Yeah. Total waste of money to get a real or fake Emporio Armani watch. I've had one (real one), the thing stopped working I took it in to a watch shop and they just laughed and said its non-serviceable.

You seem to not want to listen to the advice that is given to you! A fake Rolex will do you any good if you can't front the lifestyle to go with it. Girls are not dumb, well not all are but they will see through you.

I understand you don't have money, we have ALL been there but wearing Armani label tshirts is no longer a big deal.

Older gyals are different but the youts (90s babies) are easily wowed.

You don't necessarily need to drive a Bentley to wear a Rolex, I know people who make $50k a year and wear them, but they were usually gifts in this case. But if you're super budget constrained, I wouldn't wear any fake high-end - girls aren't stupid and they will think you're trying way too hard. You wouldn't want to flash the Rollie then invite her to hop in your Jetta. The caveat to this is if you know a shitload about watches. You can get away with wearing a more expensive watch than your boss if you can tell him that his version contains solid end links, which they starting using in 2000 Submariners (P-serial numbers), and that the "two-line" Submariner he wears was the traditional look until Rolex decided to add the cosc wording and it became a "four-line" and that even though the prior versions weren't cosc certified, they had the same movement inside and still kept time within cosc standards just were never sent in for certification, etc etc....get my drift? That destroys and presumption about you being flashy and people get it's a passion instead.

Listen man, my first dress watch was a $200 ESQ stainless. Similar to this one but non chrono and a blue dial: http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches...duct.html. Great watch until the links started falling out 3 years later. Get something like this, not a fashion house watch, not a fake, but just a decent quality stainless steel dress watch. Or just a smaller-face G-Shock. Your choice.

There's websites like Gilt, Hautelook, Beyond the Rack that sometimes marked down watches. Personally, I prefer Ashford which sells grey market watch, you can get a decent original Hamilton or Victorinox for less than $300.

I would give the Armani watch (real or fake) a miss. The movements used are a joke and you are paying for a brand that doesn't mean much to anyone these days.

Repgeek.com is by far and away THE resource to use online if you're interested in watches. The depth of knowledge with watches is akin to RVF in terms of travel and women. Many of these dudes know actual watches just as well as replicas, and they're pretty helpful to newbies. At the very least you'll get some good ideas as to what type of watch you'll want, and if you're willing you'll be pointed in the direction of places to buy high quality replicas. These replica watches will set you back a few hundred USD, but in most cases they are near 1:1 copies, and in some cases they are exact copies.

Walked into the Armani Exchange (the bottom most Armani) store today, and found out even the crappy AX watches start from 180 pounds ($300). I want to buy a watch because it makes women think you are punctual and mature.
