Society you would most like to live in
Not talking of a perfect world but a real one which society would you most like to live in that exists today

For me I like Italy as the women are conservative, the people are family orientated, the men are not emasculated and are friendly and interested in socialising and there is very little crime excluding the mafia. On a night out you see zero violence.

Men behave masculine their without all being thugs or glassing each other and you see families eating and going out together and old people are not dumped in homes.

Also the weather is nice. Unfortunately the people are very corrupt and their economy is fucked. Also their low birthrate is going to lead to disaster.

I have been there 22 times, from south to north Sicily, Rome, Milan, Naples, etc

Italy - Surely the only country in Europe where the women are nearly as ugly as British, French & Belgian women?!

^wtf? Italian girls are gorgeous. They're tough nuts to crack though. (although in London actually it's pretty doable)

That's an easy question to answer.

The one where I am King.

Italian girls are gorgeous...really? Of course every nation has amazing women (even England!)...so no need to post pictures of top Italian totty. Most of the ones I have met have more hair on their top lip than I have on my head........it would be like kissing Merv Hughes!

Are you talking about southern Italy? I've only spent time in Northern Italy and thought the women were good looking. But I've heard things are grim down south. But I like French women too (I'll definitely agree with you about the Belgians).

@ Lemmo. I travel to Brussels regularly on business.....outside the UK it is the city I have spent most time in.......and the quality of women is unbelievably bad. Bar the odd hot black lady.....massive disappointment.

To be honest perhaps I have not made enough trips to Italy to comment, but the times I have been, have been unimpressed.

Yeah, I've scratched my head many times wondering what genetic mishap explains the Belgians. I see plenty of decent looking French, Dutch and German women (I don't even think the Brits are so bad) so I can't figure out how things went so wrong in this one little corner of Europe.

Brits are awful.....there are always exceptions....but I believe British women are the ugliest in Europe hands down. Dislclaimer - Most of this is down to lack of effort.....poor choice of clothing, lack of effort to look feminine, lack of exercise, bad diet.............I am sure if English women made the best of what they had, would be a different ball game. Never been to the US but imagine it is a similar story!

The women in Florence were some of the most consistently beautiful I've seen anywhere. Didn't get laid though...

RE: Society you would most like to live in
You're referring to some imaginary ideal-type version of Italy that I don't recognise. I've been going to Italy for years and speak the language fluently. Disclaimer: I mainly go to Rome and the South. I don't know the North at all.

There's plenty of violence on a typical out in Rome: gypsies trying to steal or scam, unemployed hooligans getting rowdy at the club. Lots of illegal immigrants fucking shit up; alongside Greece and Spain it's one of the major entry points for illegals into Europe.

No street crime? Spend some time in Napoli and report back.

It's sad because there's a lot about Italy that I love. But I love it in spite of its shortcomings.

There are a lot of hot, feminine girls, but the guys in the younger generation are becoming increasingly emasculated (even if they're still charismatic, friendly and cool). Italy has the biggest number of big groups of guys sticking together and not talking to girls that out of anywhere I've been. A lot of the guys act beta even if they're very charismatic; it may be because of the strong family values that they're not yet being heavily penalised for it by their women. I've found it hard to crack same night lays with local girls, so they're either more conservative or I've been playing it wrong. My sense is that they do fuck fast and that I just haven't cracked it yet.

Feminist ideology is spreading there like wildfire. There's a BIG contingent of busted looking girls too. Italian women don't age well and start piling on the pounds in their late twenties. On my last couple of trips I've noticed they're getting chubbier too even at a very young age. Sun exposure messes up their skin. You don't know shit about entitled attitudes until you've met bitchy Italian women! Attitudes much closer to American women than what you get from Eastern Europeans. If you don't think media there is causing bad attitudes just tune into a Mediaset channel entertainment show on a weekend night.

You're right that it's very family oriented, and I love that you see families dining out together and strolling around town, even after midnight.

You point out that older people are respected, but that's also a big part of what's destroying the economy there. It's a gerontocracy where people are promoted based on seniority. That's one reason all the bright young people are leaving. The state is weak too. That probably sounds great to small-government fetishists, but when it means that the government can't push through reforms needed to reassure investors and can't collect the taxes it needs to keep things ticking along it becomes a major problem.

People are generally cultured and well-read, education is good and mostly free (private school is mostly for kids that couldn't hack it in public school), and there's a strong emphasis on Classics. They're friendly and chatty, which I like. The template for my early day game was the typical friendly Italian who strikes up a conversation with you on the train.

It really saddens me to see corrupt politicians fucking things up for the country, but I hope they will pull through. It used to be one of the greatest industrial economies, and it's still got a bigger GDP than Russia.

I would probably move there too if not for the economic problems and corruption.

My trip Rome report might be of interest: /thread-5657.html

That ended up being quite long, now I gotta think about where I would most like to live...

For me of the places I've been, Brazil. I still have a lot of the map to cover, but I feel like it's going to be hard to find a place that can out do the culture, food, scenery, friendliness of the people, and quality of women as in Brazil.

You're right that gypsies cause alot of crime, mainly pick pocketing

Rome is not that bad. Compared to bad areas of London it's nothing. The ultras are scum, unfortunately as Italians tend not to be fighters when they get into fights it's normally with weapons or in a group

The women are not feminist by Western European standards, the idea of slut shaming as being wrong has not caught on

Their big problem is corruption. On league tables they are below many African countries in terms of corruption and ease of doing business.

Russia or another similar place in Eastern Europe.

I admire any culture that can be traditional and masculine without needing Islam to do it.

No shame.

I don't think I have ever heard a story of an American guy getting a local girl there.

All things considered, I'm pretty peachy where I am right now. While I've been eyeing the east the general contempt by its authorities for rule of law is too problematic for me to ignore.

You're trolling right? I've spent months in Italy and never seen so many good looking women. I know the Tuscany region like the back of my hand. You won't see a region with better looking women in Western Europe. Where exactly did you go in Italy?

And calling French women ugly.... Facepalm

French women are at the top of the list. Again, where exactly did you go?

I wasn't too impressed with Italian women either. It was a letdown because Mediterranean features are my favorite. They are nothing compared to Czech, Ukrainian or Romanian women.

That said, Italian culture is one of my favorite in the world and I'm somewhat of an italio-phile. The history, the art, the architecture, food, fashion, language, wine, culture, landscape, weather, exotic cars. It's like all the shit I love stuffed into one country.

If I had to be reincarnated, coming back as a good looking Italian guy from a wealthy family would be dope.

@ Clockwork. Just my opinion...remember taste in women is always horses for courses.....one mans meat is another mans poison and all that bullshit.

Been many times to France......although to defend French women I perhaps have not been to the better places.....spent a tonne of time in Lille / Calais / Northern France....for Italy mainly in the North again, so Venice etc.

Ps - As i have spent loads of time in Poland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine etc.....my preferences (Slavic) and standards are probably making me judge French / Italians harshly.
