I find it ironic that she's a Bengals cheerleader, right here in Cincinnati, and is getting rewarded for her crime. This tends to be quite the conservative city.

If it were a male teacher banging his 17 yr. old student, we all know he'd spend a few years in prison (minimum), be required to register as a sex offender, and spend the rest of his life socially ostracized.

Anytime you guys are in town, hit me up and let's roll. Every now and again I get free tickets to the Bengals game through associates.

I was at the Steelers/Bengals game last Sunday and the crowd kept yelling "Rapist!" at the Steelers' QB.

I remember this girl. Back in 2009 she ended up on this gossip site called "The Dirty", accused of sleeping with a bunch of Bengals players and having a couple of STDs. I remember reading that, but didn't keep following the story.
Turns out she sued TheDirty for "defaming" her and won in a district court. The case is still going on (TheDirty appealed, decision should come in January), and she made the circuit on TV interview shows in the meanwhile playing the victim.

Turns out she's pretty dirty after all, but I guess she's getting paid as a result. Odd how our society incentivizes negative behavior that way.

Some of you guys sound like MRA's. Of course there's a double standard. Female virginity/chastity is highly valuable. Male virginity/chastity is worthless. If hot teachers are banging our high school boys, good. The only thing it's gonna do to the boys is benefit them.

I'm not surprised by the outcome, and I do realize there's a double standard here. But it's a bit excessive to reward her with her own tv show.

Look my friend the only reason it is an issue in this forum is that is shows the degeneration of American women and hypocrisy going on in the USA. I am sure it happens in non anglopshere countries to a much lesser degree, but the female teacher would be sure to keep it well hidden, or else she would be completely ostracized.
As for a male teacher the worse thing that would happen to him is he could get fired and receive a pat on the back from all his male co-workers.

If the woman was unattractive then she would not be getting her own show, nor would the general public be so apathetic or congratulatory for the kid. But she has a great ass/body, so it's hard to really be outraged or feel bad for the kid.

So...I'm not really offended by the way the public has handled this. It kind of makes sense.

Yes...the real tragedy is that there is no shame in anything anymore. Shaming used to be a real weapon in curtailing outrageous behavior. Not anymore. Now, doing something stupid, or even criminal gets rewarded with celebrity. A large sector of the public further rewards it by actually watching these shows, encouraging even more of them. They won't stop making them until folks stop watching them.
