I've had some great experiences here in Brazil too. But it's just over-hyped in terms of quality of girls and easiness of getting with them - that's all!

Especially in the South where as a white guy you don't even stand out, I don't think you get any bonus points.

I love it here in many ways and I'd consider living in the South or SE of Brazil. But don't fly in for a few weeks and expect new pussy every night.

I've been popping around from place to place and done decently, but yeah, there are no shortcuts here with the prettiest girls.

What's the strategy for quality girls in brazil? Take the number or try make out in the club?
For northeast of brazil, quality is bad. South is good, but hard.
I go out in sao paulo and usually spend around 200 reais a night. Considering most people are queuing even to get a minimum wage job here, the price is too high. If you want a decent second hand car its double the price as many countries. Taxis are expensive, and you have no choice as city is so big.

I would say its easy to make out with girls in clubs, if that's your thing.
You need max 5 min to kiss close.

Yeah it definitely takes extended time to get access to the best gals without built-in leads. Still would be fun to visit for the learning experience and to once again "build leads" for future trips. Brazil is typically a place people fall in love with as many including myself started pondering future itineraries in the middle of my first one.

True...without fluent Portuguese & time...pretty tough proposition. As an Asian myself, I had trouble standing out in Curitiba as the state of Parana has the 2nd largest Asian population in the country. I was a little more "exotic" in Belo Horizonte, Rio, and Porto Alegre though. My ONS in CWB was from a small town girl in Santa Catarina who moved there for work as she "opened me" with the slanted eye gesture yet was curious about me.

Yeah it most definitely takes time to learn each place. Only thing you can do is to have fun with that learning process, but watch out for the seductive cues as they come unexpectedly.

I didn't find Chilean girls to be ugly. Not genetically ugly anyway. Just not very sexy in vibe or style for the most part. I think "plain Janes" might describe them better than ugly. Yeah, I have had lots of success with day game, insta-dates, meeting girls at night, etc.

I think diversity-wise, Brazil is better. In terms of the girls being friendly, both in my opinion are fine. Being Brazilian you should do well. Colombia and Brazil in my opinion are also the most friendly for North Americans as they tend to generally like them, not like in Argentina and Ecuador where they think Americans are by definition puppet masters out to screw the rest of the world. Canadians probably fare better.

I spent 6 months in Colombia and 2 months in Brazil. I would say Colombian girls are slightly prettier but flaky, irresponsible and disrespectful. Many golddiggers. Brazilian girls are more simple, straight forward, honest and friendly. No Colombian girl ever hit on me. Brazilians did in clubs. But Brazil is so expensive, I dont like their language, many things are weird - not being able to buy things online without cpf, taxes, etc...Its hard to live in Brazil, unless you have a lot of money, speak portuguese and have patience. How would Argentina fair against Columbia and Brazil. I guess since Argentina is much less diverse then the other countries you would have a foreigner factor but at the same time I hear Argentina girls are very cautious of their status and might not want to be seen with a foreigner. For those that have been to Argentina was your foreign factor a negative or positive? And is there a certain type of group they are most interested in? Do they look up to american/hollywood culture like other countries or are they very nationalistic preferring their own country?

I also hear Argentina is much safer then the other countries so that is a decent positive.

Last year I had 4, 5 brazilians approaching me and complimenting my looks. Made out with 4, nearly sealed the deal with the first 8 I could have ever pull in life, and got one brazilian flag with a somewhat nice 6. The last time I experienced this ease with women was when I was 16 in Medellin when there were no tourists around 2006. It was heaven. Brazilians girls are direct, sexy, horny, some are pretty femenine and are into masculine men. I love brazilian women more than colombian women. Bear in mind I have awful logistics, newbie game and still some lack of confidence with women sometimes and some social skills ot improve.

Hi guys, just saw this thread. Will add my insights as a Brazilian that lived for some months in Colombia due to a job last year (was based in Medellin, but also knew other parts of the country). Will aproach some pros and cons regarding quality of life and girls in both countries in my perspective:


Quality of life

BRAZIL

Pros:

Diversity - Continental size and rich immigration history provides a huge diversity regarding nature (cold mountains in South, mix of beaches and mountains in Southeast, caribbean-like beaches in Northeast, Amazonian Forest, etc) and people (european descendents in South, africans in Northeast, indians in North, etc).

Cosmopolitan - Metropolis such as Rio and Sao Paulo offers pretty much anything and anytime regarding cuisine, culture, shopping, nightlife.

Tourism infrastructure - Lots of things to do and places to visit all around the country with plenty of hotels and transportation options.

Friend-oriented society - People are focused in having fun with their friends in their free time. So expect always bars full of people, lots of parties to go and a nice offer of social events to attend.

Cons:

Cost - Expensive as hell. Renting a nice pad in a good location in Rio or Sao Paulo will cost 4x or 5x the minimum wage here. Also very expensive to eat or drink out (specially if compared to other Latam countries).

Dangerous - Dangerous as hell, specially nowadays. Crime rates are higher than never (mix of unemployment, state police bankrupt and laws that don´t punish efficiently), and the most common crimes are armed robbery against pedestrians and cars, and they don´t think twice about shooting you, some times even if you give them everything. Tourist areas in general have a stronger police presence, so the probability of a tourist staying for a couple weeks getting robbed is not that high.

Leftist society - Feminism, racism, homophobia... Expect tons of bullshit discussion here (the congress is more focused in discussing if a 6 year old kid shoul learn in school that same sex marriage is OK than discussing the 60,000 yearly homicides).


COLOMBIA

Pros:

Cost - Very cheap if compared to Rio. Bogotá tends to be a bit more expensive, but nothing compared to any Brazilian cities.

Friendly people - People are very warm and opened to know foreigners and make you feel good, specially in Medellin.

Honest people - Didn´t have a single scam situation by the ¨average Colombian¨(I mean those that you encounter in normal daily routine, not those in Parque Lleras trying to sell coke) during almost 7 months in Colombia. People seem to be very honest and have good attittude in general (are always thinking in other people´s shoe, don´t throw garbage in the streets, etc)

Conservative society - Guys are guys, girls are girls, good people are good people, bad people are bad people. Just like that.

Cons:

Small town vibe - Even in Bogota, restaurants close early, you don´t have a big offer of things to do in general (cuisine, bars, culture).

Family-oriented society - Enjoying you free time is sinonym of staying with your family. Some times that sucks. In holidays, for example, people disappear from the streets!



Girls

BRAZIL

Pros:

Easiness - Paradise of ONS. Girls want to fuck and will fuck when they go out!

Direct - In the first 10 seconds talking to a girl, her body language will make it clear if she´s in yours or not. Asking a girl out for a drink is a sinonym of wanting to fuck her. So, if she accepts, you know what to wait for...

Party lovers - They love drinking and dance. Single girls enjoy their free time going to bars or parties, getting drunk and dancing. Surely know how to have fun.

Great curves and nice ass - Mixed DNA provides girls a curvy body. Expect decent size asses, the bests I´ve ever seen in the world.

Excelent in bed - They do basically everything without having to ask. Average Brazilian girl fuck as a pro and want you to be rude and agressive in bed (saying she´s a whore, slapping on the face, etc).

Cultural level - Girls in general can sustain a good conversation. With exception of the very poor, they usually have a good education and travels a lot to US and Europe, so are used to western culture in general.

Cons:

Fat girls - Diet here, specially among poor people, sucks. Lots of carbos and fast food. So the number of fat girls is increasing significantly in the last years.

Feminism - Also increasing, along with other leftist values in the society in general. But as it´s a huge country, you can still find a decent amount of ¨normal¨ girls.

Difficult to open - As I said, Brazilian girls are very direct in what they want with you. But it also means that she will be a bitch if she doesnt like you. And forget about opening with random girls in the street, they will see you like an akward pervert.


COLOMBIA

Pros:

Quality - Never seen so many beautiful girls IN AVERAGE as in the strees of Medellin. Really cute!

Thin - Very very difficult to spot a fat girl anywhere in Colombia. They tend to be very thin (always showing a piercing on the belly whenever have an opportunity) with good and firm tits (fake or not).

Feminine - Girls really feminine, with sexy clothes, make up and feminine body language.

Friendly - Very easy to open, anytime, anywhere. Getting her number wont be difficult. Daygaming is very easy due to that.

Cons:

Very difficult to ONS - Conservative catholic society in it´s maximum. Girls hardly even kiss in the first encounter. That was a huge shocking for me, as Im used to Brazilian slutiness.

Nightgame - Simply TERRIBLE. Girls go out with lots of male friends, almost impossible to spot 2 or 3 girls alone. Hot girls not opened to dancing or talking to people they dont know. It´s easier with poor or lower quality girls, but not worth it, in my opinion.

Flaky - Another thing VERY difficult to get used to, even for Brazilian standards. If you get a girls phone number, you´ll arrange a date and she will never show, saying some stupid excuses such as a sick relative or something like that. Really annoying.

Culture level - Even educated girls seem very shallow. Difficult to sustain any deeper conversation, only silly jokes and pop culture talks.

Ass - As Brazilian, I like girls ass a lot. And that disappointed me a lit bit. Their Andean DNA contributes to a small, flat ass in average. They try to compensate it by implanting fake ass, but usually its exagerated, so its even worse.

I have not been to Brazil, but I have been to Colombia. Saying Colombian girls have flat asses is a bit harsh. Perhaps coming from Brazil your standards in terms of ass are too high? (not many girls can compete with Brazilians in the ass department). If you really want to see flat asses come to Australia! A lot of good info in your post, thanks for the comparison. I wrote about Colombian ass conscious that someone could find it harsh… But as I wrote everything in a comparative basis and I personally found it a little disappointing when I went there, I thought it would be fair to mention it.

And don´t get me wrong: Some Colombians have PERFECT asses! Especially those that focus on having it by going to the gym on a regular basis or having a discrete good shaped butt implant (the vast majority of butt implants are deformed and exaggerated). As those girls are the hot ones that get our attention in the media or even in the nightlife, they´re the “hot Latina” stereotype we have from Colombia.

But the AVERAGE Colombian have a small and flat ass. Some times, when I walked down the streets in Medellin, came some model with really cute face, beautiful hair, big tits, incredible belly and long legs, love at first sight! But when she passed through me and I turned around to check her backwards, there was this small and shapeless ass... lol... The exception is the coast (Cartagena, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, etc), where the African ancestry is stronger. By what I´ve seen in trips to Peru and Ecuador, my conclusion is that flat ass is a characteristic from the Andes and Amazonia region DNA.

It´s basically the opposite of Brazil, where girls from most of the country are born with that decent, middle sized, round shaped ass (coincidentally, the ones from the Brazilian Amazonia region are the worst regarding ass). So, the AVERAGE Brazilian girl have a very nice natural ass, unless they ruin it through bad diet and extreme sedentary life (which is by the way increasing in big cities, not too much in 2nd tier or smaller towns).


Regarding day game in Brazil, unfortunately it´s not part of our culture. Gaming is always associated with social situations with booze, mostly bars, clubs and parties. The exceptions to acceptable day game should be:
1) Carnival time, basically because everyone is drunk since earlier hours and girls are supposed to make out randomly.
2) Beaches during summer (since early December up to Carnival). Some of them attract a very young crowd (eg: Ipanema and Barra in Rio de Janeiro), girls get drunk and become in the mood of knowing new people.
3) Bars and pubs. Brazilians like to go to bars very early during the weekend (popular bars tend to be crowded since lunchtime Saturday and Sunday). The right ones are those that host live music or that have tall tables for standing people. Lots of sets of 2 or 3 girls, usually the ratio is very good, and they´re very easy to approach in this situation.
4) Parties and events held during day time. Common especially during summer.
5) Any daily routine situation IF (and only IF) the girl strongly indicates she´s on you (heavy eye contact, smiling a lot, etc). It´s uncommon to happen, but as I said, Brazilian girls are direct, she will be probably DTF if she does that.

Both countries are indeed very good and fun to visit, they are my top picks among all South America for a tourist trip (beautiful girls, wonderful nature, rich culture, good music, etc).
