New Year's Eve Abroad?
Any guys on here have plans to spend New Year's Eve outside North America?

I'm open to traveling anywhere, leaning towards Europe, for 1-2 weeks but will probably only go if I can get an invite to a kick-ass private party somewhere.

I once spent New Year's Eve at a public club in Paris and it was a total waste. Filled with Moroccan/Algerian guys with gold teeth and cheap suits stalking tourist girls from Australia all night long. That was not a good night.

New Year in Europe is kind of Thanksgiving in USA - typically celebrated at home, with your family and friends.

New Years in Yurop is celebrated with family and maybe friends if they are close. People never drive to some social gathering like they do in NYC.
Fireworks are available for anyone though.

RE: New Year's Eve Abroad?
The biggest new year's celebration and gathering of people in the world is in Rio, spceially on Copacabana beach. That's one of the things that are very high on my list of things to attend, for next year. If you can make it there this year, you won't regret it but you better book your accommodations asap if not, be prepared to shell quite a lot, specially if you want to be near the action. If you can, try to stay somewhere on Avenida Atlantica so you can see the fireworks from your balcony, then before midnight go to the beach with everyone else. During NY's, it's very difficult to find a cab as the streets are paralyzed and a lot of people just party all night on the beach and go home only the next day at sunrise. If you can afford it and want to be really balling VIP style, stay at the Copacabana Palace, the only 5 star in South America as that's where all the best fireworks will be right in front of the Copacabana Palace. All in all, a whole lot of fun, specially if you can afford to stay right on Avenida Atlantica. Oh and make sure you're dressed all in white otherwise you'd look totally out of place.

RE: New Year's Eve Abroad?
I had a lot of fun for New Years in Brazil, but I was in Guarapari. The funnest New Years I've had though was in the states in Las Vegas. Brazilian New Years Eve from my experience is much like New Years in the states, but "the states new years" for me is new years in Vegas, so other peoples experiences in other places could be different than mine as to what New Years in the states is.

BKK is just too far for me right now for a NYE party. I am trying to stay in the Americas or E.E (south, central or north)

Undecided

RE: New Year's Eve Abroad?
To be honest, Pattaya is P4P central and not worth it at all if you want non pros. I was there for a week last month and after a couple of days, I couldn't wait fast enough to return to BKK. The only thing good about Pattaya is you can do some cool activities like sky diving and go to some decent islands like Ko Samet. Other than that, a wast of time when it comes to swooping non pros.
For new years, I'll be at 90% in BKK. Right before new years, i'd have to do a visa run and leave the country, probably for a day to Cambodia. Then in January, that's when I'll hit the beaches, but for new years, it's looking like I'll be in BKK and I hear there are some sick parties around that time of the year and there are some truly world class clubs here filled with babe galores.
Let me know if/when you come to BKK.

Cheers.

Not really true, I had couple of semi non-pros there.
And for someone who comes to Thailand for a week and doesn't speak Thai a chance to meet a true non-pro (which I define as someone who does NOT freelance at all, and excludes those who do even if they don't ask you any money) is very slim anyway.

Next time though I gonna go to Chiang Mai, as the amount of attention I received in Pattaya (and amount of Russians I've met) really annoyed me.

Yeah I bagged a thai hotel receptionist when I was last there and got to 3rd base with a 23 year old Chinese virgin (yes I am serious).

Was kinda funny being surrounded by all that poon for sale and ignoring all of it and gaming the hell out of a virgin lol. Prob the only virgin in pattaya.

RE: New Year's Eve Abroad?
Change of plans fellas...Me and my guys will be spending the entire time in Philippines from December 23rd to January 5th. Going to do this 1st weekend in Manila then check Cebu then head out to Borocay for New Years. It really came down to finding accomodations/flights this time of year to hit the Islands in Thailand was proving to be a bit difficult. We couldve just stuck with Bangkok the whole time but the Phils seemed to be cheaper overall so we decided to just park it in the Phils for the entire time without all that hopping around so this time I should get a little deeper in the "Fly Filipina" game since I will be there a bit longer. If anyone is around and wants to Swoop heavily in Manila, Cebu or Borocay during that time let me know. Saludos!

Have fun, glad I'm not you....it sounds like you never been to Copa on NYE. Be ready to have drunk Brazilian men push you, spit on you, cock-block you all while stepping on dog-shit and watching streams of Urine down the street.Yeah, It is jam-packed, but packed with sweaty, smelly and drunk cockblocker galore. You'll have more fun at a Thermas called Centaurus (pros) and less bullshit to deal with.

Not for me!!

Hopefully that was on the last day you stayed there. I heard some nightmare stories from guys who did it on the second day, and had a lot of issues during the rest of their stay once they start bringing other women into their rooms. Same goes for bringing a girl from a bar very close to your hotel. Both are considered loss of face, and this is serious shit there. As my parents said, "don't shit where you eat".

Usually, in the city center there'll be some sort of event with turbofolk artists. Don't do that, unless you like the cold and enjoy balkan music.

Most belgrade club and bars are hosting NYE parties costing between 20-50 euros, often covering unlimited drinks and food. This is where you want to go. Many croats and slovenians will be traveling there for the parties, this is good. Most westerners will be home away from this jewel of a city, maybe busy planning their upcoming generic summer trips, this is also good.

Accommodations are a bit of a bitch. Day-to-day apartment rentals get their prices yanked up and fill up. Same dealio for hotels and many of them are not of very good quality either.

Check out clubbing.rs which has an outlook of everything that's going on in belgrade and novi sad (nova godina = new year).
