Some combination of absurd female self esteem, rampant PUA culture, and the general frostiness of the city has created a perfect storm of nigh-insurmountable bitch shields. If you can get past those bitch shields via a social circle or scene, you have a much easier road to the hot girls.

You could kill it anywhere with status... IMO the reason TO sucks for most guys is because it does require tons of effort to get laid here.

However, its not impossible via cold approach, you just have to have solid game. Two of my friends have been going out since August around 5-6 times a week and their game has started getting solid. One of them(no money, no real status, skinny, and not good looking at all) fucked a 8 Ukranian girl in the stairwell of the Sheraton from a high end venue. The other better looking friend of mine got a bj from a 5 on Thursday, and then fucked a 6.5 later that same night. He's also fucking a 7.5 on the regular. They both live far away from downtown, so logistics are horrible too. The only thing they have going for them is that they have cleaned up their style and dress fairly well.

Both guys are young(19-20) and are pulling from cold approach, even if they have to put a shitton of effort in.

Both have had multiple lays this year already. The talent they started with was not impressive in any way but they are hooking up with hotter girls now. I think the main thing in Toronto is to let go of your ego and do whatever it takes to build your confidence, even if it means hooking up with a 4. Because of bad logistics both of them are becoming pretty good at pulling to club bathrooms or random spots like stairwells.

I could see them fucking 3-4 hot girls each month within the end of summer if they keep improving at their current rate.

Well due to more American guys visiting...either by NBA players bringing their circle to Toronto or by people like YOURS TRULY running my fat mouth...American guys were no longer a novelty. The Toronto chicks had already experienced being "pumped and dumped" and being lied to (like me saying I would visit every month, etc) so it was no longer a big thing to date an American. Add in B.E.T. and it's urban-American mindset being projected on the Toronto women and you have now a set of chicks that made you work.

It wasn't that we could not bang in Toronto. Me and my boys still banged chicks every visit BUT it was the growing effort in doing so. I found myself staring at the ceiling with a Toronto chick laying next to me, thinking...."Damn, I had to work almost as hard as I do with a DC chick".

Well F*CK working hard after traveling...so I slowly stopped visiting Toronto.

Very accurate. Exactly what I said in my post. You can get laid from cold approaches here but the work you have to put-in to bang 5s and 6s is mind boggling. You definitely have to lower your standards many nights and also get used to flaking if you are only meeting girls through cold approaches.

this guy is a prime example. his name's steve - i've met him and you might have too. he moved to toronto in late 2012 i believe from hamilton. he buys into everything rsd and is morbidly positive about cold approaching. he puts his all into the game. hardly an ugly weirdo, he has decent looks and a decent vibe. he goes out night after night after night, racking up hundreds of approaches, escalating things as far as they can go with a boldness and moxy that few men can come close to. while he's not perfect, in a just world, with his advanced skillset, he should be standing head and shoulders above the rest.

yet in that link i count only 4 or so snls in what must be at least a thousand approaches, not all of which are reported in the journal. that's a less than a half percent success rate.

i'm happy i spent 1 1/2 years doing night game, in spite of the dismally low ROI. there was no better social bootcamp for me. but with how much i've progressed now i feel i should change gears. all the nights and hours i would spend at a toronto bar or club can be spent on more worthwhile opportunities: daygame, online game, getting swole, classes/meetups for warm approach, learning languages, etc.

I agree fully with torontokid and some of what you said. I don't care for the guys going out 5-6 nights because most of us will never have the time to do that, even if you have the drive. This is the only thing that I don't agree with, other than that he is right.

Also, to be clear I am not a fan of RSD of their hyper-approach game. From what I understand Toronto is a difficult city to get a ONS. If you are only looking for SNLs, I am not sure if Toronto can offer that. As I said in my other post in this thread, I have never had a ONS here. The reason is that when you are out and about in Toronto, most of the people are not really from Toronto. They are from Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Guelph, Woodbridge, North York, and Hamilton etc. This makes getting SNLs very difficult. The only way to get SNLs in Toronto is to live downtown and even then it will be difficult because girls come in groups from all the other cities and may not be down to come to your place.

Maybe others can chime in on this but I only do "old-school" night game where I am collecting phone numbers. Granted this has a high flake rate but it's what works for me (otherwise I would only be relying on social circle to get new bangs).

bodmon, you are right that in Toronto day game and other types of game are important and my day game right now is pretty much non-existent but I am working on it. Relying on night games means talks to girls and getting a makeout and a phone number. The fact that the Greater Toronto Area leads to a congregation of nightlife in Toronto means that the average player can't expect SNLs from approaches (at least I don't). This is not to say that there aren't good clubs in other cities but if you are just gaming in Toronto (whether or not you live in Toronto is almost irrelevant), I wouldn't only go for SNLs.

In the end, we are all reaching the same conclusion. To get laid here you have to put in a lot of effort to bang an average girl. I can't wait to move out of here eventually and explore other cities.

G - Montreal guys NEVER come to Toronto to swoop girls. I am in my 40's and don't EVER recall being out at night and bumping into someone from Montreal. I knew a gay guy that moved here from Montreal for work, keep in mind Toronto is a huge pride city. He ended up moving back to Montreal and simply loves living there, despite being gay he is a great contact to have in Montreal.
In my heyday I was in Montreal 5x in one year. I would love to spend more time there but the winters are brutal.
Vancouver guys love there city and view Toronto as some evil place. Vancouver has that west coast vibe and the place is more chilled that Tdot.

I grew up in Toronto and I got out of there. Let me explain Toronto in the best way I can. Toronto is a LTR (Long Term Relationship) city. Every chick I know in Toronto has been in a relationship for 3+ years.

I must also say that I don't know why but all my friends that I knew from outside of my school always had difficulty getting laid. It was okay until high school we'd all get girls. But as we hit our 20s it became impossible in a way because every girl we knew had a bf or was going out with some guy who had a nicer car than all of us. I never owned a car and usually relied on my friends for that. But until high school getting pussy seemed really easy because girls just wanted to get fucked and it was really easy to fuck them too.

For me the proof that Toronto is BAD, BAD, BAD for getting laid is the fact that I found myself googling about how to pick up girls and I ended up on this forum along with others. I would like to think that I have an okay social circle, I lost my virginity at 14 and I don't think I'm socially awkward. I'm in good physical shape etc. My family moved out of Toronto and got a house in Richmond Hill a few years ago which is north of Toronto where most of the hot girls are but I was still running dry.

Now I don't know which clubs/venues those guys are going to where they're racking up sluts and fucking them in stairways. Fucking in stairways does not happen in any Toronto hotels. At least I have never seen or heard anybody do that and plenty of my friends work as toy cops (security guards). No matter which party/place you go to, there is always 20 to 25 guys for every one girl present and you have to be alpha/rich/muscular/nice car++ to score any decent pussy. The women know that and it just becomes a horrible feedback loop. In my opinion this is the wrong path to scoring pussy because then you're just getting yourself part time hookers.

My friend used to work as a promoter for club called Frequency and another club I forget the name of a few years ago, and even he complained about not getting enough pussy so that is all the proof I need for myself.

I'd also like to add that despite this whole mumbo-jumbo about 'multiculturalism' there is an undertone of a little bit of racial tension in Toronto/GTA. I have experienced racism occasionally from chics and other people in Toronto and I grew up there. For some FUCKING reason every chick wants to know your racial background as if they're looking for husbands. This is not normal behaviour. One friend of mine totally gave up on Toronto after he experienced racism from girls on more than enough occasions just because he was trying to pick them up. I'm not saying Toronto is good, and all these guys would do 10 X better somewhere else, but IF YOU ARE STUCK, you make the most of it instead of complaining about how hard TO is.

Maximize effort in and your output will be maximized. That's the same rule for anything in life, whether business, game, or the gym. The guys who do it "moderately" end up not getting any real success.

Its all about perspective and having a good crew that pushes you. Negativity never helps.

More of a general observation on the city than a game one. I've lived in quite a few places in Southern Ontario (TO included), and I've fucked way more girls from smaller towns and cities (London, Hamilton, Waterloo, Kingston, Ottawa etc etc etc) than I have Toronto girls.

One thing people who haven't been to, or haven't lived in Toronto don't understand; Vegas is Sin City, NYC is the City that never sleeps, LA is Hollywood...if I were to suggest a name for Toronto, it'd be The City of the Overstatement (another point...the city lacks its own identity, which is why the media jizzes in their pants whenever they get compared to London or NYC, but that's neither here nor there). There isn't a city on the planet with a bigger inferiority complex than Toronto; it seems like a lot of people want the city to be New York, but there can only be one New York.

This is a city with a metro population of around 6 million people, yet when there were 52 gun-related homicides one year, it was dubbed 'the year of the gun' (compare to Kansas City, about 40% the size of Toronto, where there were 90 gun-related homicides in 2012).

This is a city where bad game can get you arrested (a few years ago something similar happened at Vaughan Mills, but I can't find the news story).

This is a city where some man with the audacity to speak about the trials faced by boys in today's feminized society is protested down.

This is a city where, if it's hockey team makes the playoffs, even if they get smacked in four or five games in the first round (which is the most likely result), there will be people cheering and dancing in the streets like Earth Mother Gaia, the Goddess of Femininity and Tolerance, just showed up and decided to walk around giving out life lessons and free blowjobs, and three years later will still be talking about it.

Do you see where I'm going with all this? Minor, inconsequential shit (well okay, the gun-violence isn't minor or inconsequential, but it's certainly not a city where you're unsafe walking alone at night) gets blown out of proportion. Relevance is given to things that are irrelevant, and this impacts the personality of the locals far deeper than you can imagine.

Not just the events and the news; everything is overstated in Toronto; the political correctness (I read that the new premier is a dyke...get the fuck outta here), the Feminism, the sensationalized news, the gradual Socialization of the country; if you hate one aspect of Canadian culture in a place like Moose Jaw, Digby or Flin Flon, it's fifty times worse in Toronto. The city is simultaneously self-important and afraid of anything that differs even slightly from the mean. As women take their cues largely from the environment that they live in (how many times you meet a girl and she meets new friends, and suddenly she's walking, talking and acting like them?), you can't help but make the obvious connection; Toronto women's shitty attitudes come from the sensationalized, staid environment in which they live.

Add in thirsty guys with no game, nightmarish logistics and the fact that most of the choicest girls are locked into LTRs (though I've found quite many of them like to have a 'secret' guy on the side, either for the purpose of variety, affirmation or monkey-branching...I have been more than one girl's 'secret' guy, and my game veers more into chilled-out and icy-veined pimp than dancing-clown skullduggery, something to consider; because they have so many options, building attraction with Toronto lizards is more important than building rapport) you can see why it's not exactly a super-easy scene. To get laid consistently with high-quality women in Toronto, you basically need at least intermediate-level game (among which having good frame is paramount - these chicks will test you until the day you drop dead) and three of four things; a good social circle, favorable logistics, status or reputation and CA$H. It's also a place where you almost need to be good looking and sharply-dressed to even stand a chance, but I'm not wanting to ignite the powder-keg of looks versus game.

The real sad thing? With the massive variety of girls (where else can you bang a hipster girl, a Puerto Rican girl, an Okinawan girl and a blonde-haired-blue-eyed co-ed in the same month, outside of NYC?), Toronto really could be great, but it's always been a place where people come to work and make a living, not to live it up, and what does this create? thirsty guys with zero game and self-important women.

The upside? If you put in the work and get the results, you massively flatten your game learning curve.

Many of the people on here complain about smart phone era women (short attention span, masculine, dishonest, etc) , yet they spend most of their time chasing them in places where these women congregate. Then they act as if these are the only kinds of women anyone can end up with and what works to get them is the only way to get any woman.
