalesce.

I usually don't get travel insurance, but it's only like $35 for 90 days I think. Also I always travel with my personal first aid kit of Tylenol, aspirin, B-Complex vitamins (strongest I can find), Band Aids and a few other things here and there. B-Complex helps you avoid this sickness you get after many days of non-stop drinking, partying and not sleeping enough. I just take those every day as a preventative.

Otherwise, in Europe at least, when you hit the doctor without insurance, I've never seen it cost more than 150EUR and that's for a private English speaking clinic. In most countries you can just walk in the pharmacy, tell them the symptoms and they will give you something that will get you through (they have to study for a couple of years to work in there, so they do know something). The stuff the doctor prescribes will be stronger, but unless it's antibiotics it might not make too much difference.
