You will find this with some female athletes that are so lean, they stop menstruating. I suppose if the body fat falls below a certain level, there is some type of hormonal imbalance that causes it to stop. Your girl is just naturally petite, so that alone doesn't mean she won't menstruate, but if she loses a lot of weight, it would happen to her too.
