American University in D.C. now has a College Course on the popular book 50 Shades of Grey:

Oh and tuition at AU is $1,700 per hours so this class cost $5,100.

Hell. I have seen those books on sale at Target! And my local grocery store. There is even a group of women in the next town who routinely gather to discuss the novels.

Because women being submissive in bed is the most exciting, interesting, sexy, taboo topic in the world. It's the greatest mystery in the universe. Did God make them that way or is it the result of evolution? Is it cultural or biological? How should we get them to submit? Clever speech? Displays of status? Aesthetics? Security? All of the above?

You don't need to pay to enter the lecture hall, am I right?
At least at my university you you can walk into the buildings and rooms without security checks, and you can just take a seat. You basically pay for them to grade your tests and give you credit for it.

Walk in and sit next to a cool girl. One who sits there because she thinks 50 Shades is fun and exciting and not one that came from the Women's Studies department. No way will there be too many other guys.

Easiest possible scenario to both start a conversation, and lead it to sex talk. Normally you have to direct the conversation there without it looking forced, while here it'd be weird not to talk about it.

Good way to communicate some Secret Society awareness, female desire knowledge and nonjudgmentalism. Us versus them, and how society tries to stifle girls because of insecurity and fear, how sexual they are, and how you know that unlike other guys. BAM!

To be fair, a class that teaches women the joys of being submissive is actually more useful and practical than any liberal arts classes women take. The class wouldn't be necessary in a patriarchy but we have to work with what we have now.

I don't really mind the popularity of the book. It sounds silly but it's essentially the red pill packaged to be received well by the female. she might not be converted to the red pill logically, but all the graphic descriptions will manipulate her emotions and genitals and soon enough those emotions will be stronger than her ego. She will submit to the pleasure of being dominated.

I find it funny to see women reading it on public transit.

Well, we can't really put a price on knowledge but I know what you mean. I would never pay 5,100 for this class. We can learn some things about the american female consumer, females in general, and a beautiful mix of advertising, niche marketing, group-think, social anthropology, sexual expression, etc.

Whoever wrote and marketed those books was a genius. That book is gonna make billions.

Boys, go read the article and see what the class is about. The book started life as Twilight fan fiction. Do you know what they're going to do in the class? They're going to write 50 Shades of Grey fan fiction. They're going to let their hamsters run wild as they discuss whether the Mary Sue in the book has a healthy relationship or an abusive one. I finally know what this book is about (i never bothered to research it on google).

I saw so many women in NY reading this book, it was shocking. I never saw that shit in my life, i probably saw around 10 women in less than 2 weeks reading the same book. I even told this forum member that i was hanging out with in NY ''yo see that book that this woman is reading, she is the third woman i see today reading this book''.
