Wow.. I was checking out the next destination I want to hit, surfing around, digging and I cam across Maturín , Venezuela. Looking at some of the talent on Facebook, dam... little petite, tight bodies. I remember Neil dropping down in Venezuela, wasn't sure if he hit this area. Anybody have any data???

I was on the other side of the country in Maracaibo. But to me I thought Colombian girls were hotter. I think on average Venezuelan girls are taller and a bit heavier. I definitely noticed the difference coming from Colombia to Venezuela.

I have been there.

It's a big ugly industrial town with nothing to do, nothing to see and no nightlife.

Despite being one of the biggest cities in the country, lonely planet did not even bother to mention it such is the level of the no-reason-to-go-there of the place.

Girls there are not noticably different from anywhere else in Venezuela.

Majestic, I have been chatting to a few chikitas from Venezuela, one I have became good friends with, we skype often, one thing they all say is how fucked up the place is in general, it is a dangerous place, I will be going there though, I dont give a fuck. If you want to avoid possible/inevitable? dangerous situations, id say stay away from there.

Haha yeah. When I was there people kept saying how brave I was. It may be a bit dangerous but when I got there I was treated like a rock star. Everybody wanted to talk to me. I never got that treatment in Colombia. But I still do think Colombians are hotter

Really, yeah Im looking forward to Venezuela, would you say in your experience if you keep your shit tight, you could enjoy spending time there, say months? Or is it better just to go for a quick visit, bang a few if you can and leave? The way i see it re; long termish stays in dangerous countries ( I'm not talking Africa/Afghanistan dangerous), its not so much the fear that would bother me (though would be there of course) it would be more the fact of just having to watch your back constantly, not being able to let lose so much, that's what would give me the shits.

Well to spend any time there you have to take all your spending money in advance in dollars

Why? Because if you exchange money at the official artfically inflated rate (use banks or cash machines in other words) you wll be paying literally double for absolutely everything your entire stay

The only way around this is to take dollars and exchange them on the black market for the correct rate
