RE: On Toronto, DC, and all the other cities guys are complaining about
From an outsider who's only ever seen DC and not Toronto, and had admittedly little experience with DC, while a portion of it may be true--that social circle is important--DC is clearly skewed to lizards. Lots of military and high-status men which raises your competition massively, plus the environment. It's POSSIBLE, but it's the issue of return on investment. Plus some people only can run certain kinds of game, not for lack of effort but just for who they are. Like I can't run high-energy touchy feely dance game--it just doesn't work, not because of lack of skill/knowledge but just because that's not WHO I AM (I'm extreme polar opposite--very relaxed, laid back, etc.)

Good answer with valid points. Like I said though, I've been living in Hampton Roads area of VA (look it up), so take DC or Toronto and x10. I'll gladly trade places. I'm not arguing with anyone in regard to the return on investment. However, the women here are still fucking so you gotta figure out how to tap into that if you can't get out in the forseeable future. Social circles, lowering standards are all part of this. You may not like that answer, and neither do I, but from a very raw 'getting pussy' standpoint, you need to work these things. Thanks for everyones responses. I appreciate the learning experience .
@rudebowy: I agree about the women harem thing. However, I'm talking from a pure 'putting your dick in pussy' standpoint based on the area I'm currently residing. I don't want to be part of a harem either (i've done the STD scare along with the pregnancy scare, serious psychological tests right there), but when you gotta get laid, all i'm suggesting is game adaptations. As economies slow down in the west, the value of men, even the 'beta men' (I hate that term b/c I think some of these guys are so critical to the dominance of a nation) will start to shine. Oh you're a 'marketing major sweetie'? Yeah, they'll go from 6 figure salaries to unemployment in no time. Also I've visited since '07 but i was out with friends so it was a different scene. I agree with you about the changes, and they are shitty, but survival isn't about the strongest or smartest, but the most apt to adapt. And I was just trying to outline some ways to adapt. I didn't want to stir up the hornet's nest. Just trying to add some input since all can't get away from some of these spots at the drop of a hat (like my current situation). But yes foreign tail is much better. However, 330 mill. of us still reside in the US and Canada. Good hunting boys.
PS. Just curious rudebowy (and others feel free to chime in). Since 2007, what have been the most noticeable changes in Toronto?

Urban Nerd - those days were heaven compared to now. Summers in the city were off the hook, everyone got food and you didn't have to "game" them.
I will confirm that American guys would do serious damage here, even local guys started to act "American". Caribana was an awesome event, girls from all over looking to party. I stopped going a few years ago, far too many cellulite chicks for my liking and the violence does not help.
Nek - I hear what you are saying, call it laziness but I don't want to game 30 plus single mom's. My mentality is why eat spam when you have tasted grade A steak. I couldn't tell you what happened in the city, I will say the quality of girls has fallen off over the years and girls are getting bigger. So naturally supply and demand had decreased. I know a lot of dudes who are bending over backwards for women, which does not help the situation.
I am not a huge fan of North America, there are only a handful of spots I would party or consider visiting.
Take a visit to Europe and then tell me what you think?

The Michigan plates was just an example, I am not blaming them or the NBA team. Things for whatever reason got worse, the mindset of women has changed dramatically.
When I returned back to Toronto, every dude was talking about POF. When I left in 2006 online dating was considered for losers, now it has become mainstream. Sadly, I believe ugly girls are getting love from these sites in Toronto.
As Nerd stated, most sane guys will venture 30-50 km outside the city in either direction for a better nightlife experience.
Luckily, we have Montreal 5 hours up the street which is a very popular spot for Torontonians. Funny how you don't meet a lot of Montreal women coming to Toronto for the weekend.

A lot of girls all over Canada are/have been coming to Vancouver. From back East, from the Prairies, from the Maritimes, even from Quebec. I don't have any statistics (anybody?) but my experience and anecdotal evidence says that there are more fly girls now in Vancouver than in the past.
I think they come for the weather, the lifestyle, the scene, maybe even work in certain fields (although Vancouver is not necessarily *the* place to make a career)
Side note: btw, why does it always feel like the past was more fun? Like in the late 90s people were more fun, girls were more wild and there were way more crazy festivals and concerts and debauchery going on compared to now?

Dude, that is fucked up majorly... I didn't know that. We have a woman premier here in BC as well... she is a mix between a bimbo and a spineless politician... I think they call her the "sail" because her stand changes depending on which way the political wind blows.
I don't feminism is so strong in Vancouver. Some girls are like that for sure, but most girls like the strong, self-made man. In the suburbs, guys with a big truck and big muscles pick up easily. The western cowboys culture is still in effect in the suburbs. Vancouver, especially east Van and Main street are different though.
Anyway, I think Vancouver has been on the upswing when it comes to girls. I feel like the quality has been getting better, not worse over time. Maybe it's just my perspective and bias since a few things changed for me over past three years: a) I moved downtown which is an awesome dense area of pussy concentration, b) I have been single recently, c) I have more time now to go out and be out there than before.

RE: On Toronto, DC, and all the other cities guys are complaining about
Toronto is a great city for overall talent, but its a hard city to crack unless you have your niche. The girls who move to TO don't do it for the ambiance and efficient public transportation system, they come to find and fuck the finance, law, entertainment, etc up and comers. It's a great city for the guys who have something going on, but if you're cold approaching without the obvious markers of superficial status, you're going to have a bad time.
This is all you need to know about dating a girl from Toronto:

Moma mentioned Ottawa. Ottawa has decent quality of girls, lots of them, and generally weak competition. Ottawa is the easiest city in the world to bang 7s and 8s. Top talent is hard to find though. Proximity to Gatineau and Hull is nice though.

I'm assuming the TO guys have tried every reasonable venue...not just clubs, but book stores, bars, etc.
I haven't spent significant time in TO in a few years so I'm not an expert on the situation there. So, take the word of Moma, kosko et al over mine. But I have several close friends in Toronto and they are all doing very well for themselves within their niches.
One is a liquor brand rep whose job is to throw sick parties all over the city and recruit beer tub girls.
One is a PT with a U of T women's sports team.
One is a D-list stand up comic.
One is a minor celebrity in a local music scene.
They are all killing it in Toronto. So, any guy who says Toronto is an impossible nut to crack is dead wrong. There are beautiful girls all over the city, someone must be banging them.
But... and here is where the Toronto hate comes from... TO is a brutal city for cold approaches. Some combination of absurd female self esteem, rampant PUA culture, and the general frostiness of the city has created a perfect storm of nigh-insurmountable bitch shields. If you can get past those bitch shields via a social circle or scene, you have a much easier road to the hot girls.

Do you guys notice that the girls become easier from cold approach and the "bitch shields" come down a bit when it warms up in June or July compared to the rest of the year?
