Animosity towards an entire gender is an unnecessary emotion that can obscure perceptions of reality. For some guys this might fuel them to greatness, but for the vast majority it will simply make life more difficult.

But men need to realize that they have an instinct (and society encourages them) to chime in or intervene every time something bad happens to a woman. Men need to realize that this is a bad instinct and learn to repress it. If developing a culture of shaming such behavior by calling it "white knighting" helps that happen, it is a good thing.

This is not white knighting .. was there a girl I was trying to (naively) impress with my response? was I trying to somehow go back in time and protect this girl in this video? No, so that was a dumb thing to bring up

Is it my personal responsibility to hate women extra hard just because society as a whole is going the other direction? No.. what a waste of time and emotional energy.

Think of the guys you know that do best with women -- do they hate women? do they take joy in seeing them in their lowest moments? No. They might think women are flaky and fickle and overly emotional or even can be selfish, dishonest or manipulative at their worst, but they are also a great source of happiness and satisfaction in life if you are good with them and find the right girls

Who are the guys who hate women? The ones who spend years stewing in the emotions of rejection, self-loathing, sexual frustration.. the ones who've been dumped, cheated on and swindled by girls who left them for cooler guys ..

The guys who focus their efforts and energies on taking satisfaction in stuff like this are just getting farther and farther from the true point of this forum -- which is making ourselves happier by getting satisfaction out of our interactions with the fairer gender

You people need to realize the difference between politically being opposed to political trends that favor women and just straight up hating women because you're fucking losers who don't get any

People find humor in a lot of different things and it doesn't mean they lack empathy or sympathy.
