AsiaBaller, what you saw is mostly true.

The typical Asian immaturity is made worse here by the cultural void; pretty much like foreign oppression stunted their own natural development and at the same time left them psychologically messed up for generations. . .


But there's two problems :

First, if it was for hypergamy alone, I'd be doing great with the lower class girls, but as I just said, it's worse. The app where I have over 9000 likes and 0 meets is called Tan-Tan and it's a shithole like DIA (which I deleted after a couple days). I still get a bunch of matches per swiping session but not yet a minimally coherent conversation.
Instead, the girls I've banged so far are from Tinder and Bumble, where I only get a few new matches per week. There the conversion rate from 1st date to sex was 100%.
. . .and those and almost any other pulls I've managed, followed a basic structure of progress from basic polite conversation, to push-pull/banter to venue changes and deep-diving. As awkward as I may be. . .
In other words, because gold-digging/hypergamy is partial we are all already operating in a gray area that includes some "game" needed to maneuver. Better or worse. . .

Second, it may be a waste of time to come here for the girls, maybe. . . probably. . . But I'm stuck for a couple years for career reasons and already banging 5s and 6s. ^ The girls who have hang out in foreigner social circles, are on Tinder, date white guys or go to Cove/BGC/Poblacion bars are the most convenient, most westernised so easiest to get on with and have a much higher proportion of hot ones but still only account for 1% of the 8 million females in Metro Manila.

If you're having a hard time with them, go for the other 99% of girls who have no experience of that kind of thing and you'll have some exotic value to. As long as you are at least as attractive as a small ugly Filipino guy in a mouldy t shirt and beat up flip flops earning 10k pesos a month whilst having an affair with their cousin then you'll be fine.

How did you manage to get a job working in Manila? That's something that a lot of people here would love to do and find very difficult whilst they find the girls easy. If you can help them out with advice for that then people will be much more willing to give advice on the girls.

This thread is cracking me up. All the talk about the Phils being done. It's not. Sure there has been a decline in Makati/BGC. I mean, those places are practically 1st world. There are as many (or more) guys saying there's nothing good about the place as there are saying there's nothing bad about it. How about some nuance? There are some gutter sluts and some high quality women but most fall somewhere between. We can disagree about the percentages in each category, but not the existence of those categories.

All this is I can confirm. . .
The typical pinoy social circle is a dump; it's like hanging out with nerdy middle school kids or worse. . .
The girls who are specifically banging expats are riding the carousel; the one you bang today will bang a skinny 19 year old backpacker next weekend and some obese old guy the weekend after.

I add : The most obvious social circles for foreigners are thrash; a sausage fest with a few chubby girls and maybe one 6 or 7. Even if I pull that 6 after dealing with insufferable cockblocking/amoging (which I did, which I do) that means I'm leaving behind at least a couple dozen guys that are most likely not get any that night (and making enemies in the process; having them come amog me even harder next time). That's not my idea of "easy".

What remains then?

You're not doing anything wrong. Makati is an oversaturated trash heap compared to Mandaluyong or QC. Only banged one girl from Makati during my stay.

QC ain't bad actually but it's local as hell with piss poor food options and the annoying looky-loo locals who lose their minds when you step into SM North or Trinoma which is why expats hate it. It wears on you especially since good condos in QC are the same price as in Makati. QC does have some nifty little shops and you are bound to rack up some more notches than staying at Gramercy (imo).

But yeah like Eddie said you need to be ultra sociable and talk to those people via the local route if you want to access quality. But being an introvert with a strong bs detector I can't stand to be around them. They are simply too irrational and dysfunctional and have incredibly fake personalities. They also won't hesitate to screw you over. The entire society operates in bad faith around foreigners especially so just sit in your condo, pick off the easy notches and leave them to their devices.

I'll echo Il Bersagliere even though he tends to shit on the PH every chance he gets. You're on par for Makati/Manila. I didn't believe it until I got here myself.

Here's a tip though: cut back on the online stuff and go to clubs. If you present well, you will do better. Revel, Valkyrie, Okada etc.

As others have said, try leaving Manila. Try a smaller town.
