Zanesville versus Monte Carlo
I thought about answering this question in the travel forum. But I haven't been to Monaco in a while (for the Grand Prix auto racing), and it is really a broader issue. Roosh addressed it
Second-Tier Cities

One of our California residents dissed the mid-Western town of Zanesville, apparently unaware that it is driving distance from a beach.

Zanesville is only around 120 miles from the Sandusky Beach.
How does Zanesville compare to say, Monaco in summer time?

Or Sandusky Beach VS Monte Carlo?

Which is better for an "average guy with average game"?

While there is a small man-made beach, Monte Carlo is definitely not a beach town. It originated as a sanctuary due to the rocky coastline. There is definitely a harbor with many luxury boats.

It isn't much larger than Zanesville or Sandusky (35K versus 25K population). There are bus tours and tons of souvenir shops. You need to pay, show I.D., and meet the dress code for the main casino. They have the same Rolls Royce parked outside every night, and shills pretending to gamble with house money. The smaller casinos are not as pretentious, but not busy either. I believe that Monte Carlo residents can't legally gamble in the casinos. So you have a logistical nightmare of picking up tourists without knowing whether they are staying in France or Italy. The local residents live there part-time for tax reasons, and are unlikely to mingle.

On top of this, hotels are expensive, Monte Carlo is a bit inaccessible, and there is not a lot to do. Young, single girls cannot afford the expensive hotels. I didn't see a nightclub scene. I don't see how to penetrate the local social circle - get a profile on MonteCarloCupid?

It would be better, easier, and cheaper to go to Cannes, a larger city like Nice, or the naked city of Cape d'Agde. They would be the local versions of Sandusky. I would take a second-tier city instead of an overhyped tourist trip like Monte Carlo any day. There are more single women, they will be more available, with less bitch shields and better logistics.

I've written here before about a pussy belt in that area.

Red outlined area is the poon belt the yellow is a hot zone.

Now, about the mentality...

Ohio people are entitled as fuck and usually have one breadwinner per household working for GM or some place. They live in big houses and the girls live at home longer than most places and don't really work that hard..

They have a lot of time to take care of themselves..

Also there's a huge bar culture leftover from the steel era. Buckets of mini gennys for 5 bucks etc. Really cheap booze and busy brick hole in the wall places to pull from. Also some above average chain game there..TGIs, Chilis.

Internet dating for sexy rich girls is equivalent to finding a person who saves cocaine.

Not sure what your definition of "beach town" is, but Monaco fits mine:

Zanesville on the other hand, does not:

I was actually surprised to see some people not meeting the dress code that I thought there was.

I think it is not strictly enforced earlier in the day, but I am not 100%.

Then you missed it.

The hottest girls I saw in The French Riviera were in Monaco.

No question.

EL M,

Wow - I just went out on Saturday night in the hot zone. Tell me why you think it's such a hot zone/your experience with that area. Would love to go out with you sometime if you're ever in the area. I'm recovering and would love to soak up some knowledge.

You hit the nail on the head about the steel era and the cheap booze. Some old people in this area still talk about the steel mills coming back - the era is over old man, no longer will high school dropouts make double the national wage, get over it!

When I have friends come in from out of town to drink here they can't believe how cheap it is. Buckets of domestics for $5 or $6 is the norm. $1 drink night still happens from time to time and was a staple for a looooong time.

I always tell people that even though the population is small and the economy is **** here, we have some talent.

I was out in the Warren area. Place is crawling high nice talent. There are all kinds of young, good looking chicks in that area. There's a couple universities not far from there, and the chicks seem to always congregate in a couple of places.

Thanks concerning the name. I always thought that saying was funny, and it seems appropriate for a recovering beta. Can't tell you how many times I look back on opportunities where chicks were throwing themselves at me but my insecurities and lack of knowing how women communicate held me back from making a move.

I've always been fascinated by this -- anyone had success/experience with the Amish? Seems like a tough one, but also a good challenge. I was up in Lancaster, PA a year ago and saw a few Amish women hanging out at a Starbucks, but didn't quite have the opportunity to approach as I was just driving by.

Maybe this should be a whole new topic -- Amish game!

See that? We went full circle. Don't be afraid to peek your head in any hotel bars up there, the few.

My thoughts..

All hot girls in that area have to go to Boardman to stay hot.

Do you ever go to any real shitholes? Campbell, Struthers etc?

^ lol yep.

That is why theG wrote "I like this thread"

People with his high level insecurity/anger can't hold it in, he's just incredibly good at trolling. One of the more advanced stealth trolls on the board. Rep points and everything. The mentioning of California was particularly clever so he knew el mech would at least chime in.

This level of emotional negativity has significant long term issues. He has spent hours trying to figure out who theG is and would love for nothing more than to expose him, or even me for that matter because his level of insecurity is that high. The want and need to "take someone down and ruin them" is actually what is making his own inner game worse.

On that note, my favorite part was the passive aggressive I am smarter than you stab

"Apparently unaware that it is driving distance from a beach" insinuating theG can't use google maps.... But then steals one of g's tag lines with a pun on OkCupid if you don't get how funny beyond belief that is I don't know what to tell you. That's why I highlighted it in bold. Lol!

Laugh2

Monte Carlo is over-hyped. Maybe it was a cool gambling place back in the Grace Kelly era. But now it is just a tax haven for wealthy Europeans and a tacky souvenir shop for bus tourists. I'm still waiting for anyone else to drop a datasheet on Monte Carlo. There are larger, natural, topless beaches in France that are cheaper and more accessible.

That's my point - some places are overhyped. The recent Vegas thread was illuminating because it showed how forum members can use the wrong strategy and strike out in Vegas. Some of the Vegas fans reported getting drunk and chasing hookers and strippers. Hype leads people to spend a lot of money and go for the wrong strategy. There are women in every city. Second-tier cities like Sandusky and Zanesville offer significant advantages in cost and accessibility.

Again, I'm waiting for a datasheet on Monte Carlo if anyone cares to educate me on an effective strategy for pipelining yacht parties.

Can't say I know any of the past history with you guys, but yeah, that def seems unnecessary

Seems unbecoming of men supposedly dedicated to self-improvement and sharing to engage in petty attempts at stealth trolling, as Westcoast put it.

I'm learning something new every day here

Thankfully at least most of it is value added (esp. from the higher rep posters)

RE: Zanesville versus Monte Carlo
^ you got it mostly right. Not everyone here truly knows what self improvement means at its core though.

You're a smart guy since you picked up on the passive aggressive thread, if anyone else really believes this thread is about zanesville versus Monaco... I have a bunch of aids infected used tampons to sell you.

Hell I have even got in it with theG and other guys here but we will speak directly to one another.

You can go through all the threads he starts regarding game it's all the same, some sort of game denialism or negative personality/tone spin followed by a "no no no I meant this instead of THIS" when really you read it right the first time.

Basically take note of all the people trying to "out" people as frauds and write them down you'll notice they are the least valuable in terms of your growth as a man. Always easier to start flame fests in a passive aggressive manner than actually use the said tips in the field and try them out.

Finally to put the nail in the coffin on this being a passive aggressive troll. In the OP he links to an article to second tier cities so he could have just bumped either of them.

/thread-1495-page-3.html

/thread-3258.html

Or you know simply dropped a data sheet on Monte Carlo to get the ball rolling since he also state's in the OP that he has been there.

I know people that live in those towns - dated a chick from Struthers in college - but haven't been to bars in those specific towns. I do frequent Niles though. I've Ben to just about every town in a 50 mile radius and been to vars all over the area. Love the bars in Niles. People are super chill and chicks are cute.

Have a coffee date with the Boardman chick tomorrow.

Weird to hear someone talk about the area being that its small and amongst the rust belt.
