SF is a great city. But, quality and quantity of girls is not one of our strong suits.

That being said, if you have game, you will have no problem pulling here.

However, most major metropolitan American cites will have better quality and quantity. (NYC, LA, San Diego, Austin, Phoenix, Chicago, Miami, etc)

But, San Francisco is a unique experience that you can't find anywhere else.

I am not ragging on the OP, change your mindset. If you can pull hot girls in a city where it's damn near impossible to game in your opinion then that is MASSIVE upside for you. Personally SF is not a disaster IMHO however if I found a city that I thought was HARD I would have a HUGE SMILE ON MY FACE. That means in 1-3 years i'd be a god damn beast because i'd approach every girl within ear shot till my game got to invincible level.

I can attest to what WestCoast posted. He showed me the right venues after I moved here and my quality/frequency shot up dramatically. If you have a modicum of game you can develop a decent rotation and then just cruise control while focusing on other shit. Definitely a "lifestyle" city.

You should also look into Bridge and Tunnelers.......

There are a ton of cute girls from the surrounding areas who go to Stanford in Palo Alto or whatever, come up to SF, and don't know anyone or the right spots. Very easy to parlay into a weekend fuck buddy and you don't get them nagging you during the week.

Good call on the coke too. I get asked for it at least 2-3x every time I'm in the Marina...should start charging my guy for referrals, hah.

SF Girls are the American Apparel type of girl. They're kinkier and weirder. As for day game you really have to do it rooshv 'day bang' style and come under the radar initially. Or don't be skeevy and just start a genuine conversation.

Try to avoid the peninsula. The south bay has some ghetto pockets if your into that. SF/Berkley is where it's at. Avoid the south bay, now that is dating hell compared to SF. The south bay is where engineers go to raise their families in the top-of-the-country high schools of cupertino and palo alto. Marin is probably the finance equivalent of that.

Ok, as a person who lives in the Bay Area (I live near Napa), of all places in the Bay, SF is the best place to meet women, period. You come here to the suburbs, and the girls get pretty dam closed, and of course, you need game. And as people said, avoid Silicon Valley, it's a cockfest there (tech companies). I personally like SF because I can meet lots of chicks from other countries who go there as tourists or are living here in the Bay Area (I have met beautiful girls from Turkey, Israel, Spain, etc).

For all the hype for so-cal, so-cal is a wasteland. People in so-cal are douches compared to people from the Bay, that's honest truth. I don't want to live in so-cal, EVER, because of their attitude, which for me, is completely shocking. Only descent place in so-cal is San Diego, LA is a complete shithole that must be avoided at all costs.

And for summarize, yes, there are other places that have better women than SF (like NYC), but still, SF has a unique way of life, that I really like, but I also want to get away.

I lived SF and East Bay 10 years during my late 30's, magical location, dreamy weather (cool somewhat damp and mysterious) but I felt being ultrahip and young became more and more required and I aged out. YoungTallCool or really talented in some odd way is definitely required. Dull sports guys from lower class schools don't seem to do as well, as someone mentioned about the elite school connections.

It is very important to be the young guy with whom everything is a fun adventure, 34 year olds think they are 22 here.

Pretty much sums it up. If someone tells you they are harder or are less slutty/prude the guy does not have a lot of experience and likely goes into those situations thinking they are different. He can fix it quickly. What happens is this.

Her; "I go to Stanford!"
Guy (eye brow flash + feels insecure for a few seconds)
Her: (notices and loses all attraction because she knows you're impressed)
Guy: tries to game... but is gaming from a spot of inferiority = lost.

Stick to day game out there. Emeryville has chicks that have their shit together. There's a bunch of retail stores there and you'll see girls out in the weekend. Nothing really at night though. That's what sucks about the East Bay. It's just kinda dead at night compared to SF.

For 15 years I would say that I don't do any of that shit and got ostracized for it. Opting out of an anarchic release should not make you a target of the conformists.

It is impossible to have a conversation about anything in SF without toeing the party line (so called liberalism, feminism, pro-gay). So perfect because nearly all of the recent tech innovation and wealth in SF was created by men.

I think foreign girls in SF is a good idea. When I lived in SF (I'm now living in the East Bay) the city was divided between locals and tourists. I've never seen a city in my life where the contrast between the two was more distinct. Tourists would be in Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf and along the Embarcadaro. Locals would be in the neighborhoods.

European chicks would meet locals who invited them to 'private parties' - from my limited experience of a few (one) private party. This scene is interesting but - like the tourist scene - is highly transient. It's also full of drugs and douche bags who use drugs (no offense to the drug using douche bags on this forum) - as is the 'popular' kids scene.

If I were to seriously try SF again (it's been a few years since I lived there) I would re-engage my social circle there and mine it.

However! From my personal experience - and out of an extensive social circle that included members of the 'popular' SF crowd - there are very, very few top shelf women.

So then you're back to try-hard day game / bar game. It's a lot of wasted time.

I think the best bang for the buck is; 1) event game (gaming at local events) and 2) retail day game.

In America there is basically nothing to do. Life here is about work.

People do nothing. The one outlet for people is shopping. I noticed myself doing this once and it was frightening!

In America when you go to buy a new shirt or shoes or pants you go to EVERY store that could conceivable carry something that fits you BEFORE you buy. By the time you buy something you know every brand, style and price point. You don't believe me; ask some of the guys on this board what shoes they wear.

In (Western) Europe they have stores where the clothes are picked out for you. (And the people that work at these stores are professionals - not minimum wage slaves.) You go, you pick a few things, you're done. You don't look at prices. You know that you're buying quality and that it will last.

In America it is a process.

So, I think that's the way to go. Find pockets where hot girls would shop and then 'shop'.

My strategy with close quarters day game is to assume attraction and go straight to qualification. Not sure if this is the best but I like it because it sets a frame (my frame) and doesn't waste my f'ing time on bla, bla, bla.
