She gave me her number after I ran elderly game on her (described in Day Bang.) I texted her a few days later as instructed in Roosh's text guide. I asked her if she wanted to hang out later in the week but she said that she has a BF but that I could tag along with her and her friends. I found her answer to be strange because she gave me tons of IOI's when I met her.

I replied 'alright' and didn't say anything else to her after that. Should I send another msg to this girl next week or should I move on?

Also I wouldn't wait a few days to contact her. Get back to her while the memory of you is still fresh and solidify the plans to meet her.

Wouldn't bother if I was you. Unless you've got a few mates you might as well go link up with her mates altogether so you can bail if it's shit.

This is why I prefer a more direct approach when pulling girls and escalating sexually very quickly so they know why you're approaching them. You'll get the boyfriend excuse earlier than you did here and can plow through it and see if she's interested sexually too which makes the texting easier to meet up some time. No doubt the elderly game works, just a personal preference.

She asked me at least 3 personal questions. What my job is, how old I am and how tall I am (since I'm tall.) I rambled A LOT about traveling and so on. I didn't ask her many questions but she told me things without me asking.

I actually didn't even ask for her number, she just gave it to me. Which is why I don't understand why she gives the "i got a boyfriend' excuse now.

Maybe I should have texted her the next day instead of after 3 days.

You're thinking too much. Next her. There are a lot of reasons why she rejected you, that can happen even if you've got the tightest game. You're a player, not a detective, so find another lizard.

Approach a hundred girls and odds are, the ones who give seem interested in the beginning but later won't answer your calls are going to be somewhere in the double digits.

Move on.

She gave you the infamous "pity phone number" just to get rid of you just like you would give a piece of candy to your little bratty kid cousin to shut him up. I guess it was like blablabla blablabla blablabla about some random shit followed by phone number completely irrelevant to your conversation. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Whether she has a BF or not doesn't matter. She doesn't want to talk to you again cause your first encounter was too friendly and too flat. She just had fun conversation with you. That's all.
