Wow, this thread escalated quickly.

I'm only half way through reading, but I wanted to point something out. I have good looking friends that aren't very good at getting laid and good looking friends that put 0 effort in to getting laid. It can go both ways.

I have a friend who is tall, muscular, darker skin (Venezuelan with a bit of a black mix. Looks mulatto), blond/brown curly long hair (It turns blond from him surfing). He is just a straight up good looking dude. The guy constantly seems like he just smoked an ounce of weed, always seems to be in a daze. He's the most bro'd out surfer dude you'll meet, but somehow he pulls bitches like you wouldn't believe. I've never seen anyone pull like him, and the only level that I think could pull better would be a rock star, famous actor, or pro athlete. I've seen him take a girl home from the club, come back to the same club an hour and a half later, and pull another married girl home. It just doesn't make sense. And the guy doesn't really have game per say. Or maybe he's just a natural. He's just really laid back and nice with a cool vibe, but he's never spitting anything whitty. I think he basically just plays the don't fuck it up angle. Girls approach him all the time. Sometimes it kills my game, as I'll invite a girl to come hang out with use (For example when we have bottles at the club) and they'll just start engaging him. He's good about it though and tried not to cock block. His advice to me was, "All's you have to do is be nice to the girls and tell them they're beautiful." I'm thinking, "Alright dude, I know that works for you being a 6'6" male model and all, but for me, girls will think I'm a beta chump."

I also have a friend who's a good looking male model that pulls, but not even as much as I do (When he was single) and now is stuck with a cunt of a girlfriend who has the face of a 6 and a body of a 5. Dude is super beta and has zero confidence.

So I see both angles of the argument. Sometimes guys are just born with it, sometimes not.

Pacific Beach has very tight skater and surfer cliques, too. Plus there seems to be a 100 BJJ and MMA school.

I love PB (bars like Firehouse) but am always on edge since I can feel things are about to pop off any second and the guys I roll with usually aren't fighters.

Surprisingly, people in SF seem to like to fight. I actually got into a fight in SF and watched a few outside of the MatrixFillmore in the Marina.

Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood also gets pretty obnoxious around last call.

When people think of Cali they think of the West Side, which is soft as fuck.

In 5 years of consistently going out I have seen one legit fight in SF, and it was 2 gay guys the Mission fighting over a third guy. lol Although one guy did want to fight me once at East Side West. But he was wasted.

You better believe you will get beat up in San Diego for talking shit! It is just a much more masculine culture than up here. No sober guy here has even so much as looked cross eyed at me here, and I am not exactly threatening-looking. At 6' 200, there are much bigger guys.

The most common equation though is the more of an outnumbered situation it is, the more likely it will escalate into a fight.

In SF we have what I call "the Asian tough guy" meaning there are at least 5 of them, and they are tough-talking a guy who is alone.

There is no honor in fighting anymore.

I actually respected the guy who wanted to fight me at East Side West, because it was just him and not a bunch of his boys, where I had other people with me.

I got my iPhone out and started recording him. He screamed, "YOU'RE NEXT!!!"

The kid was about 150 and got really lucky his friends gave me a pleading, "Come on, man, we just want to get this retard out of here" explanation, because I'd still have kicked his fucking ass.

Another time a white kid was talking shit to an Asian and then got all racist, saying, "Come on, Ching Chong!" So an onlooker who had seen enough say, "If you want to fight, I'll fight you." Then he took him down, back mounted him, and started beating on him.

I was in a good mood said I'd get the kid out of there if the guy would stop beating him. The retard started to talk shit to the guy again, so I Gable gripped him and lifted him off the ground and carried him down the block.

I'd usually only hit the Matrix after my UFC routine. Used to be that the only place in SF showing the UFC was Hooters at Fiserhman's Wharf. So I'd catch the fights and then hit up the Matrix. So maybe that's what every other asshole was doing and hence the fights.

On Pacific Beach:

PB was 100 times harder in the 90's. Same with North Mission Beach.

There were a few Beach Gangs operating. Ocean Beach too. Everyone moved pounds of weed and drugs.

Your average guy was a E-tab dealer.

Skinheads. Punk Gangs. Suicidals (satellite gangs from the Venice Beach branch coming from Oceanside).

You could get in three fights a night in those parts. Sometimes 20 on 20 brawls.

Then throw in the Navy Seals as well. Place was a cauldron. Sucker Punch city.

Most of that stuff has been gentrified out and there are a lot of East Coast and Midwest transplants that now live there because there are actually jobs.

Back then drug dealing was probably the main employer.

But still, you guys are right. You can easily get a fist in the face around there.

Just now you might not get kicks from 10 guys and curbed.

Haha MikeCF. Armenians f*ckers are crazy as shit. I was in the car w/an couple Armos+persians in LA (when I was in HS). Some other clique from a rival HS cut off our car and started taunting us and throwing pennies at our car. We gave chase at 80 mph down Ventura Blvd (speed limit is 35).

Cornered him in a 1-way street. My acquantice- the driver gets out and get a steel pipe out of his car and runs up and starts beating the sh-t out of the other person's car. Shattered the moonroof, dented all the doors. Screaming like a f-cking madman the whole time. I dont think these kids knew wtf do.

Shortly after this incident, I started carrying a hammer in my car. Thankfully I didn't have to use it once.

Moral of the story- don't eff w/the armenians. For some reason, they thrive off drama.

I'm at a bachelor party and we all go walk down Sunset to hit up Saddle Ranch.

I'm in the lead with another guy. The rest are way behind us. The guy I'm with is sorta boisterous but isn't really talking shit.

Somehow, though, he pissed of 3 Armos. They are in front of us talking shit. They are blocking the sidewalk. I am playing Mr. Diplomat.

"Hey, man, I'm sorry if my friend was an asshole. We're just trying to party. Let's just say you punked us out and call it a night, OK?"

I was trying to do them a favor (as you'll see, below).

The guys say no, so I punched him in the face immediately rather than let him dictate the terms of the fight.

The buddy I'm with starts fighting. It's 3 on 2.

Before I know it, I lost track of the guy I just hit. I was thinking, "WTF, where'd he go?"

That's because the troops were running down the sidewalk. One of our friends (a cholo) had my guy in the road. All I saw was the guy's blood splatter everywhere after getting kneed in the nose. The blood splattered movie style where the head turns and it spits out like a sprinkler.

Another Cholo and two of our other friends had another guy on the sidewalk. He was out cold. The third one ran off.

It was very, "Nows you can't leave," from A Bronx Tale and a lesson that kindness isn't always weakness. I was honestly trying to do those three guys a favor by letting them have the "win," as I knew what was coming wouldn't be pretty.

Anyway, as usual Gio and Sam have it right. I think the other guys saying you can only learn game from less attractive guys are just showing a form of haterdom.

Good looks are not much more than an opener. One incongruent word, and it's over. Especially in places where good looking dudes are plentiful like L.A. or Vegas. Girls love trying to take you down a peg. In fact, I think those places makes your Game much stronger than most guys. When I go to the East coast or flyover country, I stand out more than in the West coast,

It could be argued that good looking guys have the built in part of confidence or inner game coming to them much more easily but to say that you don't have to use frame control, lead, and talk then your understanding of game is simply off.

Im a good looking guy with bad game. It really sucks sometimes because girls look at me and expect me to fit a certain persona when I don't. You get tossed layups every once in a while and when your at a club and the girl is really drunk you basically just try and not fuck it up and get her out of there. I have no doubt a lot of dudes on here would be smashing a few different 7+ girls a week being me without a lot of effort.

I agree with this.

At place I hang out at and cities I hang out in, pretty much everyone is good looking, rich or both. (Or pretending to be rich and are "rich" for the night).

Maybe if you hang out at some crap club in some crap state in some crap city, being good looking is a big advantage. But go to the best place in South Beach on any given night, and everyone is "good looking".

Hell, there will be male models as bus boys and bartenders, and customers. Then every top guy from every city will be in town. Plus the Miami cats. Transplants. etc

You still have to work being good looking.

Come to think of it, that is probably one of the reasons I emphasize dressing Sharp so often.

It is the best way to stand head and shoulders above the competition.

I have said it before, there will always be someone better looking than you, taller than you, richer than you.

But you can be the best dressed Man in the room.

This is something you can control.

Same here. I'd consider myself decently good looking as well and tall (6'7) and I just need to not fuck up but I usually do. I'm expected to be aggressive but they get surprised when I'm not.

el mechanico is right. Gaming is like hunting, it's best to expend optimal effort in getting the lizards. It's all about ROI. This means optimal location, good logistics (a place to pull her to fcuk afterwards that isn't so far that she cools down and gets LMR) as well as TIMING.

Regarding timing, I was in Boston some years back, in a particular club scanning the scene. It was a very Euro club with an energy and a vibe that matched my personality. This dude was dancing with this Italian-American lizard all night, kissing her down, tongue down her throat and everything.
At the end of the night, for some reason, maybe due to his logistics, he was talking to her and they exchanged numbers and he left.

Now, the chap that I went to the club with, knew the Italian's friend (another lizard) and they were actually staying together in the same apartment.
As he spoke to her I began to speak with the Italian, who had been warmed up by the interaction with the dude she had been dancing with all night.

To cut a long thing short, we went back to their place and I fcuked her in the living room on the futon.

This was due to timing. If I had approached her at the beginning of the night, I may have not been able to escalate accordingly.

Now, when I generally go out unless I see obvious ROI, I usually wait until the lizards have had time to drink before I pounce.

Speaking of timing, I am slapping myself in the head right now because I was in the store yesterday and I missed out on a lizard with a tramp stamp that could have been a close for me. She was wearing some cut off shorts and had cleavage spilling out. She was a weak 5 but passed boner test (which is all that matters to me).

However, I usually switch off my hunt eyes when doing general domestic duties.
