Whenever I'm making plans over txt, a lot of times, I won't get a definite yes.

I will get replies like

"ok, will txt you"

or

"will try"

What is a good response to ask the girl to essentially commit to the date.

Then go silent.
If she's into you she'll throw an alternative time/date out or her hamster will spin and she'll agree.
If not you've now just saved yourself a metric fuckton of hassel.
Use that time you were looking to hangout with her and pull more numbers.

I'm not high on the don't reply cos when you don't reply, the girl assumes that you've agreed to her "pseudo" confirmation.

Believe it or not, there are a lot of nice girls out there who won't give you shit before jumping through your hoops. Try and find one of those.

If a girl texted me that, I wouldn't reply with anything. After some radio silence for a week or two, I'd give her a call or send restart texts, but that shit definitely doesn't deserve a response.

Girls are big on being non-comittal and "keeping their options open." Cute girls are used to being in demand, and they know men want them around. They'll sit around and wait from the best option to arise, and do that. When you get that wishy-washy answer, I personally don't reply to it. I just let it hang out there.

I get the point of phone game, but sometimes, text game is unavoidable.

like yesterday, I called up my HB8(first time ever I called her), it was just super noisy in the background, I could hardly hear her and she couldn't hear me, so she hangs up and then texts me "sorry, it's too noisy..." so then I proceed to make arrangements over text.

I do what has worked for me in the past.
If my method hasn't worked for you in the past then let it be.

My game revolves around not wasting my time trying to convince girls to meet up, or playing some cat and mouse game over text.
Build the comfort high enough when you get the number so that when you go ask her out she gives a direct yes. Then it's all downhill from there.
This means approaching not pulling numbers through online non-sense.

I agree with the guys above, I wouldn't even reply. If she sends a texts sayin the she can't make it, I'd say
Me: "??"
Her: the plans we had, I can't make it, sorry.
Me: oh, I already made other plans. Guess it worked out. Cool.

That shows that you didn't wait for her and that you have other stuff lined up. Pretty sure next time you'll get a direct answer.

One time I asked this girl if she was still on campus because I wanted to hang out. Lol it went like this

Me: yo are you still on campus?
Her: uhh no, just leaving now. Why?
Me: don't worry about it. Its all good.
Five mins later.
Her: hey I'm coming back.

Later she told me she was so curious about what I wanted that she had to turn her car around when she was almost home, lol and her classes were done for the day. Act like your giving them the opportunity to hang out with you, and they can't refuse. They might even break other plans they had. Plus if you say its all good insted of saying what you wanted, the curiosity might be enough to get them. Looking back, maybe that "why?" Was my chance to prove myself or validate her, but its all good, chicks always come around. Just do your own thing a be cool.

It's cool that you're trying to get your text game up. But dude, it's not about what you say but how you say it. It's a mindset thing, and asking for so much help kinda indicates you don't have it. This community is awesome, but at the same time since the vast majority of the people here have strong alpha qualities, don't be too dependent on them. It's just not a good look.

My advice: work on your inner game a bit more. Inner game > text game
