Soup is right, the population drops in the summer. Between vacation, school, and traveling there is less action. But that is ok too as MD mentioned.

Money? It will just get in the way. The trendiest places in Manhattan have celebrities, billionaires, and multimillionaires many times over, buying bottle service and staying in the nicest hotel means nothing by itself. (Though one tip, if you do live in a place by yourself that seems way too big for one person, you can attract a fair amount of attractive dwelling-diggers who think that they might be able to get free rent from you.)

For the volume you are aiming for, go for 18-30 year old girls, go to grungy places and dive bars, like the ones that are common in the lower east side. Its possible, but it would be impossible based on my standards.

why?
simply you will not be as sharp as someone who dedicate more focus and energy than you as he will not be working in an environment like inveatment banking. as an intern. you will be earning very little. be the lowest ofthe lowest of the ladder and alot of your time will be spent

quantity is quality in NYC.

Also, for those saying nyc empties out, dont a lot of people (tourists) just go back into the city during the summer, so does it somewhat even out.

You don't need money!!!! Although it would be 100x better in terms of logistics & convenience...

Summer time loses alot of locals in AUGUST but regardless lots of european interns flood the city in summer. MPD area, the venues will always have large crowds. Even right now in Jan-Feb the top venues are packed.

Your best bet realistcally though is living in williamsburg or LES, it'll make daygame easier. Nighttime if you can get women off the street who are hitting the top venues you can sorta bluff your way...Go str8 up "Hey I'm xyz, hows everything? I'm here with 2-3 girl"...

20 is doable...
