All the places I've never been off the touristy path, lol. I was suckered into Barcelona by my older sister who was disappointed by it also but the other places are apparently Valencia, Sevilla, Granada, San Sebastien, Madrid, and Malaga..perhaps Alicante. It's still a city with a lot of worthy sights, but I just didn't feel comfortable there.

G, Malaga is full of brits, that side of spain all the way up to Benidorm (near Alicante) is littered with british ex pats who own swathes of real estate and villas. Alicante was really vibrant when I visited 2 years back, lots of cute spanish chicks but there were also various gangs of Brits who did their best to cockblock and generally give the spanish there a denigrated view of anyone speaking english.

There's about a million brits living in spain, they are generally in Andalucia, Valencia and Murcia provinces. It's a shame because those provinces have some of the finest spanish cities and prettiest spanish girls.

I should add knowing Spanish in these areas can sometimes be a disadvantage due to the Brits who have no spanish skills using 'ola' and shit in patronising ways. Just asking 'how good is your english' works well.

Great point. The other good tip would be developing fluency in Spanish as well! Where there is a will, there is a way.

I was there two summers ago.

I didn't think it was wall to wall brits.

Maybe I just didn't notice them.

The Brits tend to not integrate into the spanish parts that well in some areas, in others (Malaga, La Manga, Benidorm) they are all over the towns.

On that coast, Alicante and Altea. Actually I do recall seeing a few brits at lunch in Altea. But not bad at all.

Alicante there must have been some, but I don't remember any. For instance, I can't recall a single conversation I had with one.

Skipped Benidorm because I heard it was overrun by brits.

On north coast, Santander. Zero brits there for sure.

Keep it coming! A coastal Spanish Summer is an idea that's been floating strongly in my head.

When is the best time to visit? I have never been to the States before so this might be a perfect opportunity to explore here.

Overrated: London. Especially right now when the hip kids are trying as hard as they can to look exactly like Boy George. Still an enjoyable city, but I didn't find a lot of hot women around (granted, it was winter) and the sun setting at 4 PM really put a damper over everything.

Lima. I hate Peru. I had decent success there with women, but it's no paradise and it isn't worth the food poisoning.

Underrated: Bali outside of Kuta. Northern NSW. The Northern Baja coastal cities. Most bigtime D1 college towns. East Lansing and Madison are especially fun in the fall.

Peruvian food is a delightful amalgamation: start with indigenous highly biodiverse crops and fresh meat/seafood, then add major culinary impressions through large-scale waves of immigration from Spain, Italy, Africa, Japan, and China. That said, the country is by and large a dirty place, especially among the coastal cities, and food sanitation leaves a lot to be desired. Condiments, for example, will often just be left out in old squeeze bottles in the sun - including mayonnaise. Vegetables washed in the water and unpeeled will make you sick. Chicken goes unrefrigerated pre-cooking for too long. Almost everybody I know who travelled to Peru got food poisoning at least once. I got it twice in 5 weeks. I'm not talking about the ordinary discomfort and diarrhea you get from experiencing a different blend of bacteria in a new place until your stomach adjusts - Peruvian food poisoning is full-on volcano blasts out both ends until you pass out shivering and broken on the bathroom floor. I've been all around the world and nothing has come close.

What's your thoughts on Mancora?

Mancora is a fun and relaxing little town with a dangerous and oddly gritty undercurrent that you may not see until it's too late. It's not much for surf during the prime Southern Hemi winter as it sits on the north coast, although Cabo Blanco and even the point in town go off in big NPac swells. Lobitos, an hour away to the west, picks up souths and was one of the best left points I scored on my trip.

There are plenty of girls and good parties both indoors and out, it's sunny and warm, there's a great scene on the beach during the day, and the best concha negra ceviche in the world is in a little mom-and-pop (literally - pop cracks the shells and mom tosses them with the juice) in the alley next to the beach.

Night becomes sinister. The bars are pumping and there's fun, but the risk of robbery and assault is pretty high if you're anywhere secluded (and it gets secluded fast). Walking along the beach at night, for instance, is inadvisable. During my week stay three dudes staying in our hostel got forcibly robbed and a girl was raped on the beach 50 yards away. One of the three robbery victims was even in a mototaxi when two other guys flagged it down, jumped in, ripped out his pockets, and jumped back out before he could respond. The odd thing is that the town doesn't feel dangerous when you get there - it's the kind of place that can be a bad surprise.

The nice hotels are down the beach to the south from the main town area, while I was staying in the quieter hostel north of the strip. The nice places are a little far from the action, and you'd need to cab into town each time to get there. The main town hostels are crap you don't want to stay in. I stayed in The Point, which is a crappy chain hostel, but has the added bonus of renting private beachfront bungalows for 50 soles ($17) per night in addition to the crap dorm rooms. They were pretty awesome and perfectly quiet. I paid a lot more for a shittier "nicer" hotel in the south end before moving.

I don't remember what any of the restaurants or bars are called, because you really can't miss them - town is essentially one road parallel to the beach. Head down there, it's all there in one spot.

Easiest way to get in is to fly Star Airlines from Lima to Talara. First class is under $100, and on the Talara-Lima leg I met and swooped a fly Peruvian/American heiress until I got cockblocked by food poisoning a couple hours later in her posh Barranco townhouse. Hugging a hot girl, hugging her toilet... they're equally likely en el Peru.

The price of recreational nasal powders is double to quadruple what it is in other towns around it and lower quality.

I enjoyed my time there but I doubt I'll ever be back.

I guess everyones gut is different and some can adapt in countries where others cant. I ate local food (delicious meals) in cities all over Peru and never had any gastrointestinal problems. My second day in Santo Domingo I had the worst food poisoning of my life. I was practically glued to a toilet seat for 36 hrs, with crap coming out both ends like you described.

Over rated:

Southern California: For night life, but it's a great place during the day if you like the outdoors.

Nasa Bahamas: Was only there for a day, but it was a tourist trap where I was.

Miami: But only in terms of hooking up, the nightlife is pretty cool, but gets very repetitive after being there a while. The only way I can see Miami being awesome is if you have some Roosh, G or Mixx game and a good amount of loot to drop. It's just not a great spot for a younger man without a big bank roll. Too much competition and probably the bitchiest girls on earth. I've never been turned down so many times and with absolutely no shame in being the biggest bitch ever as I have here.

Florianopolis, Brazil: Yeah, it is beautiful and has great beaches, but it wasn't what everyone hyped it up to be. I was very disappointed by the nightlife and the women.

Under rated:

Vitoria/Guarapari, Brazil: One of my favorite spots on earth. The women are drop dead gorgeous and there are a whole lot of them. Portuguese is pretty much required to enjoy yourself here however.

Minas Gerais, Brazil: Awesome food, people, landscapes, and women. Highly recommended.

The Miami scales of Justice are very steep.

Another way to look at it is: Youth is not really an advantage in Miami.

Girls don't care how old you are. (Latin influence I think). Girls care about how straight up Alpha you are.

Alpha in all respects; success, presence, looks, dress, money, confidence, mastery of your environment etc.

I have had 21-22 year old girls there tell me they don't like a certain bar or club because it has "a young crowd".

I am thinking, that hell, most people in the club are her age or 3-5 years older than her.

Miami is one of the few places in America, where the young girl/ older guy combo is commonplace.

Nassau is a shit hole. I've been there about 20 times passing through on my way to other parts of the Bahamas and it's always a relief to get out of there. A complete contrast to the rest of the country which is unspoilt and full of friendly people.

Here you can find cafes and restaurants serving typical American meals at typical American prices. Expect to see some idiot wearing safari gear with a camera that weighs 30lbs hung around his neck and a fanny pack strapped around his waist.

Most Underrated: Managua, Nicaragua

An absolutely beautiful city filled with beautiful women who love to dance (get your salsa skills ready). I haven't been there for years but I plan on going back there this summer for a friends wedding. Tropical, cheap, and visually stunning.

Gah, I wish I could! That was 6 years ago and I was a broke student in a serious relationship at the time. I'll be sure to post some data when I'm down there this summer!

Sorry I can't be of more help. If you're headed to Nica you definitely need to hit up San Juan del Sur, absolutely amazing beach town (although its the only beach where I actually did see a needle wash up on shore).

Overrated:

Kiev - I was there twice and the time I was there I was tripping over the Turk and Arab sex tourists. The sight of Arab and Turkish dudes fighting in the street outside a nightclub outside Arena City convinced me that this place has had its day. I was right. Two days later I was gone vowing never to return. That said, Kiev has been the place of some of my most memorable bangs.
Manchester - grubby, dirty horrible place. The area around Canal St/Deansgate had a menacing and sleazy feel to it.
Ayia Napa - awful tacky place. Went there in June 2001. First week spent getting absolutely smashed and banging Irish sluts. The second week was spent in hospital. Our apartment had cockroaches and the toilet frequently blocked. All this in 40C+
London - The only city where I have been to where I did not feel safe. I stayed in Camden, home to an aging Irish community.
Bucharest - kip.
Sofia - The worst capital in the Balkans.
Sharm el Sheikh - unadulterated tackyness and pushy locals looking for every opportunity to either rip you off or sell you some tack.

Underrated:

Minsk - loved it there. The place is clean and tidy. Public transport is a cinch and the locals were friendly but curious, including the dyevs. Will be back.
Belgrade - Best capital in the Central Europe by a country mile. Real cosmopolitan feel to the place since it was the capital of YU. Best niteclubs, best bars and the place is a party animals heaven. Check out the splavi (party boats) in the summer. Cons... women are mighty hard to pull.
Bruges - If you like Belgian beer this is the place for you. Plenty of hopping bars.
Crete - Weather, beaches and cuisine are second to none. Experience the real Greece along with the hordes of Dutch/German/Swedish hottieness. There's more Balkan Power packed in per sq inch than any place on Earth.
Ekaterinburg - Been there twice. See my data sheet. This is provincial Russia in all its glory. Where else can you see a 4 year old girl do the gopnik squat.
