I don't get why it's considered alright to get braces but excessively vain to get plastic surgery.

If you've got the money and you've got some glaring physical deficiency, something very specific you're ashamed of, get it fixed before it drains all your psychic energy and drags your personality down to its level (see: George Costanza's baldness, and how the entirety of George Costanza's personality is subordinate to his own baldness.)

Well, some of the guys on here belive that your self-esteem should be stronger than the physical issue that's ailing you. I agree with that for the most part, but it does depend on the issue. Being severely overweight for instance deeply hampers your game, I don't care how strong your game is. That isn't to say you can't still pull, but it will be with greater difficulity. All I'm saying is that if you can make that particular physical issue go away, why not do it? Any little bit helps, and you shouldn't have to be labeled as "having deep seated issues" simply because you'd like to look better.

I don't know about anyone else, but I utilize the site as a valuable resource for Game and encouragement. I ask real questions that I want to know the answer to, without worrying about whether or not my question is going to come across as sounding needy, pathetic, etc. We are supposed to be brushing up our skills and sharpening our game here, before hitting the streets! I'd rather pose a question here with the fellas and get the correct answer, rather than go out there and f*ck up with women because I was clueless.

Orthodontics have evolved into a more cosmetic thing now. There was a time when braces were something only kids got (I had them in elementary school, for three years. So did my brother.), because it was easier to correct those issues when you're younger, before your teeth and jaw are set. Also, if your bite isn't aligned, it can lead to jaw problems, and even headaches. Now, it isn't uncommon to see adults wearing braces. New braces were developed, instead of the just metal ones. Now you have plastics (invisalign), and they even attach braces on inside of the teeth, so they aren't visible. Braces are a combination of vanity, AND correcting legitimate problems. Crooked teeth look bad, but they can also lead to other issues. I don't think anyone frowns upon someone getting a nose job if it got crooked from being broken a bunch of times, and if it also clears up breathing problems. It's the variety of implants and face lifts that lead to someone looking like a freak that are called into question. It's the complete alteration of a person's looks, where when you look at pictures of them and they don't look anything like the person in the picture.

I had plastic surgery done last month. It was for removal of my Gynacomastia (man boobs). I had tried everything to lose the fat on my chest from beasting the weights to intense cardio and dieting but although the rest of my body would change those damn mannary glands would not go away no matter what I tried.

I'm 33 years old now and I'd had them since I was about 14. I used to get teased and bullied about them in school and had some hurtful comments about them in adulthood too. My chest was always the one thing I despised about my body and I was always paranoid about it socially and would tend to hunch my shoulders so they wouldn't stick out.

I discovered years ago that there was a Gynacomastia procedure available but there was no way I could afford the UK prices and so tried to just forget about it. However; a few incidents made me look into it again. A group of lads in Ayia Napa laughing at me after feeling bold one day I went topless "That guys got tits!!!" and a vicious girl in a club who called me out on them right after I opened her with what was only some friendly banter.

Anyway; long story short...I got the procedure done for a hell of a lot cheaper than the UK in Szczechin, Poland. I had to stay in a hotel beside the surgery for 6 nights after the operation (I had to go back into the surgery everyday so they could check how I was healing and shaping up) but including flights the whole thing cost me less than 2 grand flying return from Glasgow.

I've been back home for around 5 weeks and I need to keep this compression vest on for another week but whenever I take a peek at my chest its looking damn good. Or should I say, damn flat! No more flabby bitch tits with pepperoni nipples for me, once I fully recover and can hit the gym again I know my confidence will soar.
