Looks like I'll be going there in July. I'd rather hit up another destination but, I've got a good friend I haven't seen in a few years there.

Last time I went (08) I was not impressed with the girls. There were a few stunners here and there but for the most part, I was pretty disappointed. I was only there for about a week, Is that the case all the time or what?

Where did you hang out?

If you are going in July this year, keep in mind that many locals will go to other beach towns (or other places in general), and the fly girl population can get diluted. Especially by weesh American girls. July and August is basically when everyone who lives there gets the f*ck out.

People that go to Barcelona always seem to have very wildly swinging experiences depending on a host of factors. (Not uncommon for big International cities).

A lot of the locals go to Ibiza or Sitges in July and August. It might be worth your while to arrange a trip to one of those places. But, even if you don't, I am surprised at the lack of talent in general. Barcelona is a jump off point for a lot of travellers. Many Ibiza partiers stop in Barcelona on the way there.

I was just there in February, and I think percentage wise it had more hot girls than New York, but still the population is smaller so it balances out. It had a good amount of rowdy tourists in Las Ramblas, Gaudi Park, Sagrada Familia and to a lesser extent Port Olympic and the other tourist magnets but they were mostly English/Australian, and didn't seem to stray past the shopping avenues in Av. Portal d´Angel into the more artsy parts like Arc de Triompf (yes spelled correctly) or the nearby Park, where I saw alot of college students. To me, majority of the Catalan girls looked similar. They either had slightly brown skin tone and light to medium dark-brown hair:




or paler skin and burgundy hair.

G, I went all over the city and really hung out in some nice places. It was in January, so it was pretty chilly. I don't know what the deal was. I just spoke to my friend and he insists that lots of hot ass is in town in July....his gf says the same....I'm gonna be irate if this is another bust....

Hey Fisto,

I lived in Barcelona for 10 months during 2009. The quality of the girls was average but there were a few stunners that really stood out, such as a perfect 10 with tits and ass working as a receptionist in a gym in the north of the city. The bars near the sea are meat markets with hordes of tourists and many Americans dressed like sluts. Even after learning Spanish, I found the locals to be hard to crack and very hostile to foreigners probably because they get so many of them. Your best bet for bangs may be tourists looking for it but I had a friend who got a FB off a language exchange site so it´s not entirely out of the question. Good luck!

I have been there in January (it was forever ago) but I would think that would have to be one of the worst months. I remember it snowed there once when I was there.

July should be better than that for sure. Ideally, I would go when I went last year; May.

My guess is this has to do with:

1. People didn't go out in the best spots on the best nights and were caught in tourist traps

2. Frustration from difficulty level of local girls (and there lack of English ability)

3. Taste in girls (if a thin fly Spanish girl with brown hair and brown or green eyes with good style is not your type then you might not like the girls there)

4. People sometimes don't like big International cities (Paris also gets up and down reviews)

5. Very high expectations going in

Personally, I rank Barcelona up with NYC, above LA, and comparable with Miami (I think I did a comparison on here earlier).

I am hard pressed to find an American city that dominates it in terms of girls.

And overall (food, architecture, art, girls, nightlife, beaches, beauty, etc etc etc), that is a tough one too.

I am all ears to people's suggestions of better cities.

I agree with the guys here that the percentage of good looking LOCAL girls in Barcelona is pretty low (in comparison to countries like Italy). But as flashbang said the 10s are the real 10s. Tall, nice asses, cute faces and perfect tits. But these Catalan girls can be tough to crack if you don't have super solid game. You will also need to be fluent in Spanish.

However, there are a lot of Latinas in Barcelona and they are DTF. Also, during summers the city may get its share of American girls (to be honest I met only a few), it also receives a lot of tourist girls from other European countries.

So, I don' think that you have to really worry about quality.

On top of that, Barcelona is crazy, crazy city. The vibe is simply amazing and contrary to the popular belief the people are quite friendly.So, even if you don't get a spanish flag you will definitely have a great time.

Ever since I got my Spanish flag (outside of Spain), I've had zero interest in going back to Spain. Spanish women remind me too much of Argentines.

By average I mean average for Europe as I am from Europe. I don´t know how that would compare to Cleveland and other American cities, so I´ll leave that to guys who´ve travelled both continents. What I can say is that while the average Catalan girl left much too be desired when it comes to the face, the good looking ones were really stunning. With tight game I´m sure you can nail the top quality talent. the Arc De Triomf park is perfect for day game and clubs like Shoko, Opium and Carpe Diem are good upscale(and expensive) night venues. For cheap clubs go to the Ciutadella Villa Olimpica clubs where sometimes you´re even gives free drinks just to go in. I wouldn´t bother with Razzmatazz for pickup as the music is insanely loud but if that´s not an issue, it´s a massive place with lots of dance floors for any musical taste. Barcelona is awesome but I found the girls to be very hard to crack especially compared to the much easier hostel travellers and tourists. Another interesting place for day game is the underground metro. While commuting to and from different areas, I sometimes saw really attractive women. Good luck and happy hunting!

Sevilla is pretty solid, no complaints, but I wouldn't compare it with Barcelona.

- As far as average beauty in a goes I rank Ljubliana, Slovenia highest. It´s in Central Europe technically but it´s pretty Westernized in most respects. It was insane there just how each woman was bangable. Most of my travels have been to East Europe where the average beauty blows that of the average Catalan woman out of the water. Doesn´t mean you´d find them more or less attractive overall. Just means I personally found the women much prettier on average as far as looks go.

- These clubs are mostly meat markets filled with foreigners but my wing and I got good tail from there several times.(We were more interested in notches than going for the Spanish in bars). You can easily get on an internet list and avoid the entrance charge. I definitely don´t recommend going here exclusively. Actually if it´s the flag you´re after, you´re better off in a less touristy bar away from the sea and more inwards into the city itself.

I was looking for more of an apples to apples comparison, not mangoes to papayas.

If you have any Western European cities that make Barcelona look average, I am all ears. And itchy on the plane ticket buying finger.

Yes, I have been to both, and overall, I found the average girl on the street in Seville more attractive. But being a bigger city, Barcelona has more attractive women in sheer numbers, many of those being tourists.

Like I said before, I need to check Sevilla again.

With all the negative reviews that Barcelona gets, I would think people would come up with a big list of cities that destroy it.

I would like to see that list.

As far as Western Europe goes I´m afraid I can´t tell you much as I haven´t yet travelled there extensively(Been tied up to a j.o.b. until recently). I´ve been to other cities around Spain but not for a long enough time to form an accurate picture. Still I think itś only fair that my experiences in Central and Eastern Europe have left me underwhelmed by Catalans. As far as Spain itself goes, I´ve always heard good things said about Andalusia and cities like Cadiz. I wonder how they stack up against Barcelona. Perhaps it may not seem evident from my posts but actually I really love Barcelona and as I said at the start some girls are absolutely stunning. Doesn´t really matter what the average is as long as you can nail high grade ass. I´m also highly interested in W.E cities that compare favourably to Barcelona. Until then I have to go for Barcelona as my favourite W.E city by default.

A natural friend of mine got consistent tail via a local language exchange(intercambio) website. Pipelining in this way may help provide multiple streams of pussy but be sure to put in the daygame hours in the Ciutadella Park because they´re worth the effort.

I went from hostel to apartment to being homeless and having to depend on friends for lodging. In this hour of desperation I scoured Loquo.com, bombarded people with calls and texts, found a room via Loquo and moved in. I was paying 290 euros a month + bills. Decent amount for a decent place in a good area. The trick is to use Loquo and look for people who want to rent rooms. Avoid the bloodsucking agencies as they want a huge % of the total rent fee(1/10 or more). It can be surprisingly hard to find good, cheap accomodation in Barcelona so make sure you work the numbers and find reliable flat mates. I know a guy who got screwed by his flat mate by being charged extra for the room. The bastard fled to Thailand with the money. Be careful who you trust over there. Common sense and sharp wits at all times. Hope this helps.
