That guy goes to my gym.

Reminds me why I wouldn't want to be famous.

He's there just trying to do some chin-ups and grown men are asking to have their pic taken with him. One guy wasn't even sure who he was...just knew he was famous and wanted his pic.

That might be desired by some but would get really old for me fast.

Then again, cute girls stop dead in their tracks. It's pretty funny. They stop like zombies or like they have been hypnotized. He could just take one by the hand and leave with her. She'd be in the hotel before even realizing what was happening.

So maybe it's worth it.

I tend towards thinking Bill Murray's view is right: "I always want to say to people who want to be rich and famous: 'try being rich first'. See if that doesn't cover most of it. There's not much downside to being rich, other than paying taxes and having your relatives ask you for money. But when you become famous, you end up with a 24-hour job."

Verdict is--IMO--she suffers from what most other blonde girls suffer from. Hot with makeup, looks like a farmer without makeup.

There's not much downside to being rich, other than paying taxes and having your relatives ask you for money. But when you become famous, you end up with a 24-hour job."

all the 'gossip' is he's gay...you get that feeling at the gym?

but anyway, why you go to a public gym unless you want the attention. there are exclusive members-only gyms and/or home gyms with personal trainers. usually studios can provide gyms to, yeah?

Women hate the fact that most guys age far better than they do. Your average guy wont start to show signs of aging until their late 30s and even in his fifties and sixties can still look attractive (no homo) because signs of aging isn't as detrimental to a mans looks as it shows signs of experience and wealth. Grey hair on a guy can look pretty good as does some scars and wrinkles. Even if a guy looks terrible at old age, if he is wealthy and or famous he can easily attract young hot girls.
Women however deteriorate dramatically after 30 and there are no redeeming features to this decline, experience and wealth are not positive contributions to a woman's attractiveness.

This is an exclusive gym. Other celebs go there, including Dave Chapelle. But in L.A., what's that even mean? Lots of people have $/month for a gym membership.

Plus, in LA, you're going to see Arnold, Lou Ferringo, and tons of celebs. (I don't watch many movies, but see familiar faces and assume they are celebs.) I almost moved into an apartment down the street from Eric Clapton, hung out at a bar with Nick Nolte, smoked cigars with Axl Rose.

It's just LA culture. It's always the tourists or geeks new to the West Side who get star struck.

It's because there's a certain energy or vibe to a place that's populated by people. Even (or perhaps especially) when you don't want to talk to people, it's still nice being out in public instead of on house arrest.

(In prison being in segregation is the worst. Why would anyone rather be around scum bag criminals? Again, man is a social animal.)

I didn't get the gay vibe. He wasn't eye fucking me or my friend (male fitness model), which usually happens when we're around gay guys. Most guys see two fit guys together and assume we're gay. That's because most straight guys are fat, out of shape, and just have no drive. Most of the bigger/fitter guys are actually gay now-a-days.

I only knew it was him because my friend and I sorta take over a space (find a piece of equipment, take it over, drop of gym bag, phones, etc. and start lifting without giving much mind to those around us) and encroached on his territory. He curtly came over to grab his stuff that was near us and was sorta annoyed at our lack of respect.

He was polite to the dorks but looked like he sincerely just wanted to catch a workout and grab a shake like the rest of us gym rats.

Again, that's not an uncommon attitude for LA.

If you pay $ a month for gym, you sorta expect people to be professionals who aren't gonna be starstruck.

Guess not.

i lived in la and worked out in the same gym as fabio, a golds in hwood. i saw fabio twice and he never had that kind of attention, at least what i can remember.
