I was only stopped once by 5-0 in my global travels, during a trip to Barcelona back in the '80s. But, I've heard of brothas (also, white tourists) being stopped in Kiev, Ukraine and asked for a donation to the local pig's favorite charity. In a case like that: smile...shake their hand...and keep rollin'.

Another Update:

Avoid Montenegro or Croatia in low season - no people around, no parties going on. It's a bit of a cockfest actually here in Hvar.
That said, I got my Cypriot/Aussie flag last night But then again, I was on my 20th consecutive night as an Irish/Mexican pirate. My friends all hooked up too... guys can't compete with pirates. Man do I have some funny stories from this trip.

Here's are my top 3 spots so far:

1. Montenegro (purely for sheer beauty)
2. Macedonia (the most fun)
3. Bosnia & Herzegovina (most under rated)

Hottest chicks : Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania (in that order)
Least attractive: There all hot in the Balkans!!!
Friendliest chicks: Macedonia and Kosova

I will go into each country I've visited in depth next week, with a full run down on the girls

Badstuber: We just travel by bus, train whatever..
GB: Costs vary in the region.. it's very cheap to rent an apartment. Croatia and Greece are the most expensive countries. Everywhere else is fucking peanuts.

It's my last day in the Balkans :/ At least it ended with a bang (literally). The night before last I got my Welsh flag (if Wales counts) of a incredibly beautiful naturalist (lives in a community of nudists) Crazy story actually. Not a bad tour at all - 5 cheeky shags & 4 (or 3) new flags in 3 weeks. I kept a very high standard too, I'm very happy with that.

My Synopsis - Croatia sucks balls. Montenegro and Macedonia fucking rock!

My next trip is Malta in November. Alas, I return to Ireland, a land a chubby umpa lumpas. I will miss Balkan women On my return I will provide some kick ass city reports for you guys

Wow, Montenegro! Who knew?!

What's the cost of living over there to be living "well" and any idea how an Asian-American guy would fare over there? In other words, any skinhead type stuff you noticed?

No skinhead shit at all, the region is really quite cosmopolitan. I can't answer on the perception of Asians there however... I didn't see any Asian or Black tourists in the entire Balkans!!! That's probably a good thing if you visited. The least you could expect is a good deal of curiosity.

Right guys, I finally finished my Big Balkan Breakdown

It was a fun trip... I just got back from Malta yesterday as well.. It was a serious blast. I forgot how much fun Europe can be! A report will follow. But I digress..

NN, thanks for the detailed reports. Looks like you had a blast down there.

A quick couple of questions:

1) I am planning to roll thru the Balkans in late April '11 for 2 weeks. Any suggestions for a "chica"listic itinerary?
2) In terms of pre-trip preparations, did you scout any online sites for setting up prospects before you arrived in the city? Any tips on that?

I agree. One of the great things about going there is the country not being a part of the EU. We rented a large luxury 2 bedroom apartment with two balconys 300m from Skopje city square for $488 dollars total for 10days. I was so shocked at the price.

@Sirob: I hit the ground cold in some spots, with the exception of using Tagged.com in Macedonia. This would defo be on a list for a "chicalistic" iterrary. If you're in the area I also recommend Romania and Greece for really high quality women.
