Questions to gauge a girl's nature
Can you suggest a few questions that can help in gauging a girl's characteristics, such as:
Self perception
Neediness
Openness to sexual topics etc.

RE: Questions to gauge a girl's nature
1) Have any crazy ex-boyfriends? (not field tested, just an idea, although I did ask a flirtatious stewardess if she'd had problems with drunk customers)
Why: If they think they do, or really do have crazy exes, it means they're poor judges of character, or crazy themselves-- so they drove an otherwise nice guy to insanity. Or she's looking for brutal assholes.

The good thing about this one is that women feel entitled to dish on guys, so you're giving her a chance to indict herself and she'll eagerly take it if she's crazy/bitchy.

Your implicit criticism is of the exes, not her, so it gets under her radar.

You might get an inkling of notch count, too, the pause as her hamster sifts through 1042 records of fucking guys. If her count's not disgusting , and none of them were insane, her pause should be pretty short before she smiles and says "no". IF she's not just hiding and has nothing bad to say, she might be -- gasp--psychologically healthy.

EDIT: I've got maybe a better one! Make it a leading question " HOW MANY of your exes was crazy?"

2) What kind of work does your (parents then dad) do?

Critical for a good relationship girl is that she:

1) Likes, and
2) Admires her father.

Both. If he's a welder, she should think he'a good one. You can just tell by the expression on her face as she talks about him ( and tone of voice) how she feels about him. Also, if she fucking KNOWS what he does is relevant.

I met one hipster chick who was very blasé about her father, didn't seem to feel much for him, and didn't even actually know what he did. Parents were long divorced. Bad sign for relationship.

If she's flat out negative forget LTR, soon she will see him, but he will have your face.

You never know their true nature, that is why they are called Lizards.

What if her father is someone who doesn't deserve admiration?

Short answer: She'll probably, somehow, find a way to fuck up your relationship-- leave, bitch, cheat, drink, drug, be a feminist-- whatever.

Complex answer:
First, this is about father figure. If bio-dad was a pump-and-dumper, and she never saw him but had a nice beta stepdad, that's different.

But she still probably inherited some personality from that guy who didn't take care of his kids....

( And I think stupid women that have kids with disappearing dads usually keep seeking out distant guys later. )

Worst case, I'm talking about an asshole type guy who was around, being mean and disappointing her.

The theory in that case is that she will then likely have a deeply ingrained negative image/expectation of men; and will tend to perceive you in that way-- group you in with all those bad guys.

Since her first learning about how to deal with men was learning how to deal with an asshole, she will always tend toward expecting that and treating you like you are an irresponsible, mean guy.

==

This is why traditionally, anyone with divorced parents was considered to be risky relationship material, until victimology became rampant.

Just because it wasn't your fault, if your family history fucked you up it still is a burden on others who have to deal with you unless you heroically turn it around.
