Will eventually these billionares stop marrying every 20 years, or is a small settlement (prenup of course) not a big deal. Marriage is def as must to look legit, but wouldnt the rich and powerful not see the need to keep up appearances, can't they change the narrative?

The article is quite hamsterish, especially when describing how great Wendi Deng is/was:

Yeah - this divorce is announced two days before his company gets split in two. Sounds like a tax dodge.

Anyway - Murdoch lost a billion in his first divorce. So - I hope he got lawyered up before his second marriage.

I guess the billionare's adage is: Marriage in community property state before IPO (Facebook), Divorce before corporate spin-off. I don't know what tax he'd be dodging. Must of Murdoch's stock is in offshore trusts set up decades ago, plus spin offs are usually tax free transactions. Probably some complex shit nobody knows about until the politicans financed by these oligarch ban the loopholes so newer rich can't use them (http://www.forbes.com/sites/janetnovack/...re-trusts/):

How many yachts can you water ski behind. Billionaires can be beyond caring about money if they want. He could have a different 18 YO hooker every HOUR if he wanted.

Who knows what the actual reason is. If she's 44 and they have teenage daughters, then he married her just before she started really getting old.

Sure, the rules are different for the super rich but I don't like this. Marriage should be for life barring major differences or extenuating circumstances.

Murdoch is now beyond needing to have a wife for legitimacy. He's in his 80s, and long ago established himself as a businessman. I guess men in his position like having a partner around, and it's less awkward when attending functions. He should roll with girlfriends from now on.

Chinese women that were born in China are loyal. Their loyalty is similar to genital herpes.

American Chinese women usually have an American mentality. She was probably getting pounded by other dudes on the side.

Honestly though, how can you blame her? Murdoch is decades older than the men in Viagra commercials. He cant be giving it to her good on a consistent basis.

If you aren't fucking your girl good, then it is expected that she will look elsewhere. If you don't know if you are fucking her good, then you aren't.
