I've been doing ok with the girls in their early thirties and so forth, so I tried a "younger club" tonight. I was pretty much ignored after each opener, not even a word. Anybody have a good way to re-engage or do you just keep moving? Thanks!

They are totally ignoring you and not even responding?!?!?

Ouch. That does happen sometimes. It means that your openers are not "packing enough punch". You need more power behind them.

Speak louder and more clearly, use more humor, take more chances, be bolder!!!

How old are you...or i should say how old do you look. If you are 40+ and look it...its almost impossible to open young American women especially in a club they have to first SEE your High Value before even conisdering your opener. Most guys who are older or look older have to use "parking lot pimping" game to display higher value with a nice car that usually comes from being established in life.

If I open a girl and she looks/turns away from me , I consider that a blow out and immediately just walk away without another word.

I know there are guys believe in being persistent and trying to hook an initially uninterested girl with a flood of high energy talk but that is just not my style and it seems to be a low percentage conversion.

I want to spend time chatting up those girls who are most interested in me from the outset.

I think the content of the opener is important only so far as it should avoid any lame/beta stuff Hi what's your name, or You're cute, etc

My club openers are usually cocky/funny with a teasing vibe. Body language and voice tone are critical, I would make sure those are dialed in. Projecting high confidence is key-women find this very sexy.

OP what openers are you using?

Thanks guys. PhilE, I'm late 30's, but look about 32. I've had luck with the "parking lot pimping" recently.

In general I just need practice. Voice projection, confidence, everything.
Up until now, I've been only opening girls who are staring at me, IOIs, dancing near me, etc. Something simple like "Having a fun tonight?" seems to work more than not for me. I know I need to get more creative here.

First young girl I opened was standing near the dance floor and I said "Cool DJ, you know who it is?"
Another near the bathroom: "I like your tattoo, what's the story behind it?"
Also, I realize only making 2 openers is not going to get me far most of the time. I was just a little taken back and bounced clubs instead of working at it there.

I actually opened a girl last weekend and thought she did the same thing. Turns out she was just in a dazed state and didn't hear me. I redelivered and it went ok, but it's hard to recover once you fall into the mindset of "I just got blown out."

Oddly, her "I'd have to be really drunk to hit it" friend gave her number to my friend to give to me. First time that's ever happened to me.

The early 30s gals were born in the beginning of he 80s. This changes things considerably. The younger crowd is going to be more distracted due to having always had things like myspace, facebook... god, imagine what THEIR kids are going to be like...

I've gotten more aggro. Especially if you're in a club, sometimes the girl doesn't hear you. If I want to get a girl's attention, I'll tap on her shoulder twice and talk about 4 times louder than normal speaking volume. If she doesn't respond, move on.

Have you tried approaching from the front then putting a hand on or tapping their shoulder beforeyour opener? It's alot hard to disrespect the fuck out of someone who has already tapped your shoulder. Also a study done in 2008 shows that touching a girl from the upper arm to shoulder doubles your chance of success with the girl, give it a try next time you're out and let me know how it goes.

Thanks, I'm learning a lot here. I had better luck last night, even number closed a cute latina. I think just speaking WAY louder at the club, being more high energy, and having more confidence is going to make a big difference. My verbal skills need practice in general, so working on it (loudly) while learning everything else is going to take some time. In the past, I've kind've taken the easy way out by closing girls who are practically begging for me to open, vs just opening on girls I really want.

I have also noticed this in my own experimentations. TOUCHING HELPS SO MUCH!!!

It usually works best to touch a girl lightly on the arm to get her attention before opening your mouth. Speak from a normal distance the first time you speak (don't lean into her ear).

Young girls are just dumb in my experience. They don't understand flirting. If you overwhelm them they'll lock up
because they don't know how to handle the attention. They like it but can't handle it.

You have to open with something neutral and kinda indirect. "Do you know how late this place is open?"
Something like that. Follow up with "Thank you so much" and "You're a real sweetheart".

Then kick in to your ramble. If she engages you then you're in.

I like to use some generic compliments after. "I really like your earring/nails/hair". Anything that requires work
on her part. Never compliment her on her beauty.

Keep in mind that you're dealing with the "Facebook generation". Unlike women 30+ women, these girls have been getting attention and validation all their lives. They're supremely confident (even the ugly ones) and have big egos from the constant "OMG you're sooooo hottt" comments and Likes they've been getting on Facebook since middle school. They're extremely narcissistic.

First of all, only open girls in 2-sets or 3-sets. Any bigger and you're guaranteed to get blown out at some point. Keeping the attention of 4 ADD 20 year olds in a club is impossible.

Establish physical contact right away. A light touch on their shoulders will get their attention. Use a quick opinion opener that involves all the girls in set. You need to keep all the girls engaged at the outset, otherwise the girl not getting attention will try to cockblock you - young girls are vicious this way. Win the friend over - this is where a competent wingman is key.

My default opener is usually a question pertaining to relationships and getting their input on something. It's a safe, neutral opener that shows you're pre-selected (he must br in a relationship, and he must not be hitting on me). Young girls love gossiping about relationships, and this will get you into set and not blown out.

Very true. Save that for after you get her alone though. I use that often and it gets them all
