Wax on Wed. and Mi Casa last night (some sort of fare well party)... both places was all you can drink, b/c i guess ppl in taiwan can't drink that much, I know if this was in the states, the place would go bankrupt in 2 days lol are you in taipei?

@ice-pick- you need Chinese or some other extenuating factor to smash the top-tops 8.5+.
Im a big proponent of night street-game before everybody starts drinking. Go out for dinner or for street-food.

Chop up the girls there. Chop up girls on the way to the club. Chop up girls in the club before it gets crazy/rowdy and drunk. It does not matter how big or small the group is . Really.

I was walking w/Tony Snow 25, and i walked up to this group of 3 dudes and 3 girls. It was obvious nobody was dating (no holding hands). I started chatting w/this legit 9. Standard this and that. She was really apprehensive (completely sober), but digging it. The key is to walk reallly slowly, so her friends will slowly get away from her as you talk more. And voila, shes isolated.

Alas, she was going to room 18, we were going to babe 18. =(. I tried to get a #, but it pans out poorly when you are a tourist here.

I speak Chinese =D haha I tried a coupled of ways of starting conversation... mainly starts off with english and then switching to Chinese or a mix of chinese and english depending on how the conversation goes... I heard Myst is the best club in town right now, all the girls I talked to always mentions Myst, so I will have to check that out next week, I'm also going to be working in a hospital and I heard the nurses are usually best looking ones lol if anything, i'll try to befriend some to take me around town lol

Too bad you aren't in Taiwan anymore, would be awesome to meet up, i have just been solo or going out with ppl in my dorm and they usually go for the below avg girls lol but you seem like you know what you are doing ha do you speak chinese and were you able to get one of those 8.5+? I'm going to be here for 5 more weeks, i'l be really disappointed if I don't get one lol

Yea, Im fluent in Chinese. I got a legit 8 on my first night. Ehhh, tbh she jumped on me. By Taiwan standards, I look like a superstar. Tall, half-asian, well-dressed, love to dance hip-hop. So yea, you might have to work a little harder.

Heres some better places to check out from my memory.

Weds- Luxy

A little bit of data on Taiwan clubs from my experiences so far

Babe 18 - complete sausage fest lol AYCD but are super weak, i suppose you can just get shots.... personally I would never go back

Luxy - when I first stepped out of ythe elevator, i was like holy shit, the lasers and everything made it feel amazing, way more hotties than some lower end clubs, have 2 rooms, but only one room gets packed, the other one is mostly empty... the dance floor gets super crowed and you can barely move, but it's good to take a girl over there to get away from her frds to get a make out or smth lol 300NT before 11 with 2 drink ticket 600NT after

AQ CAVA - a small bar right next to luxy that most ppl don't know about, nothing special more of a place to hang with your frds, but they sell 18 shots for 400NT or 800NT or smth like that

Myst - only been there once on a Wed. free b4 11... really nice club, the place/dance floor wasn't as small as I inagined when DVY described it... will def go back again

everyone single girl mentions SPARKS, will have to go check it out, heard it's a smaller place tho and pretty expensive, will see what happens

I've tried both daygame + nightgame these past few weeks and gotten better results from daygame. I've tried bus, street, MRT, and bookstore game and so far I've gotten the most positive responses from the bookstore.

I've been to Barcode, Element, Room 18, and Babe 18 and just meandered around Luxy. I haven't had great results from nightgame, but I think part of it is because I wasn't trying hard enough before.

Luxy sounds cool since I'm a big trance fan but the girls pull-ability seems mixed. I'm also an avid fan of bodybuilding and fitness. I can speak fluent Chinese (except difficult/complex phrases) + English so according to some of you guys here I should be able to kill it...hopefully that's the case lol

I arrived here on Saturday. I went out to Lava last night, made out with one Taiwanese girl. Massive sausage fest haha.

I used to live in Korea, this place is comparatively vastly superior , had a nightmare in Korea (although I got a flag with a woman who is 11 years my senior). People actually make out with each other in the clubs here. Korean girls suck.

I'm not a daygamer, but if you want someone for dance floor game let me know man. I'll probably check out Luxy on Wednesday. Gotta try and find an English teaching job here too, so far I like this city a lot more than I thought I would.

Also I met a Taiwanese gangster last night, friendly guy, he wants me to go out with him next week haha

Yea I'm up for improving my dance game since I've never really pulled using it...had a few lucky grinds but afterwards the girls just went back to their friends lol

How long u here for? Originally I regretted coming to Taiwan, but by the sounds of the day + nightgame reports it's starting to sound better and better.

You should consider going into Luxy. Big, open, main dance floor for approaches and pulling girls into. Circular bar makes it easy to get drinks. Side room for another bar and smaller dance floor. Good for bouncing girls to and from the two rooms.

Only the side room is trance/EDM. Main floor is typical Top 40 stuff.

Luxy is the archetypal Taipei club for ABCs and foreigners, so girls there are self-selected to be more down to meet them. There are also foreigner girls there for you to take a swing at.

There are a lot of places you'll do much much better in I'm sure. I only went on three dates there, two of them through pipe-lining. It's worth noting that I lived in the 7th biggest city in Korea and 5 hours away from Seoul so they were both from other cities. In Seoul I think you could get a lot more dates online. But going out in Seoul sucks, Korea is just boring, it's too xenophobic towards non-Koreans.

I'm loving the small amount of (Beta) foreigners here, fingers crossed this will work out a lot better than Korea. No 'lads on tour' here either, you'd no doubt get that in the South-east Asian countries, although I've never been there so maybe I'm talking rubbish

I still want to visit Korea for reasons other than gaming, but even if the picking is scarce I wanna try opening some Korean sets just for the sake of doing it lol

My top travel places now are Japan, Korea, Taiwan (I need to travel more around this country), and China...be interested to see how game differs in each country

I recall going to a sports bar that was connected to the 2nd floor of Luxy. People inside Luxy were able to go through the door to gain entry into the bar and also to go back out into the club. If you go directly to the sports bar first and didn't buy ticket into Luxy, you would not be able to use that door to get into the club.

I'm curious about Korea as well, but from what I hear about their culture, they tend to stick only with other Koreans and don't mix well with foreigners.

I met up with LeightonBlackstock and went to Luxy around 11pm on Wed night. The scene looked horrible in the beginning, something like 3 or 4 guys to every 1 girl, and the girls we saw were not the 8+ that we saw earlier walking around on Zhongxiao Dunhua. The dance floor was packed with many wingman groups of 3 or 4 that were ready to pounce on any available girl.

As the dance floor got even more packed later on, we started seeing clusters of cute girls going on the dance floor. We approached and started dancing with two cute girls. After the group split up, I spent most of my night dancing with one girl with a super tight body.

It was good on the dance floor as I was able to build on the physical attraction, holding her body close while dancing, and the vibe was really good when she reciprocated, holding me close to her during the night.

We bounced to the quieter side of the club to get drinks and back out on the dance floor. At one point, I asked her to leave with me and she was concerned about leaving with her friend. She felt relieved when we found her friend later, and after a little more dancing, her friend decided to leave and my girl chose to stay with me. Yep, Dekendingo stayed with the first girl he approached all night, she was very good looking from what I remember. I tried to chat up her friend and dance with her but failed massively. For the first hour and a half I had a terrible time, I don't like how crowded the dance floor is and I kept insisting that Lava was better.

After I did a Beta job with the girl's friend I went around on my own for over an hour. I found two douchey guys from the hostel and they were like 'hang with us man', I thought they might be ok to utilise to make it look like I had friends but I quickly ditched them as they were bringing down any small credibility I still maintained. I went to the smaller room and danced, no luck, then the big room, right into the middle, no luck, despite a few half-arsed approaches. then got two drinks to make myself drunker.

Then about one hour after I last saw Dekendingo I stood on the edge of the main dance floor an danced a little and was squinting my eyes to try and gurn (I sometimes do this but I don't think it does anything lol). Then I noticed this knockout (9/10, hopefully I can prove this in a few hours) whisper to her friend about me, and her two friends take a few paces away from her, so I think 'fuck it'.

She looked like the sort of girl who'd be like 'NOOOO' but 10 seconds later I was grinding her. I directed her to come with me to the smaller dance room to dance and she obliged straight away, I even asked permission from her friends. Then for at least one and a half hours I was dancing with her, grinding with her, making out with her on the dance floors, making out with her in one of the booths, making out with her sat down in the lobby, was good times in the end. I didn't have a phone so I had to ask the bartender for a pen to write down her email address on the hostel card. The unfortunate thing is that I'm living in a hostel so I couldn't invite her back, despite my hinting of what she was doing after. She seemed really up for meeting this evening so fingers crossed she replies. If not I'm gonna be banging my head against a wall for not finding a motel

@ person looking for motel- They have these "accomodated living apartments" near MRT stations. Its basically a motel. Costs about 50 buxs/night but is in prime area w/your own bed. I stayed at San Want Hotel (90/night), right across the luxy, but that might be a little above your price range.

I learned tonight my nightclub game definitely needs work lol

Cliffs:
-daygame @ Taipei MRT for warmup
-hung out w/female friend
-was gonna see movie together
-got too late parted ways
-decide to hit up Luxy dolo
-sucked at nightgame lol

First time at Luxy and it definitely wasn't as packed tonight cuz everyone is probably home with their families for the special occasion.

I actually like the whole scene and vibe...seems better than Room 18 and Babe 18 from my experiences, but I'm not writing any venue off atm

I learned tonight I need to either (1) hang out near the hallway to the restrooms and open as many girls as I can with talk/ramble game or (2) up my caveman/dance game.

I opened a few sets near the circular bar, but it always ended up with them saying huh, leaning over and still not understanding what I said.

I actually really enjoy the trance music and got in a good mood, but I have little clue on how to execute dance / caveman game.

From your reports, it looks like you guys pull well from the dancefloor. Not many people tonight so I felt a little awkward trying to go to the dancefloor and pull, but f' it I shouldn't let that be an excuse. But tonite all the dime pieces seemed to be congregated in groups of 3 or 4 by the bar. Not too many of them went to the dancefloor. Not sure how to execute in this situation.

I remember seeing some kind of motel just right at the exit of Luxy (downstairs), take left and keep checking the venues there. At least I think it was a motel, it was like a very small door-like entrance and we saw many couples go in. My chinese at that time was non-existent so I never really knew if it was or not. You guys better check it out and report back

if you speak fluent chinese, you can hunt the bottle service tables/bar and chat up the dudes who introduce you to girls. This was gold. Id get a lot of free drinks too.

Story 1- walking w/girl through club. sit down at table w/8 girls and 2 dudes to tie my shoes. Start chatting w/dude. Girls get comfortable. We start chatting. Def. some potential there.

Story 2- early in the night. walk up to group near bar. Order my vodka drinks, start chatting w/1 dude, then the group. They start pouring me drinks from their bottle and introduce me all around.

1. Myst has the hottest girls i've seen anywhere in Taipei.

2. Taiwanese girls seem to be super polite and compliant compared to their mainland cousins which threw me off a bit in the beginning as I was a little unsure of why I was getting such treatment and large levels of compliance....

For example I opened a girl and was grinding with her, her guy friend came over to pull her away, i pulled her back and talked to her.

Turns out it was her bf and i asked 'wtf doesn't he come over and say 'this is my girlfriend ^%$^%$ and pull you away like all the insecure dudes from Mainland do?' and her reply was something like 'oh it's ok, he knows i'm not gonna go home with anyone else so he doesn't mind'....i was left very WTF.

I've had this experience countless times where Taiwanese dudes seem very chilled out and secure about their girls or at least don't see the need to freak out and be all needy if their girls are talking to a foreigner.


IMO Taiwanese girls are the closest you can get to J girls while in China without actually having a J girl (fun, cute, polite, friendly, have a personality, amazing fashion).

It's more like they're too emasculated to do anything about it. It's a huge slap in the face for your girl to be grinding on some guy, knowing you won't do jack shit.

Taiwanese men are considered to be more... effeminate.

The guy is apparently American but his caricature of a young Taiwanese male's accent is spot on. Even has a line about a Taiwanese guy's girlfriend getting chatted up at the bar.
