According to a year old article I found where they polled and surveyed the women of Argentina. 70% of the women in Argentina feel ugly and very uncomfortable in the way they look. This is the result of Argentina being the country with the most plastic surgeries surpassing the US.

Since the article is in Spanish Ill translate the stats,

70% feel insecure or frankly "horrible" with the way they look when looking themselves in a mirror.
64% of the women feel frustrated that they cannot buy the clothes that they want.
53% have very low self-esteem and feel insecure when going inside a pool or at the beach and 22% feel the same way when it comes to seduction with the opposite sex.

Maybe that explains a little bit of why Argentinas are difficult. They probably lack confidence. Thoughts?

I totally believe the article. Argies are completely insecure, hence the highest per capita psychiatrists in the world.

I went out with a girl from BA for 3 years, and she never thought she was that attractive (even though she was).

From what I've heard, Brazil has more plastic surgeries though.

Nope. When women have some kind of body/looks issue, they're self-conscious and are less comfortable with you seeing them naked. You would think the fact that a man is showing interest would override that, but it doesn't always. It takes more work than many of us are willing to put in...HA HA!

I think breast implants are huge in Brazil, because a lot of women down there are full on the bottom, but small breasted. I imagine lipo might be pretty popular also.

Actually in my experience Argentinian girls are much easier than, for instance, Colombian girls. At least in Buenos Aires sex happens much faster. I know it's a cliché but social circle is key. With social circle in Colombia you still have to put in a lot of time.

If you don't mind my asking, how much time have you spent in Buenos Aires and how much time have you spent in Colombia? I spent a semester in Buenos Aires and a total of four weeks in Colombia and definitely cannot agree with your post.

Hahaha so true. Its interesting the diferent cultures in Women. American girls who are fat think they are models while her Argentinian counterpart actually thinks shes a whale. Maybe thats why the obesity rate in Argentina is so low.

I think it depends on how desperate a chick is for dick. A great many sub-standard bitches are very proud - they don't want to be mercy fucked. They want to feel like you're looking past the bustedness of their faces or the sloppiness of their bodies and bang them because of the beautiful person they are inside...HA HA! Now sub-standard American bitches are overconfident and actually think they're desirable because they still get dick pretty much whenever they want. Many of them don't have a complex about how they look, when they actually should.

About 5 months in Bs As, around 11 months and counting in Colombia. I think the main reason for Argentina being easier is the relatively more traditional/conservative culture in Colombia. Just to be sure I'm talking about 8s and above in both countries, maybe 7s too.

Yeah I've thought about doing a write-up of Argentina. The thing is I was there in 2005 and that was pre-game so I'm not sure if that is enough to warrant a new thread. Also, sorry to disappoint you in saying that my social circle helped me (I know you pointed out that this always seems to be the conclusion). My point was, though, that having had social circles in both Argentina and Colombia, Argentina is easier. The main reason, I suspect, is the traditional/conservative culture in much of Colombia. Pretty much ONSs/SNLs are out of the question in Colombia (at least for the average guy), that is not the case in Bs As in my experience.

I actually went out alone in Bs As on several occasions (despite that it was before I actively started reading a lot of game, but I guess it helped that I was abroad) and girls would approach me. I get IOIs in Colombia but I still have to approach. And then I have to put in A LOT of time to build trust, while in Argentina it was much more common to make out the first night and swoop much faster - within days (disclaimer I actually only swooped one girl there but I could have EASILY swooped 10 in 5 months if I wasn't so afraid to escalate). When I go back to Argentina I will see what I can do, exploring the country more and using different strategies.

I don't think any of this will be news to you, but anyway for what it's worth, I think THE key thing to understanding Argentina and its women is the identity crisis of the country: its a country geographically located in South America but with a population which is mostly European. Basically the people want to be perceived as European and differentiate themselves from other latin peoples. You also got to be aware that it is a very segregated and antagonistic society (like all of Latin America). Right and left, Boca and River etc. I know you go mostly to high-end places, so you are more likely to run into chicks whose families are right (obviously) and River fans.
I don't know if all this makes sense or not, it's just a working theory.

I'm not quite sure what to make of the claim that 70% of the women think they are ugly. On the one hand, yes, a lot of them have poor self image (the high rates of eating disorders is one indication of this) but on the other hand some of them seemed to think they were damn fine too...maybe it was just a shield they put up though. In Bs As I think classic Western game (negs etc) works very well. And of course many are highly neurotic.

I would like to be able to elaborate more than this. If the economy crashes there rest assured I will be on the first plane (and even if it doesn't it is still high on my list). I think one can learn a lot of game from Argentinian guys. I can't seem to remember the common denominators of the ones who did best though.

Solo, which city/area in Colombia are you specifically talking about? I can say Barranquilla and basically the whole northern coast are not conservative/traditional when it comes to hooking up.

I am talking about Colombia as a whole, minus some places like maybe Parque Lleras in Medellín but even there ONSs with non-prepago girls are rare. Actually most Colombians would say the northern coast is one of the most conservative/traditional areas and based on my experience I definitely agree. Not trying to knock your assessment though, I know you have experience with the coast. It's just that I had a different experience.
Personally I don't mind conservative girls even though it gets frustrating sometimes, I escaped the West just to get away from all the sluts there. You can always focus on the segment of slightly older women (25+) who are focused on their jobs and careers. In this segment fast sex is more likely.

Also, just to clarify my previous post (#19). Even though I having a social circle in Argentina helped me (as it would in any country) that's not how I met most of my girls. Cold-approaching is more efficient there than in Colombia, but of course I still do it in both countries. Still, Colombia is much more a social circle-country than Argentina and especially in Bs As, short time trips will yield more results than in Colombia. Maybe some will disagree but that is my take. In any case you can't argue with the fact that Argentina is more Westernized than Colombia (which in my opinion increases the likelihood of casual sex, at least in Buenos Aires), and at the same time Argentina is probably the one country in Latin America with most resistance to the obesity epidemic.

Well. I remember when I arrived in Cordoba, Argentina.

The girl at the reception was not pretty.

We went to a very busy street and sat down at a cafe by the street.

It was me and two friends.

In the two hours we sat there, I saw perhaps five people that could be stand ins for the elephant man. In the region 0-4 was probably 20%. I remember seeing only one girl that I would maybe give an 8, maybe.

It was amazing to me, really amazing. Almost EVERYONE was UGLY.

Rosario though, whole other story. Still, this was out of the school year.

I remember thinking there might have been a discount on plastic surgeries that day.

I felt like I saw more in Colombia. Someone else stated that in Brazil it's because the women are stacked on the bottom but flat on top. That is pretty true. I find it a bit strange. Typically thicker girls tend to have thicker breasts, but it seems to be an exception in Brazil. Just like Peruvian girls having flat asses doesn't make since. I mean come on, most of them are just as thick as the average brazilian girl, but they have pancake asses and wear diapers over them. Shit's cray! Luckily though I'm a big ass man and small tits don't bother me as long as they are a B. So I still love my Brazilian girls.
