RE: Musings on Latin American Chicks
Brazil's sort of like the USA in that they have everything. A friend of mine in Parana is Portuguese, black, indian, and a bit of German. He's always telling me about his exploits with some of the local girls, who include a full-blooded Italian, a full-blooded Ukrainian, a couple of mestizas, a Japanese girl, a half Japanese half German girl, a girl whose race I'm not sure about but she looks like an all-American blonde, etc etc.

Brazil is awesome in that sense, plus they don't really care about race. Economically the white people there are from the middle to upper classes, but it isn't as racially stratified as Argentina is in terms of attitude. Well, Argentina is almost all white, and they're pretty racist from what I've been told by Brazilian friends. White Nationalists would pretty much hate the Brazilian mindset of post-racialism.

Helô Pinheiro comes from an aristocratic Portuguese-Brazilian family. Here's her daughter Ticiane Pinheiro:

In 2003, at age 58, Helô posed nude for Playboy with Ticiane. One of the weirdest Playboy covers ever:

That's what I like about Brazil. You can have a 1st/2nd generation Brazilian of Japanese descent there as I would personally consider them every bit as "Latin American" as people from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Columbia, or Panama with the predominant Hispanic (Iberian), Indigenous, or other mixed origins.

I can't wait to check out Belo Horizonte one of these days. I'm more for the girls with the in between look, more the morenas.

Brazilian guys have seen millions of "morenas" in their lives. They want blondes, so they put the beautiful blonde "gaúcha" on a pedestal. That is what Ana Hickmann represents: the ideal of beauty for many Brazilian men. Redheads are highly exotic, too. Some American-Irish ginger chick who many Americans would consider a hillbilly can suddenly become a goddess in Brazil. Americans and Scandinavians, on the other hand, have seen plenty of blondes and redheads. They want "morenas".

Everyone wants what they do not have. Traveling is arbitraging the sexual markets.

Yeah it's quite sad how lot of Brazilian dudes from the different regions are so intimidated by and really put gauchas on a pedestal. These guys saw me cracking a tightly knit social circle at Black Swan in Floripa. I told them gauchas are typically more chill and easier to crack, but they responded with "those chicks are even harder than catarienses" in disbelief. Now when I was in Porto Alegre, I saw a lot of mixed couples particularly darker guys with chicks possessing blond hair blue eyed girlfriends. These guys were however gauchos meaning they were locals who had the edge in terms of perhaps a built-in social scene and the "local trust factor" working in their favor.

Now a Brazilian guy of 100% European descent from say Sao Paulo or Parana who goes down to Rio Grande do Sul to pick up chicks is likely not going to do as well since he doesn't possess local connections or trust factor. The fact that he has the pedestal "mentality" is in itself a game killer to begin with already. Then again, those same types of dudes who maybe try to visit Natal in the NE while hitting on their local chicks there are probably going to do as bad bc Brazilians can be very territorial clique-ish people. Not saying dating amongst Brazilians from different regions is non-existent but the multi-region couples in tact stem from months & even years of earning that trust to be in the relationship that they are in now via social circle through boarding school, university, or professional spheres. With the bureaucratic nonsense of living in stratified Brazilian society, it really is no wonder why there are so many Brazilian guys and girls eager to find love outside of the country via Europe or North America.

That's also why I think a foreigner with game, style, and Portuguese ability visiting or temporarily living in Brazil is going to be much more of an anomaly in terms of cracking those territorial social barriers aka "game changer."

As for me, I am guilty of putting women from Sao Paulo on a pedestal. I'm a big fan of the Italian, Lebanese, Syrian, whatever mix they have going down in that state as all the Paulistas I've met in the US all have serious American white boyfriends or fiancees. I've met 5 or 6 of them here, and the fact that I haven't been able to initiate a damn thing pisses me off lol.
