Oh yeah, forgot about her. My vote would be for Azarenka (who is, incidentally No. 1 in the world as well). Easy on the eyes...but harsh on the ears. I usually mute the TV whenever I see her play. I hope Li Na kicks her ass in the final today

Its hard to find time to do both. You can't practice tennis for 10-12 hrs a day and the and still find time to refine social/female skills. Something has to give.

This is why I believe the top elite in any craft be it entertainment and sports consistently getting hot tail is a fraud. Most of these kats know nothing other then what they are good at and a lot of them are nerds. You end-up finding them in dodgy relationships (Kanye West, Tiger woods) or with girls whom are way below them (Federer) simply because they don't know any better. Ask them about their respected sport and they will school you on it, ask them about women and they will not no much.

i agree that not all women are mentally weak. what azarenka did was breathtaking given how much the crowd hated her and wanted her to fold. she's a human, not a robot, and that would have hurt her badly.

but on the flipside, author fails to point out crowds strongly prefer men's tennis not because they're sexist but because it's a better product. women should be happy they don't have to play best of 5 sets and get paid the same as men regardless. the reason it's better to pay them off than make them play best of 5 sets is because they physically wouldn't handle it and the crowds wouldn't want to attend - it would hold up the programme, sponsors and TV and fans would all complain.

name one popular sport where women are recognised on an equal level to men: basketball, golf, football? it just doesn't happen, they're weaker and less skilled. it would be the same as giving equal recognition to the junior boys tennis - most of whom would thrash professional adult women players.
