In my short visits to Southern Europe and having met a lot of women from that part of the world, I would agree with the sentiment earlier in the thread that the quality is lacking compared to other parts of Europe. While I have definitely met some stunners from Spain, I'd say Italy probably takes the cake for having the least attractive women in all of Europe when both looks and personality are concerned. Strangely enough I have met better looking Italian women born and raised in the western world (Italian American and Canadian women of that heritage) than women right out of Italy.

I have a theory about all of this though, countries and cultures where the local men are more aggressive towards tourist women (Southern Europe being a great example) in general have uglier women. The local men are tired of dealing with such low quality that as soon as a tourist comes along they are swarming her and trying to lock her down.

It goes even for places anywhere in the world despite culture where the local women are generally low value.

Compare this with guys from more tame cultures who don't cold approach as aggressively, they have no need to do it because they are spoiled with beautiful women in their vicinity and in many cases tourist women could be a step down.

Hawaii. I lived on the Big Island for a year. More butterfaces than any place I've ever been. You see them from behind, the long dark hair blowing in the breeze, skimpy outfits, your mind goes to all the tourism ads with beautiful hula girls, but when you get up close it's shocking how ugly they are. Short shelf life also. You have to get in there while they're very young, it doesn't last long. That's native Hawaiian girls. Some of the California haole hippie types are okay if you can put up with the attitude. Usually I don't say negative things about a whole ethnic minority group, Hawaiians ​are the exception. You couldn't pay me to live there again.

Spanish guys and especially Italians bang anything that moves. Bring aggressive has nothing to do with their "standards". The problem is that most of them are not getting any on a consistent basis...In place like EE where long term relationships are common the guys get laid a lot more.

Also like Manila, the few high-end clubs in town are still sausage fests but the few girls you will find there can tend to be more attractive (you will have to compete within that environment with local elites and other foreigners though so it can feel very much like a typical Western club). I've been to clubs where the entrance fee was 500 pesos and other clubs where it was 10 pesos (one of which got raided by the cops while I was in it - I offered one of them a beer but he declined - they didn't mess with me but did take their payment from the apparent brothel next door which I did not go to) and this is what I have noticed.

It is maybe anatolian genes that make in average modern greek girls uglier because historically they are a mix of balkan people.

Bold is also true for Italian women, especially southern Italian. I hear from an Italian friend that Southern Italians are the lowest of the low in Italy due to their darker complexion and as a result the women themselves are hungry to get with any man that is whiter than her.

I know this forum gives Middle Eastern men and to a lesser extent black and Indian men the reputation for being aggressive with women but from my experience, the one differentiator between Italian men compared to other kinds of white men is the fact that Italian men can get borderline rapey. I've known a couple girls, particularly blondes, who have been stalked and harassed by one.

The other thing I notice with Italian men whether from Italy or Italian American is the significant envy they get whenever they see other Mediterranean men (particularly the Spaniards who are far more desired than them) and especially minorities get white women. A couple of black guys I am friends with clean up with the blonde haired beauties, lets say that while most Euro and white men could care less, Italian men go full rage mode when they see it.

Lots of shit going on with that culture tbh, its why I only go for Italian women if they were born and raised in the Anglo world. Plus they tend to be more attractive than the locals from what I have seen.

Spain is for the most part pretty bad. Some gems are to be found in Andalusia and the Canaries but in the rest of the country and especially in Barcelona locals are awful. I absolutely don't find Oriental women attractive - but I can still find a few pretty ones (tall and skinny ones). I love Brazilian women ... so, after having traveling to over a 100 countries, I was blown away that in my 5 days in Portugal (Lisbon) I did not see a single attractive woman. Not even a 4. I can't remember seeing one attractive local girl in all of my trips to Bulgaria. This applies to the capital city Sofia as well as to the coastal cities and towns and the smaller second and third tier inland cities.

And, even worse, the shopping malls of my hometown Munich especially when filled with mainly lower class immigrant girls and wives from the poorer parts of the city like the many Turkish/Arab/poor South Balkans countries/refugees from Africa and the Middle East girls and women that make up a large percentage of girls now in Munich. I already thought Munich was bad for eye candy when I was a late teenager and there were still a majority of white girls around, but these low-class girls that are around in unbelievable numbers by now are just so shockingly gross, ugly in their entire facial features and appeareance that it's making you want to throw up.

The better off expat girls and tourist girls from parts of the world with more beautiful girls, working corporate jobs in Munich or just here for a visit, are found in the city centre mostly and not that bad though.

We must have very different tastes. Just got back from Bulgaria and all the major cities had slim, cute, dark-featured women. I was impressed. The smoking was a major negative, however.

To answer original question- Brazil seemed a bit overhyped. Some stunners but the average wasn’t great.
