Apparently, toxoplasmosis could do a few things, including
Fucking with your brain's fear circuitry and rewriting it with your pleasure center (making you more likely to take risks)
increasing rates of mental illness and schizophrenia
increasing baseline testosterone
excessive sociability and desire to be liked in females and antisocial activity in males
males generally exhibit more suspicion and introvert-like qualities
men with toxoplasmosis are more attractive to the female sex and vice versa
the men with it generally do not care what others think of them and are more likely to wear shitty clothes or have few friends as a result

no idea whether or not it can be sexually transmitted

***-Everyone has seen dogs throughout their whole lives that's it's become a common occurance and nothing special. They've even become accessories to the emasculated man (nothing like taking a stroll in NYC and watching some guys carrying around man purses with either a Yorkie or Chihuawa in them ) If you can get your hands on a zebra more power to you but if you want to look like a true alpha get yourself a tiger or cheetah if you can afford it and have some suitable living quarters.

You can get toxoplasmosis from eating raw meat too. But otherwise cat faeces is the most likely vector.

It's usually a pretty harmless infection but it's harmful to the unburn, so pregnant women who never have had a cat shouldn't acquire one during pregnancy and stay away from raw meat and some cheeses.

How is it transmitted? You ingest the parasite eggs.

That said, the only person I've ever personally known who contracted toxoplasmosis is a female doctor who hates all animals, is scared of my dog, never goes near cats and got oxoplasmosis tfrom making meatballs and trying her raw meat-mixture.

What's scary is that, if this research is true, toxoplasmosis can cause brain and behavioral changes even in people who are not affected in the classic sense - people with strong immune system and no visible symptoms. It's very disturbing, not so much the symptoms but the possibility of this happening so subtly.

Notice that the article also says that indoor cats are harmless and that outdoor cats shed the parasite for only 1% of their lifespan, so you are much more likely to get toxoplasmosis from eating salad that wasn't washed well or a very rare steak than contact with cats.
