Interesting genetic map of Europe. According to this, Romanians share genetic traits with Italians, Greek, Yugoslavians, Hungarians, and Czechs.

I dislike how many studies of Europe exclude the half that is the FSU.

"Equality may perhaps be a right, but no power on earth can ever turn it into a fact."

"Want him to be more of a man? Try being more of a woman!"

"It is easier to be a lover than a husband, for the same reason that it is more difficult to be witty every day, than to say bright things from time to time."

Romanians they don't look that favorable upon because they see them as being like Moldovan. But the Nazi's saw most Slavs as sub human and saw the Romanians as better since they are a Latin culture. So maybe part of the hate stems from WW2. The Romanians were the bulk stationed in Western and Southern Ukraine during ww2.
There are less Gypsies in Romania than USA,Brazil or France BTW. Its a stereotype.

Dude there's 1.8 Million gypsies in Romania, that's almost ten percent of the population.

Are you saying that 10% of the US population are Gypsies?

According to wikipedia its 2.5% so are you adding some other ethnic classifications onto that beyond Romani's?

There is a sizable minority of Romani people in Romania, known as Ţigani in Romanian and, recently, as Rromi, of 535,140 people or 2.5% of the total population (2001 census).

LOL, even more funny that he would think 2 million gypsies in the USA is 10% of population. It would still be less than 1% of the population.USA has about 1 million(.033% of population) which is almost double that of Romania.Brazil has about 800k. Spain has more as well.Seems that France is almost even depending on the source.

Well let's do the mathematics, population of Romania 19 Million, Roma population 1.8 Million, that's almost 10%, in fact they estimate the truer figure to be nearer 2.5 Million as the lower number is only the ones that have declared themselves Roma(gypsies).

Ok USA does not have 10% gypsies of course, but where the hell are you going to notice a couple of million gypsies more, in Romania with a population of 19 Million or USA with a population of 300 MILLION?

So the point is that Romania is full of gypsies, and even if your claim that other countries have more is true, it is not relevant

RE: Romania
There's a Romanian girl I've been wanting to bang back here in Swe but she's proving to be a hassle. I find out fairly late in the interaction that she has a kid she takes care of every second week. Still for this weekend she gave me a let's-talk-tonight-and-we'llsee-what-happens (never a good sign) which she later just cancelled from being "tired". For a single mom approaching 30 she's acting like a prom queen. While hot I don't see much in the way of personality. When I do get her the jizz on her eyelids won't have time to dry before I'm out the door.

All those gypsies have left to Western Europe once we entered the European Union. Romanian cities now have way less gypsies than French/UK/Italian/Spanish ones.

Yes I have, a few times. Ok I see that you are Romanian.

Romania and Bulgaria are the most gypsy infested countries in Europe, see for yourself.

Anything else?

Dude, that's the number on paper, those who have declared themselves as Roma. In neighbouring Bulgaria fewer than 5 per cent of Roma declare themselves as such. The ethnicity question on the Bulgarian census along with the Romanian census, is even answered in many questions.

http://www.romea.cz/en/news/media/fewer-...elves-roma

You seriously believe that the figures from the 2011 census are accurate? Many of them can't even read or write.

As far as numbers are concerned the biggest population of gypsies is gathered in Serbia (one million remnant of former Yugoslavia). This does not a tell a thing about the quality of power Serbs though. The same Slovakia has the biggest proportion of gypsies relative to population (half a million gypsies in a population of 5 million) and the problem exacerbated when it got separated from Czechoslovakia.
Hungary has also considerable gypsy population.Only in Germany, Poland,Ukraine,Belarus you will find no gypsies and the reason is that Hitler exterminated them all while his allies didn't.

I fail to understand how linguistics influences genetics.

Why should the decades of Roman occupation of Dacia have produced "latin" asses? Hey, the Romans occupied Britannia for a few decades, too. How come British girls do not have "latin" asses?

Seriously... this whole abuse of the word "latin" should be stopped. Romanian girls have nothing in common with Latin-American girls. Nothing in common.

Excellent question. It is because in the UK happened sth unique. The few Normands who invaded Britain in 1066 managed to overhelm the population genetically and changed the gene pool completely in the next centuries although they were only some thousands.Scientists still do not know how that happened. It is really unique case their genes proved absolutely dominant. So no Latin asses in the UK.

Romanians on the other hand consider themselves straight descendants of the Roman legionnaires who once inhabited and guarded the border of Roman Empire in what was later known as Romania. The language close to Italian proves that there is some ground in this claim. Also that Romanians do not look or behave like Slavs although they are among Slavs.

Probably they are the result of mix between the Roman legionnaires and other tribes of Havars etc who came later.Greeks and Turks have had presence in Romania actually Greek nobles were running the country during the Ottoman Empire.

All Balkan populations are very mixed for the reason that both Byzantines and Ottomans used the compulsory removal of populations to achieve control over dangerous regions. As a result masses of Greeks emigrated to Bulgaria, Romania, Asia Minor, Serbs had to go to Asia Minor, Romania (Timisoara was 200 years ago 90% serbian city), Bulgarians and Albanians came to Greece etc.In most cases different nations were living in villages next to each other scattered and in many cases they intermixed.

For example Vlachs who are found all over Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria speak a language very close to Romanian and are supposed to come from there although other historians regard them as native ancient Balkans. (Quite a few gamous Greeks and Serbs are actually Vlachs like Sinas who was a banker and built one of the most famous bridges in Budapest).

I disagree.
There's a good amount of gypsies, both in Poland and especially Germany.
Sure did Hitler exterminate them, but they came back 20-30 years later.
Now even more in Germany, because of Romania being accepted into the EU alot of Gypsies just moved to Germany and live off welfare.
You can see them in all big cities, especially Berlin.
Which is a serious topic right know.
The actual problem is that they don't provide anything to society and cannot be removed because they're EU citizens.
Recently, in the last days, this problem caused a quite big outrage in the media and in the general population, since there's tens of thousands of them coming over to Germany, openly aggressively begging on the street and doing orginazied crimes.
The topic has been discussed countless times in TV the last few weeks.
I can tell you , >90% of the general population the Germany (yes this includes also turks and all other kinds of nationalities) would be in favor of deporting all the gypsies back to Romania.
This is some serious business because it also lights the growing Anti-EU feeling in Germany even more.

That's pretty much the case in every country that has a gypsy population.
Even in Germany it's actually ok to openly talk bad about gypsies, even girls and women do it alot.
As soon as they settle in a neighbourhood, quality of life in this neighbourhood and quarter drops very heavy, for some even unbearable.

I'm not trying being to be populist, I'm just telling the way it is.

Here the police does not even dare to enter the hotspots of gypsy residence. When narcomans want good stuff they usually travel there.Gypsies are notorious here for stealing electricity from poles. In some cases they become roasted by this activity and the electrical company usually refuses to provide their homes.

When I went to the building tunnels of the metro line 4 in Budapest, the lines were mostly done, except for the ones in the 8th district, where most gypsies live. The workers said that they were not going to work hard to build a station for those "büdös cigány pátkanyok" ( stinky gypsy rats). Gives you an idea on how much they all hate them.

Man - Roosh is going to ban me for race trolling after this.

Look, I like girls with bodies like this:

(.)(.)

(\|/)

(she's shaking her ass because I don't know how to make a single space in mycode)

Bit tits. Round Asses. SMALL waist!!! In plentiful supply!

I was just hoping for the promised land of Ukranian/Polish tits w/Brazilian-esque latin (AMERICAN) ass w/Ex-Yugoslavia waists and praying that Romania was that place.

If Romania is not that place - hey that's OK. If not, does my nirvana exist?

I seem to have become the unintentional race troll.

You wil be scammed in Romania. Far more than in any other EE country I've been to. All you need to know that you'll be scammed at some point in Romania is when you land at OTP there are signs at immigration that say "no bribery."

I took a cab home one night in Bucharest and the guy ripped the meter out of his car like it was a detachable radio in his car and told me the price for a 6-7 euro ride would be 50 euros. I ended up in an argument, agreed to pay him 50 euros, and then ran from the taxi when he stopped the car at my destination.

As for the last 2 months they have new Taxi service in OTP airport, you go to the formal Taxi booth and choose a Taxi company which is cheap (1.39 Lei KM) they give you the taxi number which few minutes later will pick you up from front.
At the city, take only taxis with 1.39 Lei/KM appear on their door, the max problem you will have is that they will take longer trip to get more cash, anyhow it is pennies and using google maps with GPS on your phone can hold them from doing it.
Other than Taxis, did not encounter other rip offs.

Pretty epic weekend in Bucharest... Italian flag, Romanian flag, got on TV. Girls are friendly but ONS is logistically tough with strong social groups. One or two dates should be enough.

Bucharest gets a Thumb up from me. Much better than Warsaw.
