Jill Kelley, who complained to the FBI about harassing emails from Paula Broadwell, is ALSO MARRIED TO A SURGEON. She volunteers as a family liason officer for the US military and hosts decorated military heros in their home (in the background) when they come to visit. Here they are at another Gasparilla Parade, and Jill Kelley (right with Holly) even brought along her twin sister Natalie (on the left with Petraeus).

Notice that Jill Kelley and General Petraeus are wearing several necklace emblems in common, while Holly and Scott have different ones in common. Are these private party admission passes where Jill could set up and isolate General Petraeus, while also keeping her husband Scott occupied ferrying around Holly elsewhere?

Yes, she had two children. But there's no pictures of her acting motherly with them, and it's pretty hard to find her even in the same room with them other than this one old and out of date picture below. Apparently since this picture they have being raised at boarding schools or by a nanny as she visited over 60 countries. As part of putting her career first (a soft "career" that most men would only admit as a hobby), and having an over-indulgent ex-military radiologist husband willing to finance her jet setting lifestyle of traipsing around the globe, spending more money on her "career" than it paid.

Media scrutiny is the thing that changed. There was a time when media didn't report on these kinds of things, even though they knew it was going on. It was believed then that the public didn't need to know, and that these things had nothing to do with how men did their jobs, so there was just an understanding that reporters wouldn't run with personal issues. The rise of tabloid media changed the standards of all media, and they started making EVERYTHING fair game. Also, people in the know simply wouldn't talk. Things simply didn't get leaked. Look at how long Deep Throat kept his mouth shut. No one could ever keep a secret like that for long now. Not only have media standards changed. WE'VE changed, in that people are attention whores now. Nothing stays buried for long. You'd be ostracized in prior eras for talking, while now it's rewarded.

This is why I chuckle when chicks run down their credentials and degrees. Underneath all that, they're still the jealous, competitive, conniving bitches they were in jr. high school. Gotta disagree here. They're all heavily tied into the military hierarchy. We know at least Paula Broadwell's husband is a former military surgeon that she met while they were both enlisted and stationed in Germany, and there's guesses (but no confirm yet) that Scott Kelley is also an honorably discharged military surgeon as well.

If that's that the case, this is exactly like being a Duke when the King decides to have an affair with your Duchess. One of the British Kings (name escapes me now. Priny?) would actually would set up marriages for women he wanted to have affairs with to his titled chums, lavish the couple with honors and appointments, wait until she had the obligatory heir and a spare with their husband, and only then pluck the ripened fruit and ball the hell out of her. The guy literally was pipelineing his affairs decades in advance.

This may be giving him too much credit, but General Petraeus appears to have been doing something very similar here, although he didn't have the power to lavish anything: Out of the many, many star fuckers knocking at his door every day, he only seems to have had allowed affairs with post-menopausal women that had already had their children with their husbands, and who were part of the military hierarchy so the husbands would see it as a complement.

It's very telling that neither husband was ever, "Sir, please stay away from my wife." It was only the infighting drama between women where it started to look like Paula Broadwell was going to pull a Lisa Nowak that anyone complained. And again, not to Petraeus, but to the FBI in a "who is this crazy bitch and please keep her away from our home" way. Although given Kelley's own delusions of being a Diplomat, who knows what grandiose security steps they originally called the FBI to request. Probably helicopters.

Meanwhile, some crazy EU papers think there was a military coup, complete with a gun battle in downtown Washington DC. (But despite everyone being trained marksmen, no one ever got shot)

There was that DC hooker/madam who swore on a radio show she was not going to kill herself, and threatened to name names including congressman, they found her hanging in her garage... quickly deemed suicide.. she had complained to friends about burglars (?) probably black ops guys climbing on her roof....
