So for last night I go out for Halloween. I always dress up as Men In Black. It's a great way to suit up but still be in the Halloween spirit.

I go to a bar and an DC 8.5 blonde girl calls me over saying "Hey, are you secret service?"

I walk over and say yes, figuring it will be a fun way to flirt. I talk with her a little bit. Turns out she works at the bar. One thing that I've noticed with girls in the last year or so is that they will pepper you with questions and cut you off with another question. She asks "Why aren't you working?" and then continues with a bunch of other stuff before I can respond. Instead of going along with a fun and obvious lie, she tried to tear it down. While in retrospect I think that I should have just said "Woah! Woah! Slow down? What is this? An interview?", I have to admit that I'm not sure this would have worked. This girl seemed very determined to simply be as rude as possible. Maybe just saying "You're being rude. Grown ups let other people finish speaking."?

Then she puts out her hand as about to high five me and then draws it away.

I catch it in time so that I don't swing and miss, but it kind of pissed me off so I went back to talk with my friend.

She and her friend then calls me later and says "How is Obama doing?" I say, "He's fine, but he's being a bit of a baby." She then goes in the usual valley-girl tone "OK" as I'm being "creepy" or somehow inappropriate (maybe she was a democrat?) and stops talking.

Since I didn't know what to do, I just ignored them and later went over to a mixed set who I ended up bouncing with and having a great time. I even number closed with a waif DC 7.

As I walked out the door I saw her screaming and dancing with her DC 8 friend by themselves. As far as I could tell, no other guy who didn't work at the bar had talked to them that evening.

My question is is there anyway to salvage a situation when a girl is truly being an attention whore bitch, or is better to just let it go? Normally, I'd just write this off as a failed approach but I didn't open her. She opened me in order to, as far as I could tell, be as rude to me as possible. Since she worked at the bar (though I though bar workers usually don't drink at work) and I like going to it, I decided to play it very cool. Seemed like a battle that I would not win.

It's a good story with a lot of learning potential in it.

First you picked up something subtle, her inability to have a good conversation. She apparently wasn't interested in you if she wouldn't let you talk.

This continued with her offering her hand and pulling it away: obvious micro-aggression, especially when done with a person for the first time, a phony "ha-ha" funny.

She just wanted to someone to make fun of, and show off her attractiveness at the same time.

It would have been best to bail when she did that. She's an attention whore.

My feeling is she wasn't getting attention, she was angry and she was trying to satisfy both feelings at the same time.

"See, this guy is interested in me, but I'm not being nice to him! I'm SO great. "

Sounds about right. She maintained her 8.5 status in her mind by dogging him out like a brat.

I've never done it but I think just walking off while she's rambling on about nothing would be better than trying to call her out. I would only do this if she was being a bitch like that. I'm nice to everyone who's nice to me

If you really care enough to think up the best way to respond to a drunk girl being a dumb bitch in a bar you've already lost. Who cares what effect you have on her with your killer call-out, she is literally nothing. Not worth the breath you have to take to say it.

Ironically, if you adopt this attitude then your natural reaction to this kind of behavior will probably have exactly the effect you desire.

I like the general. In this particular case, I should have just stood where I was and talked/yelled to her. The 'come here', if it ever came to that (possible but not likely), I would save to later. I'll remember that next time.

That was a good story and a good lesson learned. I had a pretty strange gait when i was younger up to being an early teenager (funny enough it was solved by squats) that resulted in me being targeted. Back in those gender neutral days guy and girl schoolyard bullies often used the 'hey, come over here' to lure me in.

Its an applicable lesson to street smarts and game - if a stranger is waving you over and they aren't in a wheelchair or trapped under a car, dont' go. Think about it in your own head, what frame of mind would you have to be in to essentially look at a stranger and say, motion or yell 'Hey you! Come here and help me!"

Now that you've learned the lesson though, you can use it to your own advantage.

Going over to talk to her after her waving you over wasn't a big deal, in my opinion.

What I would have done in that situation was just answer her question, like a normal human, and then just start ignoring her once she just started machine gunning me with questions just to entertain herself while she was at work. I would have peeped that that's all that she was doing.

You set yourself for the okey doke by tentatively engaging and entertaining her. Just answer a bitch like that nonchantly and keep it moving once you quickly figure out she's full of shit.

Its hard to let cute girls go, but alas some cute girls are un-salvageable...

For me, a curt "This is not going to work out" really breaks it down.

Either shell be respond w/a "WHY?!!!!" or shell make a face and that a cue for you to leave.

Bro, did she not approach you? When bombarded with questions , evade swiftly by changing the subject or bombard back. You'll see how much of a test that was when you bombard someone like that for the first time. They're aren't capable of handling the pressure. Its funny how when I go through stuff other players have a similiar issue.

This past thursday Night at the club when a girl wouldnt want to dance I just assaulted her with questions and wouldn't let her answer until it was the real question I wanted her to answer "so why won't you dance with me?" . Before she'd answer I'd walk away. 2 of the chicks that rejected me came around later and gave me a dance. It was just for fun and I wouldn't use it for anything but that.

In your case I would have either stopped her and been like ; A: YO!!! What are you even talking about!?
B: grabbed her arm and smacked her hand just for giggles. Since you said you caught on to her trick.

All in all fuck her. And next time someone disrespects you with that gibberish make sure you subtly make them feel awkward.
