The difference between Mixx and Deb is night and day, at least IMO. When I first joined the forum, Mixx seemed like an over the top character, who probably exagerated or embellished things a bit. But as I started reading his posts about Colombia and Brazil and his trying to help out guys, who were actually going there...I started to change my opinion of him.
Who cares if he was exagerating or not.....ultimately he was producing solid data sheets, giving good advice and putting in time helping guys out. Now that I have lived in South America for so many years, I can vouch for all the info he has posted about Colombia, Peru, Brazil and Argentina.
I understand many guys here might not like his attitude or even consider him a liar. But there is no doubt the info he provided for this forum is invaluable. At least lets give the man credit for that. In the end, the forum is valuable because it provides solid info that us men need to become better men and players. It should not be a place where clowns or guys who never have posted a data sheet, should be allowed to roam doing whatever they want.
As to Deb, though I like the guy, he never produced data sheets or provided that much useful info, while he was an RVF member. So I can understand why guys wanted him banned. This is not a forum for guys just wanting to brag or talk about their exploits. He has changed somewhat in the NN forum, producing a lot more useful info.
In the end my friends, we need more data sheets and trip reports. Who cares about the personality of the dude as long as he is posting solid info,
