My wife and I took a stroll through a local university campus on their open day a couple of months ago, when there were lots of young guys and girls getting to uni for the first time. My wife, being the eternal optimist matchmaker, said excitedly "I hope many of them meet, marry and make babies!" By the time we were through to the other side of the crowd, passing the guys who skip leg days, the ones with man buns, the ones who can't grow any facial hair, the ones wearing skirts and so on, her optimism turned into "Do these young guys have soy milk with their cereals daily?"

Can't always blame the chicks for the thread's topic.

It is the first time in history we have seen a nation (including china) with so much more men than women. Sex crimes and harassment have become a common day occurrence in the daily life of an Indian. I saw a documentary on whole crisis and widened my eyes with what is going on there. The documentary even showed a 36 year old man cry because he had never had a girlfriend. I believe that in the future we will have major war just only fueled by sexual frustration. But what also intrigued me is how long this problem has has been going on for and how long it has been known by the general population. Basically the general population has known about the problems of gender selective abortion since 2001 (even the most rural areas got tallies on their medical wards to keep count of the ratio). Completely getting rid of ultrasound will not fix the problem. The documentary showed how the majority in rural areas just kill their daughter after birth because they can’t afford abortions. All this madness is done just to avoid paying dowry and raising a daughter. This info reminded me what a fellow forum member (Leonard D Neubache) said:

Basically in India they want a son to get a dowry payment and to look after them. However if a daughter is shown on the monitor then abort it because who needs one. Never mind that life is supposed to random and for future generations we need a good ratio. But screw everyone else, I do not want to pay dowry or raise a daughter.

Also I feel like this problem is coming to the West to. I graduated from high school in Brampton in 2011 and my school was 99 percent Punjabi. We had 2 guys for every girl (I am not making this up I actually counted my yearbook). Now I have come back to Toronto from the States and I am realizing a lot of these problems and why they exist.

Honestly I have been given a better insight on even the IRT problems that persist on the forum. Basically Indian guy moves to the West and he is filled with so much sexual frustration. He has been raised by a mother who basically does everything for him and continually praises him. He watches Bollywood and learns all the beta behaviors such as completely stalking a girl. But he also watches Hollywood movies and see guys like Tom Cruise easily picking up on women on film and thinks it will be easy for him too (his mom has been calling him handsome everyday of his life). Then reality hits him in the West and he doesn’t know what else to do with his pent up frustrations. I am South Asian too so I am not trying to make a race debate but trying to delve deeper into the culture problems there. I am hoping for a major cultural shift.

When there are too many males and not enough females, biology has a simple answer: war.

I introduced my 20 year old girlfriend to the word "soyboi" and now she uses it all the time to describe hipster fags. Her father learnt the word from her and now uses it for the same reason. Instead of Netflix and chilling, we watch Roosh's Youtube channel.

She is a sociology major at a liberal college in California but is supportive to the ideas we discuss here. It's not impossible to deprogram NPCs and recover their critical thinking skills.

Video gaming:

This is a tough one for me to fully articulate, but it boils down to what are we offering these boys that would make them not want to play games?

I don't think team sports is the answer. A lot of kids are not wired to play sports. Blah blah muh hunter-gatherers blah.

Sure, if you're a natural athlete, you can be one of the top dogs on the sports team, but who wants to be the bottom of the totem pole just by virtue of not being tall, fast or strong enough? These are the guys who end up addicted to video games, porn, and drugs.

Being forever second-string at something just feels bad.

I did competitive tae kwon do all throughout middle and high school and did the national tournament circuit for a bit of time. I know what it's like to compete and I was pretty decent at it. I loved the fuck out of it. In another lifetime I might have gone further with it, but I found that video games still won out in the end.

We can wax poetic about all the beautiful lessons we learned playing sports and competing (and I'm inclined to agree), but gaming is sort of an outgrowth of that in my eyes.

For a guy with extremely high dexterity and intelligence, you could become a musician, race car driver, pilot or something, but those jobs are often out of reach for guys with the requisite genetics until they've done years and years of schooling and then take a battery of tests and even then you may not make it. Let's not even get into the politicking that comes with it.

With gaming, it's just match-making. You win the matches, you go further and if you get really good you can compete for money. The prize pots for some local tournaments are fucking awesome now.

I know I'm a massive nerd, but aside from watching Boxing, Crossfit and UFC, the only other competition that truly engages me is watching professionals play fighting games.

What I love about gaming (in its most ideal form) is it's a type of competition where anyone can be competitive. If you're not too fast with your hands but you memorize match-ups and tactics you can hold your own at the highest levels.

If you got fast hands and you like to play risky, you can still destroy people based on your reactions and unorthodox approaches.

Something about it feels more "fair" than the real world and I can see why guys opt out of life to just game all the time.

What now?

A lot of the addicted gamer kids I meet now would have been the nerds of the past. The guys who do well in school but aren't exactly popular for it. Maybe they lack some social skills or they have weird hobbies.

The thing with that type of kid is that many of them are a lot smarter than average but they get average options thrown at them. This is why I've always been skeptical of "gifted" programs in schools. The people running them aren't gifted, otherwise, they wouldn't be running a program for gifted people.

These programs are designed by mediocrities to further accelerate smart kids down the path that mediocre kids usually take. Very compelling.

I knew many guys like this when I was growing up.

I saw this go down with my youngest sibling.

He was extremely withdrawn at the time so they ran a battery of tests of on him because they thought he had a learning disability. To the school's surprise, he was well above average for his age in all subjects and even amazing at math, but he was bored as hell.

They got him some extra help with organizational skills, but the fundamental issue is that kids like that cannot be engaged by the usual means. Left to their own devices, they find something they enjoy doing. Without guidance, that "something" is usually not anything that furthers the program.

Guys like this slip through the cracks all the time.

This isn't a problem that started 10 years ago. This problem goes back way further and it's now becoming an issue since these guys should be in the workforce but they aren't.

A lot of blame is laid at the feet of video game devs for making their products too addictive, but what does society offer to these guys that would make it worth it?

Addictive distractions have always existed: whoring, alcoholism, drugs and other things used to be practically legal but they weren't hitting such vast swathes of the population like they are now.

I'm not being pessimistic, but college is mostly a lame debt scam for a lot of guys now. Why hustle all throughout high school so you can take on your serving of McDebt?

The workforce?

Who the fuck wants to shuffle papers until they die AND do it for WAY less than your grandfather did it.

Raising a family?

Many of these kids are from broken homes. They wouldn't have a clue on how to run game, much less raise a kid and train a wife.

This isn't something that you can just solve with legislation because the guys will still be the same.

Let's say Yang Bucks becomes a thing. Some guys on the edge will probably become fruitful citizens, but many guys who are in the basement will remain there.

There needs to be a huge philosophical overhaul of the way we portray manhood or this problem will escalate.

But I have reason to suspect that this isn't the case. 33% of those incels are the same Omegas from yesteryear - but the other 67%? Are they the 2/10 and the 3/10 guys? I'm not so sure about that. There have been some major shifts if the female population over the past decade.

1) Birth Control & Aspergers

There was a report that came out recently (points to whomever can find the thread we had on this) showing that the birth control pill causes temporary Asperger-like symptoms in women. Let's be precise in what this means: it does not mean "They turn into a geek that likes to collect comic books." It means that somebody has difficulty recognizing or understanding emotional cues, particularly the more complex ones. Women tend to get the same enjoyment out of talking that we get out of building, so aspie women aren't obviously socially dysfunctional the way aspie men are. But they are dysfunctional. Relationship-wise, they'll fail to understand what effect they're having on you with their words and actions. For instance, if they say something nasty and hurtful, the emotion displayed on your face - pain and frustration that somebody you care about is being so insulting - will be interpreted as simple anger.

How can you be around somebody who accuses you of feeling one thing, and refuses to believe otherwise? No matter what you say, her brain is telling her "Emotion Identified: Anger" and any protestations otherwise on your part will be read as manipulation.

Widespread antideperessant and antipsychotic usage likely contributes to this emotional coldness as well.

2) Cultural disrespect for men

We all see this; we all know what this is. Men are depicted as foolish, brutish, simple creatures in most media. Even 'positive' depictions of masculinity lack nuance; Rappers, Action Heroes quipping one-liners, showboating athletes. Heck, look at the bubble-gum media: Luke Skywalker encountered hard moral dilemmas, weighing his commitment to family and friends vs the Force. He was thoughtful. Is there anything remotely close to that in the new Star Wars or Marvel movies?

Masculinity has been reduced to a plastic shell. Certain women have complained in the past about the 'supermodel' culture, where a woman's worth is reduced to her bust size. Men have been similarly reduced, and this is exacerbated by the inability of women to recognize emotion, pointed out in 1).

3) Pro-woman culture

Let's just bullet-point some of the artificial advantages women have here:

• Various incentive programs giving women an unearned advantage over men in school and the workplace,
• Women can do anything a man can do, and do it better, and men can't do what a woman can do - so what are men useful for?
• A lack of sexual shaming, enabling women to do whatever they want with their pussies - post it all over the net, use it to manipulate beta orbiters, cheat on their husbands, et cetera. "I've got the pussy, and I can do whatever I want with it!"
• A legal system which bends over backwards to protect their interests: when the courts go out of their way to punish domestic violence... let me clarify something here: domestic violence is wrong! But - sometimes it happened because the woman was using her tongue like a knife, ripping into her husband until he snapped. These days, women have no reason to hold back, and some will lay into you with impudence, while smiling because you can't do anything in return.
• General permissiveness and hedonism; widespread drug use; radical individualism which argues that nobody has any obligation to others - not to their parents, not to their friends or lovers, and not to society.
  

To sum it all up - women have been so puffed up that they act like they're goddesses. Nothing they do is wrong - cheating on their boyfriend, stealing from their employers, being overweight - all of these things are celebrated. Meanwhile, men are demonized if they don't provide the utility which women want. I forget the four-stages of rationalization that AnonymousBosch laid out, but one of them really stuck with me: "Anything I want, I deserve."

All of this taken together: the women in the west have about as much respect and love for men, as the soldiers in Ghengis Khan's horde had for women! Reciprocity is gone, amongst all but the most exceptional women; the majority feel entitled to anything and everything from the men, while any request for equal consideration is considered a vile form of "male entitlement".
