RE: Project Getaway in Bali
So are you guys ready to start up a basecamp (online project management tool) project so we can get this organised?

http://basecamphq.com/

Does anyone already have a basecamp account or shall I set one up?

Does it cost money to sign up?

I get the feeling that a number of us are in the boat of, "I'm down, just tell me when and where..." but few (or none) of us are willing to step up and take on organizing it.

I'm interested, but my schedule isn't open until early 2011, possibly as late as mid 2011.

I think the easiest way to go about it would be something like this:
- Ask everyone who's interested to reply and/or PM an email address they can be reached at.
- Start a google group (free and noob friendly) and invited everyone who expressed interest via email.
- Start email threads on the following, in order: schedules and availability, budgets, and THEN preferred locations.
- My guess is by then you won't have more than 4-5 people anyway. So pick a date. Pick a spot and go for it.

If muse incubator existed, and you had 3K and 2 months of free time, I'd suggest you go there and immerse yourself in intense entrepreneurship and muse launch.

I've been looking into the cleantech/environment area and seeing lots of opportunities lately.

Guys, it’s a real inspiration reading this thread. I would be thrilled to be part of the project. I have the time, 3k to burn/invest, and a wide array of skills (including PhD level technical expertise in water quality control and environmental science, btw).

At the moment, I am figuring out what my location independent income could be. Also, how I can best leave the research scientist route while making use of my skills. Having no training or experience in business or advanced computer skills yet, I wonder if it would make sense for me to get involved (now), and how I could provide value to the group.

As for the PUA stuff, this is the first year that I am finally seeing good results from it, so I really enjoying it at the moment.

We won't have message limitation problems when we move things to basecamp

Brazilianguy,
Thank you for the excellent write-up on those places in Brazil. They all sound great to me. And it sounds like you are in an interesting area up north that is almost like a fuckfest?

About the "project," I am thinking that if it is non-business related, and if Roosh wanted to do it, he could promote and discuss it on his blog. He has the "marketing muscle" to get people interested. It could even be his "baby," and he could even offer game coaching, etc., over there, to attract more guys to the idea? As a Brazilian guy, you could advise him on a location, and negotiate with the Brazilians on the price of the house, since I think you would get a better deal than a gringo would. Anyway, I would be happy to be a part of it!

Good suggestion Entropy.
I am among those who are willing and available to not only take part in this but also would gladly be part of setting up my/our own project going. I'll be in Thailand from the end of this month till mid Feb 2011. So I'm definitely in for it.
I'll pm my online contact info to Lumiere and then we can take it from there.
Also, can those who are truly interested and able to make it to Thailand in the next 3-4 months and can at least stay there 1-2 months to be part of it make themselves known in here by just saying "I'm in"?

RE: Project Getaway in Bali
Hah, I'm in Bangkok now. Leaving Thailand in three days. Like I said, won't be available until February-ish at the earliest, but I've been living mobile for a little over a year now.

Chaz: If any part of this becomes PUA-centric, then I'm out and I imagine many others would lose interest too. The reasons have already been discussed on this thread. Pick up is a hobby, not a lifestyle. This is about lifestyle building, as well as entrepreneurs networking. You can get pussy anywhere.

But if Roosh wanted to put something like that together and charge money, then that's his call... and something different entirely. Perhaps lobby him for it in a new thread.

PM sent.

RE: Project Getaway in Bali
Yeah, Chaz, it´s pretty much a fuck fest, but in order to get access to the the higher quality girls you need to be inside the right social circles, otherwise you´ll only bang semi literate girls (but at least they have big asses).

Haha, okay, maybe I´m exagerating a bit, but that´s more or less how it works.

Most guys here have zero game and the girls, even the higher class ones, are really promiscuous, so they´re not girfriend material.

The good side is that it´s easy to get sex. The bad side is that you quickly get tired of it and it´s hard to get better girls.
There are also plenty of male cockblocks here because local guys will feel threatened by you (most guys are ugly, don´t take care of themselves and have no game) and will talk shit behind your back (but will be nice to you when you talk to them).

If you have a crew of 3 or 4 guys who are very good friends, have game, some money, and stick together, it´s possible to clean up the place, even laying the top girls in the city.

Let me tell you this, just to give you an idea of how slutty girls here are: when I arrived 4 months ago, I was on a roll.

I was fucking, on average, one new girl per week and I must have laid about 15 different girls the first 2 months.

The thing is: at least one of my work mates had fucked every one of those girls! That should show you just how promiscuous they are.

Well, I´d be glad to help out with house renting and other chores, but it seems this project will be business oriented, which is not my thing.

Anyway, if the guys choose to do this in Brazil, I could give you some tips.

RE: Project Getaway in Bali
Here is the link to the facility they are using in Bali. The whole complex has 7 bedrooms which means they are sharing bedrooms and maybe beds. They are there for low season, which means they are paying $450/night to rent the whole complex. If there are 15 people there (as their site says) that comes to $900/m per person

Since they are charging $900/m plus they have sponsors, that means somebody is probably profiting, which is to be expected.

Plus 10% VAT and 5% service charge

So that's roughly $520 p.n.

Hey Brazilguy,

that sounds like an interesting area you are in -- and one that does not get a lot of attention, at least from travelers, right? I will have to come there and check it out, and then hit the Amazon area. That would be a good trip. That's funny and wild about the women there getting together with you and your co-workers! I was in Minas Gerais and I thought the women there were high quality, but they are not at all promiscuous. (At least in my experience.) Very sweet, but conservative. So I guess the Minas girls are kind of like the opposite of Acre girls?

Well, Chaz, I hope you´re not thinking that the mineiras are quality chicks or even genuine because it´s often not the case.
Rather, mineiras are known throughout Brazil to be top players, specially because they play the sweet and conservative girl type and that gets a lot of unexperienced guys to fall in love with them.

I´ve had 2 female co workers from Minas Gerais who were exactly like that. One of them destroyed my boss´s marriage and the other one is playing the rich young guys in town, while at the same time gathering a lot of useful beta orbiters in her social circle.

Regarding the north region of Brazil, I would say that it´s relatively unexplored, since even Brazilians from the more developed areas don´t come here at all. The infra structure outside the capitals pretty much sucks but the good side of it is that there´s a lot of adventure to be had if you´re the explorer type.

Brazilianguy, thanks for the heads-up about those bitches! I have to admit I did not think about the possibility that those seemingly "nice" girls might be players. But I was only there for a week, so what do I know?! Hey man, one thing I noticed in Minas Gerais was that the girls (and the guys) did not speak English at all, whereas you are absolutely, totally fluent in English. Is this a Sao Paulo characteristic, would you say?

I would get a kick out of some adventure in the north, I think! I could mix it up with some city action in Manaus, Belem, etc...

No problem!

Send me a PM if you decide to come. I don´t know the north region very well either, except for Manaus and Rio Branco (arrived here 4 months ago), so I also have some travelling to do.
I hear Belem is great for pick up, as well as some islands in the state of Pará.

You´re right about most English speakers being in Sao Paulo. It´s the wealthiest state in the country, as well as the most americanized.
Pretty much everyone who´s at least middle class speaks English, many of them being fluent.

My parents moved to Belo Horizonte (minas gerais) earlier this year, so I have to check it out. I´ve been there before as a kid, many years ago.

Cool, sounds good on that trip to the north!

I was in Sao Paulo last year for a wedding. My friend in San Diego married a Brazilian woman originally from Sao Paulo, although she is "Americanized," having lived in the USA for the last 13 years. Anyway, almost all the Brazilian people at the wedding party spoke English. I was totally (but pleasantly) surprised by this, since that was not the case at all in Florianopolis!

You will love B.H., since there are so many hot chicks there!

Sao Paulo is a fun city.
I´m starting to value it more now that I´ve been in the north for some time.

Did you get any lays in Floripa? I went there a couple of times, but for short trips to the beaches (less than a day), so didn´t really game the chicks there.
There´s a city close by called Camboriu where I used to go to with friends at the end of the year and we used to clean up the place.

In my experience, chicks from the south of Brazil respond really well to direct game because southern guys tend to be shy and reserved.

I like S.P. too. I like places where there is some element of grittiness and struggle, so S.P. fits that bill nicely. But I enjoy nice places like Floripa, too, which are painless and pleasant, and not hardcore.

Regarding lays in Floripa... yes, but just the one girl I was there with, from the social circle of the newlyweds. She was the bride's cousin, and was from Lima, Peru. So no Brazilians there, unfortunately. But that was ok with me because I did not (and still don't) speak much Portuguese. I gotta learn the language better before going back there!
