Most years, I avoid going out on New Year's Eve- too many stupid amateur partiers, too many cops, and venues charging outrageous prices.

I'm considering giving it a go this year though-just going out solo and approaching.

Have any of you guys tried this? Are there a decent number of dateless DTF girls out on NYE or will I just be wasting my time?

Any stories, tips and techniques you can share?

One of the worst nights to try to pick up, I think Roosh may have also written about this once. The day after is interesting though, low turnout but high dtf ratios. Same thing for day after christmas, one of the best times I had when I was younger, I ended up on some sort of pub crawl with people from places that didn't celebrate christmas.

There are a lot of DTF girls out on NYE.. partying with their friends and hooking up there.

In my experience most solo chicks at bars after 1AM are extremely DTF

I generally have a 'date' for nye so I have a sure thing but the nyeves that I have been with a group I see alot of single girls looking for that midnight kiss. As it nears midnight you can literally see girls looking around on the hunt. No girl wants to not kiss at midnight. Look for the ones eye fucking you, grab a drink and then after the midnight moment it's a matter of just logistics. At least that's how I see it here in SoCal.

NYE is amateur night.

Every guy goes out that night thinking he's going to get laid, only to get drunk and sloppily hit on girls. No matter how good you think your game is, every girl has a 'threshold'; meaning, if she's been approached badly by 20 or so guys (for example), she will immediately shut down the next guy approaching, no matter who he is.

Day after NYE is a much, much better night.
